Good app but difficult to access bottom line
I like this app but find it difficult to access the bottom line of the list due to tab. The tab at the bottom where it says recent, favourites etc makes it difficult to access things such as miscellaneous, especially on my phone with a small screen.
Needs updating
Hard to read, not formatted for iPhone screens needs an update.
Good, not great
Pros: broad scope, ability to choose metric versus English units, nice clinical background info and explanation of the equations. Cons: mainly little glitches that make it kind of frustrating. Examples: the data entry screen obscures some of the information and you can’t minimize it. The category at the bottom of the screen, “Misc,” can’t be accessed because you can’t scroll down far enough or minimize the toolbar. Search is sometimes clunky, “BMI” isn’t found when searching, but “Body Mass Index” is. And so on. Would still recommend the app, but it needs a little work.
Great clinical tool
Just what I was looking for – especially the eGFR calculators and the CHADS2 score come in handy!

Excellent
Has all the scores you would need to hand both in the ED and on the wards. Highly recommended, shame it's not yet optimised for iOS 8 or iPhone 6 however.
No sirve
Compre la aplicación hace años para tener todas las funciones. Era adecuada, rápida y fácil de usar. Pero la última actualización de Mayo 2022 la volvió inservible, es tedioso colocar los datos porque resetea los valores de medición y en algunos apartados no da el resultado. Fastidioso, inservible, ya que se requiere velocidad para la información y ahora no funciona. Lastima.

The calculator for GFR (Cockcroft-Gault) no longer works. Please fix.
Practical & useful
The only medical app I use in practice. The opioid converter could be extended to be supremely useful, eg add tramadol, fentanyl patches, buprenorphine.

Just missing something
I like it a lot but there's one thing that bothers me. When I get a score on a scale, it doesn't tell me what it means! Ex.: is a score of 16 on the Injury Severity Score good or bad??
Some serious issues
Nice collection of useful items but it doesn't work smoothly, some don't work at all. This is a work in progress.

I love this app. As a renal pharmacist I recommend it to all junior doctors for eGFR and crcl calculations on the go. The only problem is the eGFR calculator has stopped working (won't let me insert BSA!)

Useful app with a large variety of clinical tools but overdue an update as favourites still don't save when you close the program (with iOS 5.0.1 on 4S).
Problema
Ottima app, ma ha un piccolo problema: quando calcolo apache II e inserisco la pressione arteriosa media non mi permette di tornare indietro per inserirne il valore, ma bisogna chiuderla e riavviarla ogni volta! Se non fosse per questo sarebbe perfetta!

I use this app day in day out. Unfortunately... When you save favourite calculations, they seem to clear themselves off of your favourites list when you fully close the app. One for the next update please :-)
Great idea
The info is very useful but they don't all work. For instance The physics conversions don't change to the listed categories. Stuck on energy. Would pay for working app.

Designed for human medicine, there is enough on here to make it useful for veterinary surgeons. Very nicely designed interface.
Lost a star for bugs
Brilliant FREE app but loses stars for bugs, most recently the Unit Concersion (Physics) is stuck on the default tab (i.e. you can't select a different caregory such as pressure, mass, etc...) Hope it gets fixed!
Fantastic
What a great app for anyone in a medical job. Lots of useful reference information and formulas and all for free. Even better, the authors are open to suggestions for formulas or tools that can be added to expand the app - my suggestion will hopefully be in the next release. What a great job and a great app!
Has a bug
I wanted to like it, liked the layout. However, after I did my corrected calcium calculation, I was unable to change the units of the result and therefore the result was useless to me. Looking for a different app now.

This is a good app. I like the favourites option, and there are some really useful calculators. I've found a few problems: Snellen chart doesn't tell me how far away from the patient the phone needs to be, and doesn't give the visual acuity corresponding to each line (so is useless) There's a bug in the Ideal Weight calculator: I couldn't get it to change from kilos to pounds, and couldn't change from male to female unless doing so before entering the weight. The opioid converter gives some dubious values e.g it says that 10mg of oral morphine is equivalent to 8.3mg of oral oxycodone (The chart we commonly use where I work - Scotland -says 5mg of oxycodone). Also there's no tramadol, diamorphine or fentanyl patch. The following additions would be really useful for me: (Primary care doc) Paediatric pain score CHAD2VAS HAS BLED Strep Score for throat infection Ottowa ankle rules Keep up the good work guys!

Bug
Non permette di modificare le unità di misura nei risultati...per esempio se si può scegliere tra tre unita di misura differenti, anche cliccando sopra agli altri sopra non modificherà l'unità di misura di default,a differenza dei dati da immettere dove invece lo permette nel tastierino dei numeri. Es:nel calcio corretto per i valori di albumina,il risultato resta in mmol/l...poco utile
