What people like
- Works perfectly offline
- Looks really beautiful
- Very accurate compass
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Accuracy varies by location
- Magnetic cases mess it up
iPhone 16, awesome
Love the flexibility to change compasses, very accurate. Seamless and quick as I walk and navigate.
Doesn’t work in Australia
I can’t get it to work here…. Help !
Compass App
Thank you for the new ALTITUDE feature! Please add SETUP option to include ALTITUDE in FEET vs M.
Schade
Bevor ich den Kompass ausprobieren konnte wurde ich schon aufgefordert, 2,99€ zu bezahlen. Das nenne ich mal gewinnorientiert. Leider mag ich das nicht, also aus Prinzip wieder deinstalliert.
Phone rotation
Why is it when I am driving and open the Compass ⊘ app I have to rotate my phone 180° so the dial matches my proper direction?

Southern Hemisphere Only
I am in USA and here compass is backwards. Figured this out after paying for it! No way to reverse it in settings that I can find.
Heading lost
Good for indication only, a good sense of direction needed. I took a hike ,2 miles in the woods with a geological survey map and this app as my only direction finder, much to my surprise, it worked fine but does require a lot of interpretation, good lock.
Compas
Not always works. It cannot find north from certain earas.
Great Gadget
Works like a charm. Keeps me on a correct course . Great for the Woods.
Calibration
The app won’t allow any calibration. No movement of compass hands.
Compass
Compass is a simple yet well designed and effective navigation application. Upon purchase if the free version users will get a classic compass interface that displays above the main design your location and the compass itself the coordinates steadily changing dependent on your movement. The app also has a paid version that will allow you to customize the compass interface using different themes and removes the ads as well. Compass works well as a guide for those who are using or are dependent on an iPhone or iPad device.
Not good in a case with magnetic catch
I think this app is affected by my wallet style phone case which has a magnetic catch. If it’s in this case I can open the app & see a reading, then close the app, remove the case & open the app again & get a completely different reading.
Elevation
Needs to be in feet
It’s very precise and useful
I love it
Location
It doesn’t know where I am…. I says I’m on several streets away from my actual destination
Nice app
Accurate. However the interface could've been less confusing.
Ads interfere with function
I turned it on and a pop up ad comes up. Delete
Compass all indicators
It will be better if it had 4 needles showing 4 direction
Great service
Always seems ready for me, a directionally challenged individual. Thank you for being there!
Not working
The app does not work.
Nice app
Nice to see proper app showing proper directions
Problème
La mise à jour du 12 février 2012 neutralise le fonctionnement de cette application, et plusieurs dés installations/réinstallations n'y ont rien changé.... Dommage !
Mr
Very useful
Works in areas without cell coverage
I suppose I should say that obviously the compass does point north just as it should when you are in areas with cell coverage. Of somewhat more use is the fact that when you are in the Yosemite high country/back country where there is no cell reception the compass still points north and is fully functional.
Compass is suddenly off!
What’s the deal? Your last update screwed my app up! Now it’s way off! What happened?
Quite useful
This is quite useful thanks
Schade...
bis zum letzten Update ein hübscher kostenloser Kompass, nun durch Werbung verschandelt. Ich lösche ihn nun...
Nice app
Nice app. User friendly
Love the compass
I like that it can show true north and magnetic
Cannot find true north, junk!
Terrible!
Nice App
Simple to use & very handy all the time
Disappointed
Was a really really good free app but now they have introduced ads so going to have to look for another compass app. Plus there's no full version not that I would get it Anyway.
Nice app.
Nice and useful app.too good
Nice
Work good
This compass app doesn’t work on my new iPad 12
I once worked on my older iPad but not anymore and I don’t know why...
Nice
It's good and very helpful.
Misleading
This looks pretty, and it works fine (at least, after I took my iPad out of its case, which has a magnetic clasp that confuses the magnetometer), but the background image doesn't rotate! So the needle points north in one (correct) direction, but the background says north is in a different direction!
Compass
It is really Useful to my works & travel. Thanks
I love playing with compass!
I love this app. This is the most beautiful compass I never seen!
Compass
Can’t seem to get it to do anything???
Niranjan Thakkar
Good tool
Work like described on iPad
Work as compass like described. Only damping of compass needle is a little high. Nice App.
Don't click the book!
Clicking the book in the compass takes the screen to advertising an there is no way to return to the compass. To me this says "I don't care about the user as long as they buy my stuff.". Boooo. Nice compass though what the heck I would use it for I don't know. iPad compass is not accurate in any way unless moving faster than the gps error rate.
Unbeleviable
Longitude and latitude only thing its missing Maybe geo logging...?
Your app reads wrong.
North reads 30 degrees to the east, should be 15 degrees. My address is way off, I can’t enter my true address. Perhaps that is the problem.
Rr
Ok app
Sieht schick aus, aber geht falsch
Mal ein großer Tipp an den Entwickler: nur weil das iPad im Querformat hält, ändert sich nicht der Nordpol. Aber sonst einfach und nett
Stay with version 1
If you upgraded to this v1.1 then keep the .ipa file for the original version! This version includes ads, but it doesn't tell you! The ads make it look horrible....
