Great Basic Weather App🌦️
Weather app is always reliable & dependable for basic, easy to understand weather info. Latest update has indeed fixed the problem with accessing full text descriptions. Thanks so much!! 👍🏻
Time to update my review...
Best weather app ever made, as long as you don’t add too much junk like most other weather apps. Definitely needs “notifications for weather alerts”, and “Apple Watch support”, that’s the only thing missing. You can’t always open the iPhone weather app, so the notifications for weather alerts on the Apple Watch and/or iPhone screen would really help.
Disappointing
This app lacks documentation, precision and timeliness. I don’t understand what some of the values listed represent. Pinpointing my location on the map doesn’t seem to be possible, and the temperature only refreshes once an hour. These short comings, to me anyway, make this app overprice. I would like to get my money back.
Nice app. But….
I enjoy this app. I have used it for a while now. I am disappointed that the paid version the graph doesn’t work right. The POP bars don’t work on the iPhone paid version, but they work on the free version. Also would appreciate being able to pause radar which I cannot do with this app.
Best Weather App
The format of both written and visual content makes checking the weather easy. And it gives quite accurate weather predictions.
Stabilität Vers 5.0.0
Am 1.1.15 geladen, Läuft nicht mehr auf iPad3 unter iOS 8.1.2
Better
I would give 5 stars if I could see radar at the province level as well as station level! Next update maybe?
Clean and Simple
Straightforward and easy to use. What I'd like to see is 10 days out, but that said, it's still a worthy app using NOAA information. Great on my iPad since it doesn't come with a weather app this one is an excellent replacement.
Could be better
Dull and boring. Maps could be better. Not worth the cost.
Wanted to try it out
So far impressed with the app it’s accurate to a degree cause nature has a way of changing its attitude 😌
Crash fest
V3.0.0 will not start. Not a good way to launch a new version guys.
FASTER! Yay!!
Thank you for making this faster and easier!
Misleading App
I purchased this app because it claimed to have the weather for cities in Canada- well I wasted my money since there is no info on Winnepeg. What's up with that?
Lots of Information, but Lacking
I'm downgrading my rating. This weather app still doesn't use location services. When combined with the small fonts and all too frequent "Data not observed" message, there are other weather apps that are easier to read and more reliable.
The best
I am a weather junkie and this app comes the closest to my outdoor weather station for temperature. Yay! Thank you….
Great weather app. Needs widgets
Fantastic weather app for Canada since it uses the very reliable Environment Canada forecasts. I love the easy navigation and clean but pretty interface. Only thing missing are widgets. Otherwise this would be my favourite weather app
Ok
But WTH is sunset at 16:20???? I am AMERICAN and don't have time to unscramble that, want human time NOW!
👍
Excellent easy to use app. Works well with voiceover. Alerts notification and Apple Watch support would be nice though. Been using it for years and love it.
Great App
This is the most accurate app I have used in a long time, I would like to see more selection for towns in Nova Scotia tho, so if the creator could make that happen I would love the app even more, but if not I will still use this app faithfully.
Works well, nice & minimal
Have used many weather apps, I compare their info with what is outside. This one does a good job, the interface is very simple, tells me what my day will be like, when I want lots more data than the basics I’ll use Windy.
The one I stayed with...
I 've tried many weather apps but I kept coming back to this one for its good data without sacrificing simplicity.
Time scale is out by an hour
Since Daylight Saving Time came into effect, I’ve noticed that the time scale on the hourly forecast graph is late by an hour. At 11:00 AM the vertical line on the time scale is at 10:00 AM. This leads to confusion. I’m in the MST/MDT region. Please fix. This is my go-to weather app and it’s disconcerting when it’s not accurate.
Concise, user friendly Environment Canada weather app.
Not a lot of whistles & bells here, but an easy to grok snapshot of the day, & several more, going forward. Best I've found!
Great
Accurate for Canada & sends a link right to the government page for any special alerts, you can get all the original reports easily, not only the shorter interpretations.
Kapt
Good info
awesome
we never go any where with out consulting it, essential for camping and fishing
Excellent, uncluttered weather
Just like it says, the weather without lots of other junk. It uses NOAA & EC forecasts, so good, accurate readings...esp EC. The EC forecasts are based on the locations listed by the EC--just like the EC web site. Time is based on the 24-hour clock, so if that confuses you, ask your mother to find you another app. It does, however, let you switch between celsius and Fahrenheit readings, which calculations do require an even higher level of arithmetic acumen than 24-hour clocks.
Simple and Effective
Easy to use, accurate results, great app.
