Hello devs! Just downloaded this game, I’ve got to say, the impression is amazing. Only thing is, we watch and ad for different tom sounds, but we don’t keep them…. I shouldn’t have to waste my time for cool tom sounds.

Bro. How can you delete the OG ORIGINAL BEST TALKING TOM ON THE PLANET from existence. Outfit7 have made the worst decision they could have ever made. They revolutionized people’s childhoods, whether it was asking for your parent’s phone or using your iPad to talk to and, sometimes, torture Tom the cat in that classic alleyway. But now, he’s gone forever. And they’ve replaced him with this slop, the stupid, modern take on the cat for the new generations. This is very, VERY disappointing Outfit7. You could’ve, at the least, had another app that would be the classic one, but no, you decided to “revamp”, or shall I say, ruin the classic OG app. In conclusion this was a horrible, disastrous change. Bring back the original, classic Tom that everyone knows and loves. Do better. 😔

Okay, I would play your game lots as a kid but the change is not what I’m used to. I’m so sad! Where did Tom go? New Tom is here! New Tom okay, not as good. I know it’s so kids like the game but why? It was more popular before, why get rid of good ideas?

I do like the new update but I wish we had an option to switch between the old and new versions of Talking Tom. There’s just some things you can’t get with the new version like you do with the old version.

So when I download this game it said “put ur real name and ur ID” like it’s a FOUR years old game not a 18 plus
I still don’t mind the game nowadays.
I grew up with Talking Tom & Friends. I watched the show and played the games and loved them when I was a younger kid and still do to this day. But since the new redesign. It just feels a bit weird. Because the 2016 version was what I grew up with and I wish they would just keep the old version with the new.

Definitely an objective upgrade but...
If you're unaware, this is the remaster to the original hit game Talking Tom Cat from 14 or so years ago back in the early smartphone game days - It's objectively an incredible improvement in terms of animation quality, frame rate and real time rendering of the actual model instead of pre-rendered ones at 15 FPS. The animations have way more personality then before and genuinely made me laugh for the first 5 minutes, in addition to serving me like 10 ads in said 5 minutes. After those 5 minutes? I was over it, I had seen almost everything the game has had to offer and although the animations are great I do not care enough to watch 30 second ads to get more food, gadgets and voice modifiers to see all of them. With that said, the fact this is £10 for the full game to remove ads and voices are ridiculous - after you've seen all the poking animations, food animations, gadget animations and voice modifiers you have seen it all and there is genuinely nothing else to do, this is a problem the original game faced of course but that was fine in like a 2010 mobile app, this is 2025, you need to do much more to keep anyone's attention, not even a kid nowadays would be stimulated by this for more than 10 minutes. Talking of the original game; this has completely replaced the original game's place on the app store - this is a preservation nightmare, it's lucky we still have many APKs available of the first game but anyone on an iPhone is out of luck if they want the OG experience and not the new experience where 10 ads are shoved down your throat before you delete the game from your phone after 5 minutes. Also, the fact this keeps the very high ratings of the first game since it replaced it spot is very disingenuous. Just... why? Why Outfit7? Why did you sell out this bad? I wouldn't recommend, even to a kid, play the much better My Talking Tom, that one is so much better and keeps you playing for longer then 5 minutes total.
How Talking Tom Was Ruined
The Old Talking Tom in 2017 was amazing, it was fun and entertaining to play, but Talking Tom 2025 sucks now, Tom Looks Awful, And The Game Is Now Boring that I deleted the app and never played it again!

They used to be a really good app and that’s just full of adverts and you can’t seem to record as long as you used to it’s such a shame because Talking Tom cat was such a fun app. I used it for my stepson’s 21st birthday and we were able to do minutes of conversation it was really funny now I can’t get past 10 seconds before an effort appears
