Best weather app ever
I live 45mins away from St. Louis I watch fox2 before I go over there for doctor’s appointments.
Completely unusable
Zero stars. The ads have made this app unusable. Ads continuously pop up and cannot be closed until sitting through it. Heaven forbid there be a severe weather situation or warning.

Update sucks
Use to be the only weather app who’s weather map was spot on but now the 12 hr and 24 hr maps are way off from each other AND neither is anywhere near correct. Please pay attention to your app function. If it’s not fixed soon, I will have to move on.
I hate the new update 4/17/26
I have loved using Fox 2 to be able to really dial in the storm cells and the projection on it. This new update has completely convoluted the entire thing & it doesn’t save the view you like best as the default, it just puts it in the dinky version of radar. I also don’t like the new way of doing the storm tracks. Before, you could see exactly what each cell was projecting in an easier box to see. Now it’s like it flashes up the entire encyclopedia of things and it’s hard to distinguish what actually is going on. Pleaaaaase take it back to how it was!
Weather Coverage You Can Count On
I’ve never had a problem with the FOX 2 weather app, it does not have all of the features that the KMOV app has though. In future updates, you may want to consider adding in some of the graphics that they actually use on the air, like KMOV. I love the FOX 2 weather team, and that’s why I’m giving the app 5 stars, but there is a lot of room for more features.
Now useless
Was the best app. That I recommended to everyone. Now you can’t do anything because there is constant pop up video adds not practical to use anymore. 100% would not recommend.

Getting disappointed
Been using this app for ever. Have lived it up to the last week or 2. Radar strobes out, doesn't update properly anymore. Weather updates and keeping up with current storms are a must for me. I've had to download other maps now cause this one just isn't up to par anymore. Please fix. Thanks channel 2.

Ads won’t go away
There is. Ow a persistent ad for some university that comes up when you open the app. No matter how many times I hit the x to make it go away it won’t. I have to reload the entire app and then the ad comes up again. Worthless.

Radar map doesn’t even come close to what the current conditions are, what’s the point of this app?
Don’t know what happened
I don’t know what happened to the fox 2 weather app. that I love but something did!! I always use to use the follow me on the app so when I get to work I can see the weather there instead of my home town but I cannot use it because it says I’m in the middle of the ocean in another country whether I am using my WiFi at home or my carriers Lte internet. I hope this issue gets fixed because I enjoy know what the weather is like at work as well as at home. I know I can switch it every time but it’s easier for it to change itself. Thank you. Becky W.

So disappointed!!
I just can’t believe that Fox 2 promotes this app!! My go to station for weather information!! It’s hard to believe they encourage us to use this app when it just doesn’t have the same information available as the broadcast, one would think it would be updated to the current information within a reasonable amount of time, but it isn’t. So disappointing!! Guess I’ll have to get a more reliable app for current information when needed.

This app worked perfectly for years and now it is freezing the second I open it.
again worthless
app is again worthless. we used to be able set defaults on what to show. now you can’t set storm info, like: rain amount, storm info and direction. yes, it can be added, but each time the app is started, you must select that added profile, which at 3am, lights out, and not wanting to wake up my spouse, that can’t be changed without great difficulty. and you still can’t leave the app running because it stops updating. it’s storm season and flash flooding and tornado season, PLEASE FIX THIS.
Inaccurate, radar map
I am a farmer that Lives in the metro east area. as of today, I will no longer use this app, and I have deleted it. This weather app/radar is so inaccurate compared to the others. Fox two news should be ashamed of themselves. The weather channel app is more accurate by far do not waste your time with this app.
App data rarely matches Fox 2 local
The new update has shrunk the giant ad banner down to a more reasonable size. I have been using the KMOV channel 4 weather app ever since this one brought about the giant ad banner. The KMOV app includes a lot of things I don’t need in my weather app. Things like weather closings, live streaming, web cams, etc. But I’m going to stick with it for a while to see if I like it better. My biggest complaint about the Fox 2 weather app over the years has always been that the weather data they pull for the app in no way matches the weather forecast coming from Fox 2. Oftentimes being very different from one another. The whole point of downloading a local weather app from a local broadcast station is to get that same information on the go, 24/7. I want the same information that comes from our local weathermen who are in the area and know the local climate. I’ll continue to use the KMOV weather app to see if their app data is more in line with their local forecasts.
Extremely inaccurate
The radar on this map is dangerously inaccurate. I’ve noticed so many times when we’ve had tornado warnings, or when it’s been snowing heavily, or having heavy rainfall that the radar will be clear. But a lot of the time when it’s showing rainfall it will be clear and sunny. I’ve also noticed that sometimes severe weather alerts are put in the wrong locations on the map compared to the National weather service’s or even channel 2’s live radar on tv.
Doesn’t work on my iPhone 11
It asks if I want local and notifications, goes to fox screen and just sits there. It worked great on my iPhone 7 Plus, must be some conflict or something going on with app today
Not compatible with iPhone XR
This has been my only go-to weather app for years, even the past 2.5 years that I have been living 3.5 hours away from St. Louis. But I just got a new phone and now most of the app features are not accessible. The drop down choices for radar map, hourly forecast, etc is not visible or accessible. The app ads are at the top of the view and covering the app menu options. UNFORTUNATELY I'LL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER APP THAT WORKS WITH MY iPhone XR and has the RADAR option.
Lousy App!
It use to be good, but the last couple of months it quit loading fast. Now the app rarely loads data. The page is there, but no weather data on any of the pages. Totally unreliable, so basically worthless for weather. Had to download another weather app.
Yea...no
App is great when it works...10% of the time. 90% of the time it can't determine GPS location and asks for a new place to search for. It also doesn't like to follow the settings sometimes to start you on the proper screen. Might make you want to go back to that pos KSDK weather app...
❤️ but issue
I have used this app for years and loved it until...the recent update took off the location at the top of the screen. We travel a lot and this is an important feature to me. If this doesn’t change I will have to find a new app 😪

Suddenly giant ads started popping up. As if the ad banner at the top wasn’t annoying enough. I’m going to delete the Fox 2 weather app if it persists.
Can’t turn the annoying sound alerts off
This would be a solid app, except that I can’t turn off the audible alert for nearby lightning. Even when I set the sound alert for lightning off, I still get a computer voice going “lightning has been detected near your location.”
Great for adds but nothing else.
Doesn’t work at all when you try to watch the local video forecast. Plays a 30 second add perfectly then nothing. Deleted and reinstalled app with same results.
Would Be Great If It Worked
After the last 2 updates I can’t get the weather report video to play, so that pretty much makes it useless. I don’t know what happened but if I can’t get the information it’s supposed to provide, why do I need it. Guess I’ll try one from a different channel.
Fix this app!
I’ve had the fox 2 app for years on my android and the past couple months it doesn’t automatically update and it takes forever. Now I have an iPhone and it just doesn’t update at all…
Erases all of your saved locations after app updates!!
I would have given this app a perfect 5 star rating. However, after the app was updated with its most recent update, all of my stored locations that I took the time to actually pinpoint specifically, were erased. It prompted me add if I were using the app for the first time when opening. This, to me, is a huge developer oversight! Please make sure that you code in for a transfer of saved locations on your future updates!!
