Seamless
Anyone who remembers the pain of paper based expense claims knows that this app is an absolute life changer: fat wallets bulging with disintegrating receipts, mislaid receipts, receipts blown away in by a sudden gust of wind, that spike on your desk that you can’t face dealing with. These are just a few of the myriad pillars in the temple of misery we are no longer obliged to enter. The relief is indescribable.
Cannot Create Expense Report
I cannot create an expense report on the app due to “special characters not allowed” error on the first page of the expense report creation tool. After looking into it, this seems to have been an issue since at least 2024. Having to create the report on the web version makes this completely useless, fix this.
Business travel
I enjoy this app for the most part. My only complaint is I’ve captured receipts and they didn’t transfer to my Concur’s report.
Mileage Problems
I wish I wouldn’t have to redownload this all the time because I have to use it for work. It works great but it consistently has issues recording my mileage expenses. It’s a pain.
Missing Favorites
The mobile app has become my go-to for uploading receipts. However, I go to the web browser to finish because I can save favorite allocations there.

Development towards degradation
The mission of the developers of this app is to continue to make the mobile and web interfaces clunky and time consuming for the user. Capturing receipt photos used to be a quick process via the mobile app. Now we are limited to 10 recipes at a time without auto capture. It is 50/50 whether or not the photos upload, the cool part is needing to exit your expense report and constant browser refreshes to confirm the upload. The developers seem to find the need to rebuild the interface every year or so to justify their existence, and it hasn’t once seemed for the better. I don’t think they understand that most users want to spend as little time as possible interacting with this software, not the other way around. This app isn’t managing the national archives or anything, it doesn’t need all the bloat. Keep it simple, do better.

Mileage tracker / flight filters
For expenses, it’s fine and works well. They don’t seem to have the mileage tracker bugs fixed. It drops trips all the time you have to check it and make sure it’s right. Not a time saver it’s a time sucker. The reset button when you are trying to book flights doesn’t work. It keeps going back to a default. Super annoying.

The AI part is annoying. It rejects for anything .

iOS Pro camera support needed
App is great, aside from the inability for it to switch to the close up camera when taking receipt pictures. It won’t focus close up, so receipt pictures have to be from far back
Used to be great…
Utter junk now. Pretty sure a core point of having an expenses app is being able to easily attach receipts, this is no longer the case. Update: August 2026 Has added the worst AI features imaginable. You can’t even send it a receipt now without having it create some nonsense claim. A disaster.

This is the worst business app that I deal with on a regular basis. Booking travel sucks, doing expense reports sucks. This app sucks

Can’t update new version .
Note to developers
Now with this recent update, when I attach a receipt to the expense, the entire expense disappears…When will there be a fix for this? These fixes are not helpful. It’s making the application difficult to use.
Refunds
Can we get a facility to expense refunds? A refund option for flights, hotels and meal charges. Where we can link it to the trip where the refund was generated. It’s so over complex creating a negative expense and having to create a fake itinerary on the day the refund occurred also having to submit all mandatory field selections as though the expense occurred rather than an event that did not occur and for which the money was credited.

Latest up date will not allow to map your mileage. It wants you to add receipt where you would normally add the directions to figure out mileage.
It only gets worse every year
Why does it take four years to scan each receipt just to mark them all ‘pending transactions’? Every year the expense feature gets less accurate and takes longer. The app is awful for any of the actual travel features.
Another glitch
Half way through a company car mileage expense, the location from and to doesn’t open. Kinda frustrating

Many times when using the app the project doesn’t save and you need to continuously add it back in
Bug in the app for years
Overall, pretty good app, but If you have two separate credit card expenses that are identical, one will often disappear the second you try to attach a receipt. You then have to go into the desktop version to find the missing expense. Reported, never fixed.
Mileage Claim
You’re not getting the option to put your mileage claim in since the new update.

I hate this app. Always have phantom errors even if you fix everything
App Update
The app is very convenient to use, especially when working away. 1 issue I’m constantly having is that the app tells me to update, which I did. Even after updating it still tells me to update, only when I visit the App Store there is no new version to download.
Broke QOL feature
At some point in time I. The past year they published an update that broke receipt upload features. Uploading more than one receipt basically fails 100% of the time and never syncs with the desktop portal. Single receipt photo uplinks more reliable but doing one at a time ends up taking ten times as long
App Not user friendly
The AI used is not very accurate and we have to repeat the same steps several times. Plus sometimes when uploading the receipts they just vanish after completing the upload. You won’t find these anywhere. I’m sure this is a bug because if you check the online platform you’ll find the lost receipts there. Still a lot of space to improve.

5 stars. I have been with Schneider electric since March of this year, and Concur has always done a great service.
Hangs forever on receipt upload
Hangs for hours on receipt upload and there is nothing you can do when this is happening. Restarting app, phone or signing off doesn’t help. Poor design and lack of testing are obvious

It’s very easy to use, but crashes every time an action is performed - making it a slow and painful process, when it really needn’t be.

Expense assistant needs work
I’ve used this for years. When it asked me to enable the expense assistant I thought it would be great. It made a mess of my claim and I spent ages fixing it. Wasted more time than it saved. The problem is my finance dept work off billing date, not transaction date. And they only include up to the 28th of the month. I like the idea of this, it just needs some configuration to account for different company rules.

App asks me to update to newer version so I try then app goes back to where it was Also app freezes when uploading receipts

Garbage
App is a piece of garbage. I just updated it and it still says I need to update. Thats just one example. I would say if it works 30% of the time, that’s generous. But I have no choice because it’s the only option I have for work.
Time zone
Does not recognise local time zones. If I submit a receipt in the morning in an Australian time zone it is rejected as being in the future. I’m not in the future, the apps servers are in the past.
Super slow app
This app is very slow and doesn’t seem user friendly. It asks really weird questions, eg when you add an expense with a receipt, it’s asking whether a receipt has been added, and then to move an expense to claim you have to answer the same questions again. And it’s terribly slow! I have to make sure I have photographs of my receipts because I can’t rely photographing them in app. Is there a plan to improve any of this?! My company started using this app and it’s been so difficult every time.
Does not stay synced
Data does not stay synced until you sign out and back in. This app is used by thousands, don’t understand why company like SAP - a software giant misses this essential function.
