Missing data and can’t restore
This is a great app for tracking, I’ve been using it for over ten years BUT it randomly wipes out data and there isn’t a way to get it back. Very disappointing

Update Deleted 13 Years of Data
I started using this app in 2013. While it has been extremely helpful and accurate at tracking my cycle over those years, last month they pushed an update that wiped out all 13 years of my data. Now the app knows nothing about my cycle. I don’t get the timely reminders or ovulation information anymore. I have no way to restore it, and support never responded to my email about it. So yeah, this is a great app but it’s frustrating to lose so much information overnight with no way to recover it. Why have a support email if you’re not going to respond to user concerns, and why make an update that clears out years of data? It just doesn’t make sense.

Old version is better but i still use it
Ive been using this app for years (probably over 15 years). I really like the old version better. The UI/UX was way better. But their tracking is good so i still use it regardless the ugly and not user friendly improvement in design. I hoped they bring back the old design if users complain but it doesnt look like that will ever happen.
You no longer can restore data
Changing my review after the "restore data" option was removed. I don't know if it's just gone or behind a paywall, but it's no longer in the menu list. I've used this app for 11 years and now years worth of data just gone with no warning.

Was great until the most recent update!
I’ve been using this app for over 10 years and I’ve never had a problem with it until the most recent update I installed a couple of days ago(Dec 2025). Now the app crashes and closes every time I try to open it. I get a couple of digits of my password entered and the app just closes. It’s not really helpful if I can’t get into it to see my history or day of my cycle.
Consistent and reliable
I have been using this app for almost 10 years and love it! Very easy to use and it provides a reliable calculation of your cycles. Lots of options to track symptoms. Can use it for fertility awareness or even perimenopausal symptoms.
Lost data
I’ve used this app since 2013 and liked it for the most part, but I often lost data and had to go through the process to restore it. This time however I lost all of my data and am unable to restore it. Thankfully I had recorded most of it in another place due to previous issues, but this time I’m unable to restore it and I’ve lost the last 6 mos, which I hadn’t recorded elsewhere yet. I should have moved on after the trouble I had before, so that’s on me, but I’d caution against using this app or at least recording your data elsewhere as well because you will lose data at some point.

Latest update not working
This app was a good tracker but since the latest update the app doesn’t stay open. It closes by itself within a few seconds of opening it so not sure how the latest update improved bugs as it’s just increased them!
Time to say goodbye
You were great, until you weren’t. The simplistic UI and eye catching colors made that I’ve been a faithful user for years and I’ve tried to work with this app but the crashing and data loss issues are just too taxing now. I won’t lose hope that you’ll get better with time, but until then, au revoir

Used to work and now it doesn’t
I’ve been using this app (paid version) for years without a problem but recently it set a really long cycle length for a past period and when I tried to get it back on track it’s now way worse. It has me at a 717 day cycle length. Have emailed support via the app three times and received no response. Going to switch to a different app. It’s just super annoying that I will lose all my data.

UPDATE: App owner is saying in review responses to go to “settings” then select “restore” to recover missing data. I’m here to tell you…THAT DOESN’T WORK. I just tried it 5 times. Even shut my phone off and rebooted. ALL OF HISTORY IS STILL GONE!!! Going to delete this app to find a more reliable one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When I first downloaded this app, it was amazing. Very accurate and reliable down to the day. But thank goodness I downloaded 2 other trackers because every time M. Cycles changes something or “upgrades”, it seems to erase my previous menstrual cycles. Today, I had to sign in. I haven’t had to sign into the app in ages. When I signed in, my entire menstrual cycle history was gone. It’s even asking me questions or giving directions as if I’m a first time user. Geez. The only pro is despite all the deleted data, it still is accurate of my expected menstrual or ovulation start dates. But the major con is if you don’t have a back up tracker and your doctor asks, when was your last cycle, you may go to the app and find your previous cycles are gone.
Frustrated with crashing
I've been using this app for years but over the last couple of months it's been crashing more and more. I was using it for medical purposes and not being able to access my data is incredibly frustrating! Also the data tracking is insane and unnecessary.

I’ve started using this app about & years ago, and so glad I did. Now that I turned 50, and skipped a cycle I can go back over the years to see if I see pattern. Keeping track of my cycles has helped identify if I’m in perimenopause, ovulation regularity. I had one issue an update occurred and lost some of my data but was able to recover in the settings. Has symptoms tracking, and flow tracking. There are extras for a fee but I use the free version and have been very happy.

Whyyyy the changes?! It was as perfect the way it was! It was so easy to see how long my cycles were, and when I last started. I have used this app for so many years to check ovulation, and now my period as I am perimenopausal and everything is a mess with my cycles. They did a major overhaul and it was so confusing and not user-friendly. After the latest updates, I have no idea how to use it and it is a completely different app

I’ve been using this app for years without fail. Recently it’s been giving me issues by completely resetting and I have to restart my log. It’s a pain because I’m getting older and my period is starting to fluctuate and I had notes saved for my doctor. All that is gone. Guess it’s time to get a new tracker app.

This app is getting on my last nerve
I have been using this app since i got my period over a year ago and this problem has been getting more and more annoying. I’ve had to make another account several times and now that I’ve had my period for over a year I can’t remember when I got each one to enter all the data correctly. Almost every time I go on the app I’ve been logged out of my account and I can’t remember my password. I’ve tried each time to use the “forgot password” tool and it gives me an error message each time. I just want to see when my period is coming so I don’t bleed through. Is that too much to ask?

I been having this app for the longest time it signed me out all passwords I put in sent me to different pages that i had but never used. I tried changing my password but never received any of the email. I’m paying for subscription for it as well. I’m first time pregnant and I would love to have my page back so I can see my progress with the symptoms and all. Please please someone help me get it back.

Long Time User - Spontaneous Deletion of App Data
I’m a 24 y/o female and I have been using this app for a little over 10 years now. It was the first and quickly the only method of successfully and accurately tracking my cycle. In the last 6 months, there have been updates and changes to the app that have made it significantly harder and more confusing to use. I dealt with it though because again, this was my most reliable method of tracking my cycle. In late December, I went to open the app to see I had spontaneously logged out of my account, with no successful attempts at reentry or recovering my data. Everything was deleted. 10 years worth of data, deleted. I have reached out to the Polycents support email twice over the last month, with no response. I don’t know what else to do or how else to recover my account and all its data. To keep the personal side of this brief, I have suffered from terrible periods and hormonal/menstruation related health conditions for most of my adolescence, and my whole adult life. In the last 5 years, the app became essential to advocating for myself in doctors offices, and accurately tracking my cycle and symptoms. It’s devastating and genuinely scary to have to start from scrap, and not be able to predict my cycles moving forward. I’m disappointed in the app and the developers for not avoiding this issue all together, or supporting their customers more in recovering lost data. I will no longer be using it or recommending it to anyone.

I have had the app for 11 years and never had an issue, until the recent update. I am now unable to login and the app does not recognise my login criteria at all. I have a medical condition and really need to have access to my records. Also, the email address provided on your website no longer works and the é email bounced back. Can you please advise ? Every attempts I made, reverts to the app

All information gone
I've been using this app well over ten years. Every few years they do a weird update that wipes all of your saved data. Then after a few updates, it is fixed. The same thing just recently happened and the updates have not fixed the issue. I never had to have an email or password to login. & the feedback from the app's support is not helpful as the RESTORE data button they direct you to click is not available. Beyond upset and frustrated.

Deleting Data
I’ve had this app since about 2015, and it keeps deleting all my data! In the past year alone it has deleted all my logs and everything else about 2-3 times now. And there is no way I have found to get the information back. I would not recommend to use this app, because it keeps deleting everything.
Please bring back the old version
In the past the app was very good, useful and very easy to use and track. But these days something went wrong. Very confusing and hard to use. I find it very hard to put information, find the record and read the data. Very disappointed.

Don’t bother
I have used this app for several years. Over that time this app has gotten more and more frustrating. There is no biometric log in and the app will sign you out regularly so you have to keep signing back in. Then most recently I logged in to check my calendar and ALL of my data is gone. No way to tell if this is the week for Aunt Flo or not. Found a new app to use and am deleting this one.
Found a way to restore my data history
Been using it for a while and I rely on this app a lot to record all my menstrual activities. Just recently it told me to login when I never did. I was able to recover the information by creating a new account and clicked on “restore data” in the settings button. Hopefully that helps restore your lost data.

After more than 2 years with this app and relying on the data I have constantly entered to track my health, this app lost almost all the data I had and I can’t even export it because it asks for an email to be set up and mine HAS BEEN THERE SINCE I STARTED. if anyone from support actually sees this- please explain how to retrieve the data I lost.
