The greatest tool
Don’t like it but it’s all I got
I really don’t like this app. It’s ok, but several things really bother me. Like being prompted to write a review. Forgetting my password after an update and making me have to look it up to type it in again is really frustrating. I think they fixed the force resynch issues. That was really frustrating. I’m sure I can think of other problems, but don’t want to dwell on it. Thanks for the reminder to review the app.
Rabbit holes
That’s what I call it when I find myself drilling into attached links and finding them so interesting. I followed them to a point where I forgot where I started, and sometimes I’m not able to find the back button.
Poor search tools
This is a tool to provide information about members so that you can contact the right person. But without more robust search tools the app falls well short of that goal. You have to be able to search by phone number.
High priest
A few versions ago it was much easier to search for someone in your ward. You could search by last name and it would pull up the Family and then you click on the Family name and then could find the individuals in that family. Now it pulls up every name in the ward as an individual contact so if you’re scrolling through all the names, you have to scroll forever to find the name you want.L

Directory
Incorrect information in the file the directory is incorrect. I live in trailer 113, however according to the records, Emilee Peterson lives with me she does not. If you go by the view of the park, it puts trailer 113 right at the entrance to the park. This is also incorrect so for people trying to find my or to find this young lady, they might have better luck finding her but they are going to find 113. Thank you.

Great
Photo access of individuals is chronically problematic
Among other problems I have had, my main demerit of the app is that I can never maintain photos in the membership directory. I have photos turned on in the display options. I can see my photo and my family members and possibly some members occasionally from my own ward, but no one else. If this problem is intentional and designed to be this way then those in power need to rethink the importance of photo imagery for the purpose of placing people and making connections.
Updating/syncing
Very helpful to have and use. However, it doesn’t actually sync or update like it says it does. If you wanna know that your information on the app is current. It’s best to delete the app and reinstall it. Which does get kind of old.
Too many glitches
I find there are far too many times when it’s unavailable. Then it seems we get new versions every other week that I relearn then they’re gone. I’m a fairly techno efficient person but what about those who aren’t? Please get a good app and stay with it? Tools is great, but the current version has some bugs and can be frustrating to use.

Persons have moved to neighboring wards months ago, but still showing records in old ward while LCR is current.
Returns to home page
I don’t like how frequently the app returns to the home page when you’re flicking between other apps.
Ministering
I have updated my iPhone to ios18 I can no longer see my ministering members when I open my profile I have to go to the ministering tile to see them
Messages
The messages about new tiles will not be deleted. I always have a red 1. Bugs me.

Good App
Has sync issues between it and Covenant Path and LCR. Also I can see the children within families and as Bishop it would helpful to be able to see this
Directory not showing
App works great on my iPhone but not on my iPad. When I tap on directory it is totally blank. It also keeps asking to sign in and then acknowledge the changes. I sent feedback through the app and I hope someone gets back to me. I can access everything else. Manual update takes too long. The app was upgraded on November 1.

I love the amazing tool this app has become for members! I have been using the attendance widget which does still need some fine tuning.
Navigation Between Ward Directories
I’m an out of unit missionary serving abroad and trying to navigate between directories and is not easy. Did something change? It doesn’t seem like it was this hard before.
Place for person notes
I would like to see in an update, a place where members can add personal notes on their profile for others to see.
Fix bugs
The app is nice to have when it works. The syncing is the biggest problem at the moment. It never completes the sync so it asks every time I open the app. Sometimes I can work around it and sometimes I can’t. Please do some debugging.
Can’t sign
Hi, I have used this for many years as a leader but I can’t sign in recently. It says the service is unavailable. Please fix it. Thank you.

Glitchy
I would love for the user experience to be smoother. I take attendance for Primary. Sometimes the attendance function shows up and sometimes it doesn’t. Most times I have to login through the browser to complete the task. Please fix. Thank you!

But would be nice if it didn't ask me to alter my privacy settings every time I open the app....

Lots of bugs and outages
Just in the last couple weeks I’ve had issues moving records, updating records, reported recommend issues, and sync button not working. That’s the short of it, but functionality issues everywhere.
New Update March 2022
After the update I’m having trouble doing Attendance. It will not allow me to mark anyone as present. Hoping it can get fixed soon 😊
Account Locked Out
If you don’t sync the app in time, it will lock out your account.. it will tell you that even your correct information is wrong, and then if you try to change password it will tell you that even word##word##specialcharacter is somehow an easy password and refuse to let You change it.
