New updates
This app is great overall. I like that I can organize my different accounts in the order I want. One new addition is the insights that pop up. Can you guys make it where after I see it I can swipe left on it and delete it from the main page? I like the account page to be clean and that gets in between different accounts and there’s no way to get rid of it. Please see this devs, thanks!
Can’t open app
This app used to be great. When ever I try to log in now I get an error message occurred while processing requests rendering the app useless.Would give zero stars if I could.

App is has good features and info but cluttered and a lot of information displayed. Not as seamless as other banking apps
Frequent system crashes
I joined this bank on the recommendation of a family member whom is a veteran. My issue or big con is the bank’s app and website crashing several times and phone lines being down. I’m not verifying my card for apple pay. my screen has been stuck on this screen for an hour, and i have to pull money from my bitcoin. fix this app

They are so helpful and they’re on call 24 seven they are amazing and I love them. I don’t know what I’ll do without them.

Its 2026 why can I not see my information about my debit card (expiration date , card number , etc) in the app
Dark Mode Plz?
Is there any chance at all we could get dark mode?
Crashes
App hasn’t been working on my iPhone for quite some time. Deleted the app reinstalled it still get the same error.
Come on NFCU
The only reason I’m giving three stars and not two is because it usually works day to day. But when the app is down there’s no way to access your account. So I can’t move money or even use it to pay for something digitally. The fact that my banks app can go down just proves that I probably shouldn’t trust them with my money.

What’s the point
Recent update - exchange rates
As much as I have always loved NFCU and its online banking, I remain a bit disappointed that the recent app update does not include monetary exchange rates for foreign currencies as it did previously.
It’s okay. Except mobile deposits, worthless feature
For the time I’ve have this account they have never ever been able to resolve this issue of mobile deposits. No matter the lighting, framing, updates, etc, the image always remains an error with left side blurry. I use mission fed mobile deposits it’s 50/50 but I still have a 50% chance while with navy federal It 0% chance of being able to deposit a check via the app.
Payday and Sneak Peek
I wish they would bring back the sneak peek feature so I don’t have to login every time, It was so much more convenient. It would also be nice to have the reserves pay shown on the pay calendar like Active Duty.
Too many glitches
Maintenance be done at weird hours when you need money and the app is stuck so you can not unlock your card for a large amount of time which is frustrating.
Better off using someplace else
The thrive off of gullible, young service members. There service stinks and is NOT designed for people on deployment (otherwise they would not require a stupid code to get into an account). I switched because the website kept saying there was an error, but magically, after using the data-mining app by NFCU (read the EULA), I was able to get in using the same password.
Horrible
This app lately is bad, bad, bad, either it’s been comprised or Navy Federal is literally withholding account information. I log in and I get a blank screen. Nothing works!
Dark Mode
Needs a dark mode option and an option to stop asking if I want to save device after login. I don’t. I’d rather have the security or “convenience”.

Went to NF Murrieta branch to open an account. Juan just made it very easy for me. He very well explained the products and made me decide right there and then that NF is just for me and to yons of people out there looking for a bank and where to patk their funds and invest. Not friendly
Transaction categories are wrong and can't be turned off and even worse, can't be corrected, so my water bill is marked as "dining". Financial data is shared with an unnamed "trusted third party" to provide, it appears, AI generated "insights".
Over a year and thenglitxh has not been fixed
Ever since the Mobile App made the downgrade to the money transfer section, I have had to hit each number twice for it to show up. So, besides making it from ‘I want to move this money to here’ to ‘this is where I was to move from there’, there is a feature which makes me type 50000 just to transfer $5.00. Please fix this bug sooner than later.

Every time I need to use my app it’s always down for maintenance. Never had a banking app always down as much as this one. I’m switching banks
Where’s the calendar that shows scheduled deposits?
I only see transactions I made for outgoing credits and I no longer see the incoming deposit transaction, like my salary. I used to see it on the upcoming transaction calendar on the old app and it helps me budget my money for the week before my salary is deposited.
Deposit "FROM" & "TO"
You all need to change this back to how it was. There is no logical reason to have changed this and it is stumping me to this day because it is not ordinary. Select where to move money from first & select the destination next. Easy....
Awesome. Has everything the U.S. app has
This is the exact same app as the NFCU app from the US and has all the same functionality. I was hesitant to use it at first due to the low rating but those are old and if anything went wrong I know NFCU would have me covered anyway.. It’s good to have all my same banking needs met while in Canada!

Great App BUT…
I love Navy Federal & I love my app as well. The only thing I cannot stand is there are rarely any updates for the app & when you spend your money it’ll trick you some times to show you have more than what you have available in your account. Leading you into being overdrawn. I TRULY cannot stand that.
Easy and convenient
I love this because it makes it easy to check my accounts. I don't need those paper statements mailed to me because I have it right on my phone.
Unreliable pathetic app
If you are in an urgency and want to transfer money from saving to checking at a evening or during rush hour, you’re doomed with this bank. Their app is always under maintenance and the online tellers are not able to transfer money. Don’t risk this, use BofA instead as they are the most consistent ones I have had so far and reliable ones. Comparing all the banks such as chase, navy fed, BECU etc

Great app but…
Update didn’t address my problem. I can’t seem to add my State when I’m trying to enroll to my credit score. No matter how many time I tried to put in AE, it comes up Africa. Hopefully they can address this soon. Also, I can’t enroll on the website either, I try to click on enroll then refresh pops up, hit that, only to go back to enroll again.
