Difficult to navigate
I’m just finishing it hard to navigate the app and if I go to the link from Facebook I have to log in each time. I have also found there are so many advertisements which makes it hard to through.
Love these books
I have never had a problem with the app crashing. My only complaint is with the cake pops book, there is annoying music on the index pages and no setting to turn this off. The other books do not have the music.
Charging twice
Frustrating you can’t add the books you already own in print without having to buy them again
New iPad and can’t open anything in Library.
Can’t find anywhere that addresses the problem in FAQ’s.

The same issue as everyone else with all books gone -effectively stolen I saw the option to update but the no app opens. Why is this app still listed? I’ve given it one star just to show I just didn’t forget to rate it

The app won’t let me make a purchase. Super frustrating. What’s the point
Better to have it than not
All great recipes that are easy to follow and produce tasty food. Always!! It would be great to be able to search all recipe books for a recipe. I know I’ve seen a great beef rib recipe somewhere but I can’t now find it again! And you can’t organise bookmarks. Ie slow cooked or chicken dinners...
Inseparable advisor
I’ve been using Australian Weekly recipes for many years now; inseparable cooking advisor. Some ingredients are hard to get where I live in the world, but I manage to prepare from scratch sauces I can’t find or with some botanical know how those that grow here if so.
Very Disappointed…..
Sooo unhappy - lost hundreds of dollars of recipe books I had purchased & can’t get back - no matter how many times I have requested my books back Are Media - you should be ashamed of yourselves for changing an app without making sure previous purchases would come across
Downloads not monthly!
I noticed that while I pay a monthly subscription, the downloads are not monthly. Eg, I just downloaded Cakes and Cupcakes today but my last available download was the 2-Day a Diet from TWO months ago. It's unfair to charge a monthly fee and not provide the said service. It also makes it very difficult to track which book is for which month of subscription. I am a loyal customer as I have also purchased most of the other available books through this app. What makes this very frustrating is there is no one to contact regarding this so I hope someone sees and responds to this. I'd hate to cancel. Thank you!!
Where's the nutritional info gone?
I used to look forward to adding a new cookbook to my collection each month. Now, there have been two in a row with no calorie counts or other nutritional information. This is very disappointing. It used to be great to know how healthy recipes were so I could make good choices to help me lose weight. I won't be buying any more books without it!

A poor reflection on the Women’s Weekly Brand
I think this app is a scam. It doesn’t work with IOS 26 (let alone lost purchases and lack of support).

A great app, but most disappointing that there have been no new books for many months. I was looking forward to having a much more comprehensive collection than a mere four books and one freebie. Please add more soon! I have just bought a new iPad, and some books I have paid for are refusing to download. This is most frustrating, as I want to use them.
Disappointing titles
This is a lovely app and is really well presented. It may just be me but I find the choice of titles to be really disappointing - I can safely say that there is absolutely no chance of me ever using any recipes from the Pop Cakes issue and as there's already been a Children's Cake issue in the few months since this started I think they should be choosing something with a broader appeal.

Terrible
I renewed my subscription till November 2025 and have not received a new book since March 2025. Ridiculous! How do i cancel and get my money back?
Not good value
I have been using Women's weekly cookbooks for most of my life, so when I saw this app I took out an annual subscription. To my surprise however this does not gain me access to the whole library. I still have to pay to download most issues. What is going on? Not good value so far.
More books please!!

I'm from South Africa and have always enjoyed reading and cooking from the Australian Women's Weekly Cookbooks. This iPad app is fantastic, simple to use and the recipes look great. I can't wait to have the fun of trying them all.

Where are the releases.. I pay monthly and do not get a monthly cookbook! I can’t find a direct contact point to ask what is going on as my subscription is till May !
Lack of ability to print make this a looser
At first I was having a split screen issue where I could not diplay the rcipe on a full screen. I deleted and reistalled the app. That resolved that problem so I raised the rating to 2 stars. The lack of printing ability is a real pain. I do not like to keep my iPad in the kitchen with water and other things that do mix well with electronics. I like to print out a working copy which can get wet and greasy and then get trashed. I would also like to print or copy the text to make up my grocery list. The one or 2 recipes I have tried were not bad, but for all of the aggravation, I will search for my recipes on the web.
Please sir, may I have some more?
It would be useful if a list of recipes contained within a cookbook might be available prior to purchase. Once purchased however the recipes are well written and easily followed. I was disappointed to find that there are only 3 cookbooks available in this format, odd considering there are so many available for hard copy purchase.
All bought cookbooks disappeared
I bought a number of cook books a few years ago and after update not long ago, all books have disappeared. Notified the publisher and they asked what device I have and that’s it. No replies to my queries.

I like so many others have lost a lot of my cookbooks since the update. Unable to retrieve them the subscription is a waste of money if I am unable to download my missing books. No where within the app are you able to retrieve them. What is wrong with whoever is looking after the app surely they can do another update so we can retrieve our cookbooks. Maybe they just can’t be bothered you have our money for the subscriptions so do something to rectify this.
Rip off and no support
All of my many previously purchased cook books have disappeared and unable to be restored. No support. Disgraceful and unethical behaviour. Apple should not allow this app in their store.
Thieves
Went to get Mother’s Day recipes only to find can’t access my collection anymore. Disgusted
