Stat geek girl since 2012
Absolutely love this app. I’m an MLB fan so I use it primarily to score MLB games. It’s incredibly intuitive thus smooth to use - tap & answer questions, you can’t really mess it up. Because I score so many MLB games, I love the roster interface that allows me to import the daily games, then sync the rosters when they’re submitted before the games. The rosters are updated daily as changes are made so they always reflect player moves. I love the hit spray charts, then checking stats to see which pitch I would recommend in different situations. I love being able to tap a pitch location in the zone, select the type of pitch & speed, then the ability to view & print color pitch charts & compare game vs season ERA, WHIP statistics. I’ve also used the app to score little league & legion baseball, it’s perfect for scoring & sharing the book with coaches & parents.
Can’t change in play info
I love this app and use it all of the time. With the recent update, when I go to put in a hit, I’m unable to change to grounder/pop up because of the overlay. It was fine before this most recent update

Years outdated
Been using iScore for years and the interface is the same as it was 10-15 years ago. I went to a game in Phi last night and the bugs I encountered years ago are still there. Please, you have the easiest scoring mechanics out there but please, please, PLEASE either catch up to this current century or sell it to someone who will.
Buttons for balls and strikes clock violations
Needs buttons for ball and strikes for clock violations that doesnt count on pitchers total throwing count.
Not optimized for new iOS
This app has always been fantastic and I use it for scoring MLB games. As of the most recent update the issue with the Undo/Redo/Misc buttons being enlarged has been fixed but a new problem has been created in its place. The new way that the buttons have been set up is fine, but when I choose the Flyout/Popout option, the buttons stay on the screen and cover the options for Soft/Medium/Hard and Popout/Flyout/Lineout so I cannot choose an option, which means I Cannot score games where there are flyouts/popouts. Leaving as 1 star until this is fixed
Almost perfect
Easy to set up and use. Almost perfect… just wish there was a league stats function in addition to the team stats. Instead, league standings, batting & pitching category leaders have to be done manually. Add that & it’s a 6 out of 5.
No place to submit errors, problems
I only use this for scoring my MLB team games. This software is the best I have found other than writing my own. But right now I am getting a network transmission error every time I try to iscorecast synchronize after a game. I have over 5 games that have not synced and are waiting. Yet I have no place to ask what is going on, or how to fix it. Also, this software would get 10 stars from me if they would keep up with MLB rules. I write a lot of notes when I’m scoring to cover the ABS and game challenges.
Screen size
The screen is over blown on the new iPhones and is not optimized for button and font colors. The light and dark modes have font colors that disappear at times. This used to be much better.
Great App
I absolutely love this application. They have thought of everything. It hasn’t changed much i do wish i could customize the size of the different screens. There are times i want to have the scorecard up but when it gets late in the game it is difficult to position the scorecard on the side.

App won’t respond when I enter my Gmail address. And after purchasing 2026 rosters, they weren’t available.
Better than GC accept…
If you could develop something similar to GC to follow a team etc. and the “broadcast” shows what’s happening live (not just a twitter feed) and you can simply watch it from a devise anywhere there is cell or Wi-Fi. Homerun.
What happened to the Misc button?!?!

I’ve been using iScore for 15 years or so. The current support is awful. Went to import a team’s roster on the website. It reminded me to back up from the device. I did so not knowing my device had been wiped, so I just lost years of teams and games when it exported nothing to the server. PLEASE DON’T RUIN THIS APP.

Error message when emailing
I’ve used this app for more than a decade to score high school games. Great app, except since late last week when I try to email the game sheets or team stats to the head coach (or myself), I get an error message. “Unsuccessful. Failed to send email - please try again later.” I’ve tried multiple games and multiple emails to no avail. And the link to contact support does not work either! Please address ASAP.

Once great app has been abandoned
This is my go to scoring app, or at least it used to be. There have been no updates for 2 years now. The interface and system has been needing desperate updates for a while. This app has most likely been abandoned as support never responds to emails as well.
iOS 26.2 Display issues
After the latest update the app is too zoomed in on the display. You can’t see the score at the top and menu options at the bottom like the scorebook and settings are inaccessible.

Great app for scoring baseball games! It's very easy to use and learn and the customer support is top-notch. Reports are generated quickly and can be emailed and saved in various formats so you can do further stats if needed. I HIGHLY recommend this app!
UI Issues
I’ve used iScore for years and have recently synced it to SidelineHD, but on any iPhone running this version, the whole top half is cut off. Can’t see balls/strikes while scoring, the bottom right menu is completely hidden and unusable. I’ve emailed and have been told they are aware, but no fix in sight and it’s not usable for me and many others who score games. Please fix this issue soon as we are already in season. Currently using GC because the UI is so bad.
Best FREE baseball scoring app in the market!!
Hands down the best and most detailed scoring app in the market. Most important, it is FREE!! It is super easy to use once you are familiar with the user interface. The play-by-play summary, hitting and pitching details, and undo features are awesome. This would be a FIVE STAR app if there were some improvements on how moving runners and allowing line changes after the game has started (as kids run late and need to be moved to the bottom of the order vs being skipped).

Needs Updates
Overall, I like to score our softball games with this app. I do not like having to manage a new league every season and I do not like the stats of a player and how you cannot filter them. You have to go into the team stats. There is also a major issue with discovering teams, specifically for USSSA. Currently you cannot search for 2026 teams to add. Also, when you do search, it is missing certain age divisions. I have tried reaching out and get no support. The support website is a joke.
Powerful
Powerful program. Haven’t found anything it won’t do. Cumbersome for me but probably due to the learning curve. Very difficult for me to score in real time but hoping that will improve with practice

Great app historically, we use it in our 8 team APBA league, seriously an all-time favorite app BUT…the problems introduced in this version, on iPhone anyway, need to be addressed immediately. Giant buttons, dark mode unusable, can’t see OUTS or INNINGS (kind of a big deal). Do better, please!
Great flexibility
The flexibility in the lineup is great. Our league has every player bat, but only 9 on the field. Only issue I’ve had is syncing between my iPhone and iPad
Non-intuitive
Having tried all of the free versions of the competition, I bought this one because there was no free version to try. Some of my issues scoring a real game today: - Player position swap (e.g., CF to P and vice-versa) - took me five minutes, though once I figured out what you were supposed to do, it wasn't too bad. - Called strikes vs. swinging strikes (3rd strikes it does ask); I see in the description above, they differentiate between called and swinging strikes - the only question is whether they are referring to 3rd strike only. - Stealing second base - clicking on the runner, you have to click on a button to indicate that he went to second and then click that he stole the base. I can't tell you how many runners stole first base while I was scoring, because I thought that if I indicated he stole a base, it would move him up. - On a safe hit (say a single), it asks what happened to each runner and then asks what happened to the batter. He's already at first, but you have to say he "Held Up" or "Advanced by Batter". Neither of those make sense. - When the ball is in play, runners don't move up automatically, you have to move them individually. So, bases loaded and the batter hits a double, you have to move the runners on 2nd and 3rd to home and the runner on 1st to third (and say the batter "held up" at 2nd). - Getting a 6-4-3 double play in correctly was...difficult. - There's no intuitive way to edit a play. I'd fallen behind because it took me 5 minutes to figure out how to move the center fielder to pitcher, so I put the play for the three batters in figuring I'd go back and do the pitches in the next inning break. As best I can tell, there is no way to edit an individual play - you have to undo back to the point you made a mistake. Granted I did NOT read the manual or help or go through a tutorial, but it shouldn't be as hard as it was. In my case, a waste of $13.00 (AU).
MLB 2024 Stats Bug
It is loading the players but I paid $20 for something that doesn’t even work right when it doesn’t load the stats in like it said it would

Not working on iOS 26.3
IScore has been working flawlessly until iOS 26.3 hit on my iPhone. Now it attempts to open for a millisecond then closes. What’s up with that?

No Longer Able to Save Player Photo or Team Logo on iPad
Great app but recently downloaded v5.31 of iScore baseball to my IPad. I found out today there is no longer an option to save a Team Logo or Player Photo. On the Choose Photo pop up the only options available are Cancel and Move and Scale. The Use option that used to be on the right side of the menu is now gone. Please fix as this is very annoying and takes away from the experience of scoring a game. Thanks
Best Scorebook app!
This app is so good for scorekeeping for baseball, it is so great! From just having it live to the world to actually scoring the game is easy! I would 100% recommend this app for baseball fans who want that next level to score a baseball game next season.
App no longer working
App now crashes every time I open it. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, nothing works. The version 6 upgrade has been disastrous.
Works great, most of the time
The app works great unless some is called up from the minor, comes off the IL, or is traded. I pay $19:99 for the MLB sync and it works as long as there are no player changes.
Coincidence
So one time I accidentally put someone’s name on the roster it wouldn’t let me delete it and that is why I’m rating this 3 stars and for the scoreboard it doesn’t have Errors like it does on a baseball scoreboard
Great App with Lots of Features
I started using a different app to score baseball games but it was too rudimentary. Iscore provides much more information but is very easy to use. I like that you can set up the line ups in advance and reuse them was needed. Scoring is pretty straight forward and lets you record almost every detail of the game. Substitutions can be made on the fly. During the game and one final you can get a regular scoresheet to view what transpired. It also produces a play by play description during the game. And you can print out email the scoresheets if you choose. I can’t think of anything more I could want in a scorebook.

Was a good app but now it just instantly crashes when I try to open it.
Good for casual scorekeeping
Needs an update to reflect the new mlb rules (runner on 2nd to start extra innings, ohtani dh rule, intentional walk without pitches) other than that it’s great once you get the hang of it
