What people like
- Much more versatile than the default app
- Easy to use and very accurate
- Great for basic everyday calculations
What they complain about
- Subscription cost is way too high
- Ads interrupt you constantly while working
- Keeps crashing with complex math equations
- Removed features you already paid for
Works great!
Works like a calculator should. I’ve not encountered any issues with it.
Waste of money
Stopped working completely but even before that, features were not working properly
Quite a reliable calculator with few annoying features
For regular use the free edition works fine and for more complex uses, paying is a good price to value ratio.
Subscription for calculator?!
I bought this app once. But app ask me for subscription after several time. 40$\year? Are you serious? For calc? I can pay 40$ for lifetime, but not year. Go to trash
Good calculator, annoying business model.
This calculator is a superior version of the built in apple calculator, but charging annual fee for the privilege of not being spammed with adds is frustrating. I’d gladly pay $20-$40 one time and be set for life, but I’m not subscribing to my calculator.
Used for many Years
Legit the best free calculator I’ve ever used, it has better options than the apple calculator tbh
Hi
Is to expensive for what is doing! Apple Calculator better and free! Not recommended!
Good enough
Calculator does calculator stuff
Running Porn Ads on a Calculator?!
The product is great but recently they started running ads for porn on the free version. Parents beware.
great but pop up ads??
this calculator is great and customisable, i use it instead of the built in apple one. but it recently has started giving pop up ads for the premium version every single time i open the app, even if i just switch tabs and then reopen it. this has made converting recipes, price comparison, etc very annoying and difficult. i would pay for a cheaper one-time payment (~$5 to $10) just to support the app but $50 is insane for a calculator.
5stars!!
Like all things of the app!?!????
Shady
Said it was a free 7 day trial and then charged me $26.84. shady business practices.
Phone calculator
Qik & pretty easy for my basic needs
new updated layout is awful
i’ve been using this app for YEARS on my phone since high school and now i’m 24. it was always better than the default apple app. however now the devs changed the entire layout, so you have to specifically choose which calculator you want before you start using it. you CANT just have it freely automatically open the last used one or your favorite until you pay $. one click or two clicks is a first world problem i know. but this is enshttification at work. sadly will be removing this from my phone, we had a good run.
better before
not as good now that you have to pay for features
Nice calculator
Large numbers, easy to correct, can do complex mixed math.
Took Away Premium Purchase
This used to be my favorite calculator app on the appstore. It had a lot of really nice features, and so I paid for the premium version of the app years ago. At some point, they switched to a subscription model and took away all the features I loved about the app. Can’t recommend in good conscience at this point.
Calculator +
Good app just needs to bring back the edit options so you can edit your number symbols, your color buttons and lines like it use to be
New layout is horrible
This calculator used to be great. Then the ads started. Now the layout has changed and it's pretty annoying. Makes it impossible to use. Time for a new app! Good bye and thank you from when it was the best app. Unfortunately not anymore.
Enjoy this calculator
I really enjoy this calculator. I don’t like that you have to pay for most of the extra features but I do like that it displays the values I enter
Great calc
Good calc
Used for years, now leaving
One of the updates from about a year ago absolutely ruined this app, then some of the popups and money grabs started to get walked back. Today bouncing back and forth between my checking app and this calculator Id get a pop up every single time. No more. I’m done. I kept it out of laziness since I had it for so long. I’m going back to using the default calculator app.
Loving the app
Absolutely love this app, and it’s ability to make your own calculators with your own equations, my only suggestion is being able to group the inputs with the outputs so you don’t have unnecessary inputs showing up when they're not needed for certain inputs, it would make the UI cleaner and easier to understand what input is for what output
Bug
Has anyone else noticed that the fraction calculator has TWO subtraction buttons and NO division button.
not bad but not the best
it's okay!!
Me encanta
Muy buena app, muy útil y versátil
App is now terrible
I’ve been using this as my main calculator for over 6 years now and since their update about a year ago, I lost all the things I paid for. I got the premium version in middle school and now I lost all the features I paid for initially like the custom themes and the custom arrangement of the buttons. They also changed the way copy paste works which makes it way worse. Also in some cases it does PEMDAS wrong (idek how lol). Overall, I think the team ruined the best overall calculator, and if desmos scientific calculator had slightly better UI, this app would be completely obsolete.
Better than stock Calc
Better than stock Calc
Was good, turned bad
This was a good app years ago. But now keystrokes are missed if you press too fast. They also started with ads for their own in app purchases. They even tried to make you pay for remembering what your previous calculator mode was. This happed to me, a user that has used in-app purchases. I would not recommend this app anymore.
Good
Very useful
A must have for your phone
Once you tried you will love it, cuz this one is so easy to use, and packed with so many features and functions, absolutely love it
Now timed trial, no free w/ads version
Previous version I was using was free with ads, now being forced to either buy it monthly or yearly otherwise it doesn’t work. THANKS BUT NO THANKS won’t be held ransom to pay a monthly or yearly tax to use an app.
Great
Work s well thanks
Nice
Very good
Calculating
It’s very simple and accurate and easy
Best Calculator in the App Store!!!!
So good!
No Thanks Ridiculous Price
£40 per year for a calculator, no thanks.
Well done
Excellent calculator with a lot of options
UI is buggy
UI get’s quickly to it’s limits when entering komplex math. Also it could freeze just by displaying such ones … Quite bad overall. But the first look is great. Optimized for getting sold not used!
Was better before the update.
Handy scientific calculator. The free features are enough for my use. But I liked it better before the update. Was simpler.
Great Tool
Whenever I need a quick and accurate calculation, this is my go to application!
$50/year for a calculator? These reviews are sus
$50 a year for a calculator is pathetic, a calculator is a one time purchase only. These reviews are all a little to posutive
Good app use all the time
Fab
Used to be good
The current free version is quite bothersome as the ability to open to last calculator is lost!
Works great🙌
This app has several types of calculations and is accurate and easy to use.
Now it’s useless!
I have been using this app since 2016 and now I cannot use it, and I am now being prompted to purchase a subscription. Disgusting behaviour!
Review
Rather simple and more versatile than standard iPhone cac
