Pronunciation doesn't work
This is a great helpful app but the one problem i've run into is that the button for audio pronunciation can be pressed multiple times to no avail. It’s hard to learn essential terms used in any conversation when you don’t know how to say the words.
Good dictionary, bad ads
Adverts seem to be much more invasive in this latest version. The dictionary is still very good, just there's always the danger of a misplaced touch covering the whole screen with an advert.

Decent dictionary, ok app
This is probably one of the more useful free Eng-Rus dictionary out there (or inexpensive if you purchase add-ons). It does have its bugs, however, and the interface can sometimes be cumbersome to work with. A few translations are not entirely correct, so it requires previous Russian knowledge to distinguish. Despite paying to specifically remove ads, I still receive ads for the developer's other apps. Also, every few days the app reverts back to the free version and blasts me with 3rd party ads. It's easy enough to restore my purchases, but that's not something I should have to do on a regular basis. The developer is unable to fix this issue, so I've since started using Abbyy Lingvo. Expensive, but entirely worth it for serious Russian language students/enthusiasts.

This dictionary performs quite well; I haven't found a word that it doesn't have! I also love that you can use it without the use of internet. There are flashcards and a good phrase book. This dictionary is as good as my Oxford!

Too much ads
While using this immediately an ad played full screen with the five second countdown. This happened pretty often in my experience while I was exploring this app for the first time. Didn't even get into ten full minutes of using it, I'm going to use another dictionary
Ok but weird words
Took weeks before i could see a useful word, most of them i never heard of in english!
Indispensable for simultaneous interpretering
The offline capabilities of this app make it indispensable for me when I am sitting in a booth without internet, interpreting. It's so easy to use that I can continue interpreting even while looking up a term. The translations do require someone with good knowledge of the language, though, to choose the correct term. Nevertheless, it's an excellent app and all the other translators are now installing it.

Wow not even "привет" before it required me to spend money. What a joke.. as if the ads for the dating site weren't bad enough
Excellent dictionary
Very useful language learning tool. I only wish the pronunciation aid would continue to be available.
Useful but cumbersome and flawed
A useful checker, but rather glitchy since last update for things like selecting to copy/paste words (inexplicably you have to click the blank space to the side instead of on the word itself), also the search button is now a slide-step away rather than first screen, something that's irritating in use as you need to use this feature all the time (since unlike all other dictionaries which list 'nuances' and contexts alongside word options listed, for some reason this dictionary just gives a long list of words with no hints as to how they're used unless you do specific searches for each one, rather frustrating and counter-intuitive in use as everything becomes needlessly multi-step rather than single-step as it is with other dictionaries) - so, useful but cumbersome and flawed...
Somewhat helpful
I'm using this to supplement my college language courses, and it's a great way to expand one's developing vocabulary. I didn't give four or more stars because sometimes, the English word (for which the Russian translation is to be guessed in the multiple-choice area) is obscure and antiquated, if not completely unheard of. Also, sometimes there is no Cyrillic spelling offered for a Russian word...probably bugs, but kind of annoying nonetheless.

Cheating to pay double
Hi, One year ago I paid to remove the advertisements from the app. Now I can see the ad again and suggestion to pay to remove it. What is the ....? Why? Really, I like the app but I don't like to be cheated.

Very useful ! The games especially are a fun way to learn but some of the words of the day need an English translation as they are quite obscure !

It worked well before now, but recently it has black screen and an add at the bottom which requires me to press on it. Stop these annoying adds, please!

If you list several different words as possible translations, it would be helpful to either list connotation, context and/or semantic differences for each. Grammatical gender for nouns would be helpful, too!

Abysmal
There are so many English words that are completely made up. What in earth is a "dog bee?" I thought maybe this is some obscure British or Australian slang, but the Internet shows nothing. Other stuff just looks knotty like "a bad quarter of an hour" or "a back view of things." Don't even get me started on the Russian. It looks like someone just stole a freelang dictionary and tried to upgrade it a bit. Seriously, even google translate would serve you better than this. If you can't speak EITHER language, don't make a translation dictionary!

It auto populates words so if I don't know how to spell something I hear in a movie, I can usually find it.
Who Chose Content
I am sorry but this could be good but the content is not helpful. The Word of The Day is usually a word I never use in English. For example microsurgery. A lot of the words I did not even know what they met in English! What is the chance I will ever use them in Russian? Can I get a refund?
All in all, a good app
The only real problems that I have with it are ... 1) You can't activate the audio feature for individual words listed as secondary alternatives 2) The app itself is very slow to load up
Terrible, not a dictionary.
Will demand my money back okay so the dictionary is not virtually a dictionary. You ask of it one word it gives you a list of about 20 words does not say witch is the correct word coming from someone who does not know Russian wishing to translate English words.

Overall good but the word of the day needs someone to look it over prior to posting. Many of the words are not common language. Would be better with more common words.

Unbelievably ridiculous words to learn from the multiple choice game... Words I'd very rarely use in English... English words I didn't even know let alone words I would want to translate into Russian...also no Russian pronunciation available...only English ???!!!! Bizarre...

The app is good but could but better. When the app opens the word of the day should automatically appear. Also, I shouldn't have to type in a word to get the rest of the alphabet. Yet, it does provide any word I need so kudos to that.

It was OK for the first second or two, but then you couldn't listen to the words unless you paid! If it doesn't show you how to say the word, then this app is useless. I recommend itranslate.

I already know what it sounds like in English!
The free version is useful, however, I upgraded for the pronunciation so that I could hear what the word of the day sounds like in Russian. Unfortunately, the pronunciation is in English. I contacted the developer and, in spite of letting them know that I was connected to the Internet and the pronunciation worked in the words but not the Word of the Day, I have found no fix for this. As a result, I hesitated on upgrading to the full version. As a free app, it will help you find what you are looking for, but it's not much different than other apps out there.
