Good fire information
❤️ this app, gives reliable up to date info, and because of this I feel safer with any decisions I need to be making…this app is highly recommended. Thank you.
Very glitchy
Very glitchy
Great function, small visual fixes would help
Functionally works great. Provides a critical service better than the governments own solution. I would make this 5 stars if the developer could please add iOS dark icon theme support for the main icon. Would help make the icon appear more consistent with others on my Home Screen. Thanks
App issue or DSU issue
I cannot delete watch zones. When I attempt to, I get a message saying “watch zone not deleted, try again later”.
Keeps Freezing
Great to have some visibility of fire situation, but when critically needed, the screen keeps freezing. Please bug fix or stabilise for heavy use periods.
Great!
The latest update reduced hotspot. Disappointing. I found them very helpful in checking the spread of the fire
No good
Continually freezes
Review
I wish there was more information about the fires and other emergencies.
Setting issue persisting
Settings don’t update as requested. Now a serious issue with current fires as app is unable to show Watch & Act details.
Map glitch
Was a good app, but now when you click on the maps they glitch and freeze. Not good when your trying too see where the fires are
Map is not moving smoothly across the state
There seems to be a problem with the map. With fires burning in multiple areas, it is annoying that it is difficult to move the map smoothly across the state.
Very laggy
Very laggy and can’t remove features from the map so you can scroll the the areas you need to see
Still can't delete ...
Watchzones i've previously created, this has been a long time issue, i still cant believe this has not been fixed, just how hard is it to get this right ? 🙄
Needs to be OzRunways compatible
Software needs to be updated to include kml or Kmz compatibility so it works on OzRunways. This will allow the fire location to be uploaded straight to OzRunways so fire fighting aircraft can fly direct to the fire using the aviation maps.
Pretty basic but ok
Crashes when you try and adjust the settings
absolutely amazing
10/10 would recommend paying the 2 dollars
Misinformation
This app is self generating watch zones and will not delete Further and more disturbing fires listed are often not shown on the map.
Return of a feature
I would like the distances from my location shown. If I am travelling it helps me be aware of dangers close by.
Crashing problems
used to be able to click the town weather icon and then click to get a history of the wind or temp now it just causes the app to crash. Makes the app less useful when trying to track wind changes in fire season
Firey
As a emergent responder this used to be a a 5 star app especially for fires ect. But they recently changed their data feed and now it is notification overload. My watch zone is only 15km and I get notified times every time a tree falls down and often multiple times for the one incident. After 100s It’s to the point I don’t even take notice. They need to filter the notifications or allow the end user the ability.
Amazingly informative
So easy to use. The map is very useful to spot check areas of concerns. Have used it for years!
Notification are on but it doesn’t notify me when there’s a fire 200 metres away
How do I make the notifications work when they are enabled already in settings
Rating values unclear
I don’t like the new fire danger rating- it doesn’t specifically state TFB says, and I can’t seem to find what the rating figure actually signifies 🤷♀️ We live and work in an area and industry ( agriculture) that is heavily impacted by extreme weather conditions and the ‘old’ way was an extra tool to use.
Get rid of TREE DOWN AND BUILDING DAMAGE!!
Never been on here prior don’t know why they’re on here now. They’re hardly ever an emergency. Also you need to update for FRV
Great app but has hiccup
This is a really great app. Been using it now for a long time. Clear and easy to use. Have now got an iPhone 16 and when I open it now it takes a couple of times to get the information up. Might need a little update!
Mistake on Map!
No roundabout at near where the present fire is in Albert Street, Sebastopol, Victoria. There are lights at this intersection for sometime now.
VIC Fire app
What a great app have not used it synce before Covid. Now i see ambulances go by my app turns on and tells you exactly where a fire 🔥 is and if they need assistance very quickly communicate chins go East Ringwood and the Hawks 🔥🥵😎🙏❄️
Really bad
My properties under the threat it hasn’t been updated for days and the information is sketchy at best really really bad possibly dangerous
See at a glance
No need for interpretation; information on fires intensity & progress made easy.
Very disappointed
East Gippsland currently has several bushfires burning but some site info hasn’t been updated for 3 days
Fire app
The Victorian app is by far the best in Aus with the amount of accurate and up to date information and maps.
