Excellent app
I use this app to assist with various task. “A reminder in the kitchen along with range timer if I leave the kitchen, a reminder of an appointment or meeting.”There are so many situations this app participate or plays a part. Thank you🤗
Useless
So when it works, it’s not bad but… Unlike other similar apps, there is no way to luck it and so I start it, put it in my pocket and than the app get deleted… And the worst is that they do have history that keeps all past programs but there is no way to reinstate it. After 3 occasions where I had to stop in the middle of my workout and rebuild my workout, I gave up.
Needs more timers on the paid version.
On the custom timer page is too restricted. More timers would be beneficial at the warmup and cool down section rather than allotment of only 2. We should also be able to select if the timers are repeatable or non repeatable and place them where ever in the stack. For instances, after 2 repeats, swap to a new set of intervals but have a single use timer to so one could switch equipment while the timer runs.
Sounds
What good is a timer if the sounds does not work when the time is finished?????? Agree that is a problem sometimes. It shuts down without reason. Had to buy a regular timer for important time needs.
Great timer
Update. I used this app all the time. But it seems with all the updates when you try to change the time it refused to change the time till you start and stop then you can change the time. I been using it for years but now gets so annoying. I changed my review from 5 stars to 3.
Best timer Ever
I have to say that I didn’t think I would use this timer for much but I was wrong I use it daily and I have 5 different timers that I use since I can label them specifically for whatever I am doing from diamond paintings to paint projects or just coloring in general or whatever else I want to do it counts up or down makes a lap timer when I’m walking it’s extremely simple and easy to use I would recommend it for any one especially if you are a regular diamond painter as I am .
Useless
I get this timer app so I could set repeatable alerts to take medication for the next couple of days. Missing a dose means periods of extreme pain. I just woke up in agony after missing a dose to a silent notification box that a timer had gone off with no indication of a sound ever being played. I tried setting one up as a test and it seems that this timer app can’t do timers. If you need an app to file you lock screen with useless banners this $20 purchase is for you, otherwise, stay away.
GREAT, EXCEPT…
Having tons of useful features, the Pro version is easily a five star app EXCEPT there are no instructions - and they are needed because using it is not intuitive.
Marker
I often set the stopwatch and forget that I have it going so that it runs sometimes for days before I notice. A marker beside the app would remind people that it’s actively timing so that we can be reminded to turn it off.
Losing time to glitches
The timer display on the lock screen doesn’t always match the timer in the app and it randomly resets time back to 0 leaving me guessing exactly how much time I lost.
Excellent App
Been using it for several years - on our iPad & Apple Phone. Where you can use it - it is really up to your imagination. 1) I use it as an alarm for when to start a task 2) I use it when cooking multiple items in a meal. 3) I use the multiple feature to remind when to stir, flip, etc. Easy to use!
Really?
Not possible to try this app out as the adds pop up befor a timer ends. Once the add pops up it is impossiblee to cancel it. Looks nice, has functionally I want, but not able to test it and there is no price listed. To bad
Been using for years
Seems that the quick timers are not sounding. The rest of the timers are fine. It seems to be a new glitch. Please fix.
Alarm Malfunction
Recently, alarms will randomly stop working, completely throwing off workout.
Audio ducking problems
I’ve been using this app for a few years and every so often there is an issue with audio ducking. It seems that certain ads have an effect on the audio volume when alarms go off, many times, lately, the volume does not return to its original level, requiring the app to be closed and reopened. The more annoying issue is when the music just STOPS - the music has to be manually restarted from the source app. This has gotten to be such an issue, so frequently, that it’s sent me on a search for a replacement as the subscription cost for ad removal is absurd. It’s happening again. It seems certain ads just stop the music from playing
Great app
I enjoy how you can have multiple different timers at one time. I also enjoy how you can select multiple timers at one time and start, pause or stop all at once.
Good app turns bad
Music is does not work well with app being up. Latest update is messing up listening to music when it didn’t have that issue before
I love it but…
I love this app but am sad that there’s no Live Action for custom timers.
Having problems? No support in the app
I up at fir Pro, yet with my many timers, this app will hang during resets of more than 3 timers and when I try to update timers that I set later than the action I took, I can only update 2 before the third one hangs halfway through and I have to restart the app for every 2 timers changed. Also, if you try to contact support in the app, you get a message that says “Something’s gone wrong; Content could not be loaded.” So, no way to contact support (called help) in the app. Please fix these problems. I rely on this app for many serious reasons and I would appreciate it, as a paying customer, to have it work smoothly and correctly.
Used to be 5star
Just did an iOS upgrade to 18.#.# and get a blank page. Reboot no avail. Hopefully a fix is coming as it was my favorite timer app
Highly recommended!
Seems simple right? Timer app? Nope! One of the most dynamic and powerful timer apps out there, developer listens to feedback, constant updates, timer history, multiple timers, highly recommend!!
Doesn’t Work
Doesn’t ring unless the app is open. Useless for me.
Not working again…revised
Ok, the app is back to sounds working which is great! Thanks so much that the developer reached out to me too. I reinstalled the app but that didn’t help either. I didn’t do anything else and a few days later the sounds are working so I’m happy!! Once again, the sounds have stopped working. This causes a lot of issues, especially when timing is crucial, whether cooking or with medications. I’ve been using this app for years and have really enjoyed it and it’s been so helpful. Lately it has been quite troublesome and has caused quite a few issues. Please look into this and take care of it. It would be greatly appreciated by everyone that uses this app.
Creator got greedy
I had paid for the pro version back in 2016-2017 and I love it. No adds, nothing. But now I have adds again and pro version requires a subscription. It wasn’t the end of the world with adds but now it’s stopping my music. I won’t be using this app anymore. They got greedy. I already paid for the pro upgrade when it was $1.99 Bye
Lockscreen widget doesn’t work
Pretty decent free app unfortunately the one thing I downloaded it for doesn’t work. When you fix the lockscreen widget to show a timer countdown, please let me know and I’ll download it again.
| multiple timers
had this feature before apple
Riddle with hackers
Scam for cash cards. ID as Apple support for unusual activity in wallet and Apple Store. They ID themselves as Apple tech support until you go down rabbit trail when want money but that is after going into bank account to check for other fraud charges. Have notified Apple
overall help app, with some desired improvements
I like Timer+ and have the pro version. however, as a poweruser with a lot of alarms/stopwatches to track things, it's hard to manage. It would be very nice to group timers together into folders so they are easier to use :) (review as of 2026 June 11)
Dependability
The app will not work after the last update.
weirdly count up timer stops
by the time i check my timer when the count down has stopped, I want to know how much time has elapsed. I thought I would like this because it counts up elapsed time, but alas when you click the notification it resets the timer and all that useful info is gone without me stopping the timer. defeats the purpose.
Recent Update Fixed Volume Issues
Update: The newest update has resolved the volume issues. Thanks! Old review: The newest update that said it fixed the volume issues actually now is causing the volume issue. The app worked fine for me before the most recent update. Idk what happened here. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, which didn’t fix the issue.
Unreliable, would not recommend
Has failed numerous times to sound, despite many change and adjustments. It’s better to get a physical timer.
but...
would love to get ride of the seconds wen setting the time.
Needs Laps
Help. Is there laps when running the stopwatch? A stopwatch without laps is pretty useless. Otherwise pretty decent app.
The timer and alarm are not synced.
Timer had a great idea here, but after using it for a little while the alarm seems to randomly go off in the middle of the timing. If this is fixed in the future I may reconsider.

Suckage
Shuts off in sauna to give me an add. Useless product
No sound when timer up
Can add timer labels Limited # of timers Can't use siri to set timer
Doesn’t work
It doesn’t work. I had it loaded but it would not create notifications. I checked all the notification settings. I had pro. I closed down all my apps, deleted it, did a hard reset and have loaded it back in twice now. I now can not add a pomodoro timer and when I click on the upgrade to pro button, nothing happens
Timer+ works well, but only one app is open. Bad for multitasking.
Should work when not primary app open on phone. If this was fixed then I would give it five stars.
The best!
I love it. Have used it dependably for years
Spyware on what should be a simple app
The app immediately asks to turn on personalized adds, and doesn’t work without them. Major violation of privacy for a simple stopwatch.
Five Star iPhone App, One Star for the Watch App
The iPhone app is great, but the Watch app is next to useless. The Watch app apparently can control the iPhone app, but the way it does it is very flakey. An independent Watch app would be best so it can be used when untethered from the iPhone.
Now has poor colour contrast
Why have you changed the buttons to white text/icon on a light blue background? This probably fails WCAG.
Backup timer
The timer is hood just thatIt need to use notifications sound
Perfect for working out
Been using this app for years. It's simple and effective. They are also really responsive with fixing bugs in a timely manner which is much appreciated.
Ads destroyed the app
I’ve used this app for years. It used to have a small banner of ads on the bottom. It was never noticeable. After this last update they increased the size of the ads so it’s 1/3 of the screen. The ads are all videos now. I can no longer justify using this app. It’s an eyesore. Do not recommend.
Great app with one annoyance
I use this app a lot. I have a variety of timers set up for Yoga, meditation, etc. – different lengths with intermediate alarms. The interface is well designed and thought out. It would be nice if custom timers synced across my various devices. Alas, they do not – you have to recreate them on each device. Not a deal-breaker as you only have to create them once, say when you get a new device. There is one quite annoying bug though. That is that if you turn down the volume of your phone this app does not obey the volume. For example, alarms often go off much louder than you expect. This can be quite jarring depending on what you are doing or expect. The developer could have a setting to set the volume which would correct this. It can be really annoying and it happens often. Given that the alarm sound (which you can specify from a list eg “Meditation”) is a core feature of this app you would expect to be able to control the volume of it, but no! Huh? Sheesh… Overall a great app with one serious flaw that could be fixed I presume.
Was great before iOS 18 update.
Before iOS update timer was running great. Being able to tell how much time left is great. But after the update it doesn’t display the timer anymore in lock screen.
Could’ve been better
This app was great for me to track my interval running, only bad thing is that you have to be on the app to hear the alert, so your phone has to be on the app the whole time, you can’t turn the screen off or you don’t hear the alert. I also can’t hear it over my music. Unfortunately, had to delete it.
