Don’t do it!
Absolutely the most unbalanced game available. Outdated by a decade and never gets any new features. Fungal alliance has made it the impossible to be in any other alliance and if you don’t follow their rules they will ruin your game. The developer is also involved in how certain players get their accts reset for no reason. Avoid this game. You have been warned.
NEED UPDATING BIG TIME
This app requires a heavy overhaul in how mob works, making in game currency worth something again and giving more to do for mid game players as there aren’t any active newbies to face off against only 15 plus year old accounts that have been camping since the dawn of the game can’t even find space at airports to fly over and actuall team game play is non existent for new players who want to get involved however the base and idea is great just needs to be modernised and start creating a draw that makes people want to continue and stay.

Too many inactive players
So here’s the deal: I played this game back in its prime years back when I was a kid. I made a new account about a year ago, and am now level 86. I have about 673 mob members, while there are inactive players who have a LOT of turf and influence and have over 10,000-14,000 mob members and aren’t even active anymore and haven’t been for years. This game needs to do something about their players being inactive for long periods of time. Create a system that tracks if they’re still actively using the game, such as tracking if they are logged in anymore or not. It shouldn’t be so hard to remove someone whose turf obstructs building opportunities and they haven’t been on since 2015 and can’t be touched due to the high number of mob members that aren’t active anymore.
Great game
it’s a great game but I suggest adding more weapons and updates to bring this game back to life
Don’t bother
One of the worst “pay to win” games that I’ve seen. Unless you’re willing to spend insane amounts of money to protect yourself from high level players, all you will be is a target for them. Game is horribly imbalanced. Players that are 10 times your size can do whatever they want to you and you can’t do anything about it. I’ve even considered spending money on the game, but doing so is pointless because as soon as you do, some insanely high level player will come along and take whatever you spent money on. Don’t even bother trying. The game is so horribly imbalanced that the devs decided to force lower level players to level so that the higher levels would have something to play with. You don’t have to attack anyone. They spam attack you and you get xp so you eventually get high enough that they can take your stuff. So many people have stopped playing that if you didn’t punch codes years ago, you can never get to their level. You’re just fodder for the handful of players that were willing to spend insane amounts of money. And good luck getting support from the devs. They gave up years ago and just keep taking the money that the higher levels levels keep throwing at them.

Fun game with a cool gimmick to it but my invite to mob section got glitched so it now is only capital letters. :(
Need to make some major changes
I have been on this game for nearly 9 years, and it used to be very fun for me that is until I started finding people who care nothing about other people, except for expanding their own territory by no matter what you need to make it so that active players cannot be targeted just by someone who just wants to take them out just because they can’t go because they don’t like them or something else. Inactive players on the other hand are free game for anyone. I have considered quitting this game because I am getting tired of just losing turf over and over and over again because people just don’t seem to care about anything. but themselves they want the power of the game go to their heads. Yes, this is a war game but it’s now mainly more like it’s just a one-sided fight. Active players should be given protection to where they cannot be targeted, unless both sides agree
Good game but
I like the game but I do have a few problems with it. The loot system is totally unfair. You have the smallest chance of getting something and when you do it’s the worst thing available and barely any quantity. Another issue is the airports. The closest airport to me is almost 300 miles away. You need to add an airport in Augusta, Maine. They have one but it’s not one of the ones you can use in game. Also that would be the best spot cause Augusta is the capital of Maine. You should probably have at one airport in at least every capital of like a state.

Don’t listen too the other reviewers they probably don’t even know how to play the game is fun and is like building your own kingdom but for me is like building a cartel or mafia best game
Needs reworking
I absolutely love this game and used to play all the time. For any new players it is impossible to get ahead. Your turf will be destroyed and taken by people who have been playing for years. The mob aspect of the game just doesn’t work anymore because the player base is so low. Top players have up to 30,000+ mob size meanwhile new players would be lucky to break 200. I wish devs would rework and try to revive the game but at this point it may just be dead already.
Not a bad game
Pretty game definitely a grind and I wish there was more achievements/ accomplishments but overall its not bad. Hard to get a mob going tbh active players are rare and I wish there was a way to get rid of old players ones that are years old.

Fix the blocked airports!!!
Just realizing that my nearest airport is inaccessible, spammed with turfs from one mob. I was making my way towards that airport for the past couple months and I guess I wasted my time. How is that fair to newer players? I just want to be able to travel to farther locations but I literally don’t have that option.
Not a great game but good with potential
Lack of updates with with engaging content like new equipment or new airports or events. The last one was for Brens Guns that required the possession of a rare drop(what ever…. Not a huge deal) but since then then(maybe 6 months) the only other event was a cash money encouraged event that didn’t increase the cost of turfs regardless of how many you bought with in a 24hour period. If you haven’t been playing for a long long long time it’s hard(not impossible) to get a large enough mob to challenge most of the larger players in large cities. After a few months I have reached about 1000 mob members and can hold my own in most of the back water towns. Overall worth playing if your ok with playing the long game.

Great premise. Extremely slow progression, almost non existent sadly.

This game can be played at any level but to play on a competitive level one must sink money into it.Tactics and strategy and diplomacy along with invested time win the day.The community is largely helpful with some great characters,but also hosts a number of unscrupulous players who think nothing of employing base insults,personal,racist,homophobic and otherwise. Most games tend to these days,I’m afraid, and this game is no different. Update of May,2020.Support do not respond to queries or complaints which leaves a lot to be desired.A frustrating game which is a pity considering that it has many good qualities and they being from many in the TW community.

turf wars today?
This game was good 10+ years ago. The location based has been added but the core remains the same. You still have to buy multiple weapons to get stronger. The strongest always survives. The weaker players will stay weak and then eventually leave. It’s a quirky location as well.

More airports need to be added for sure. There’s not a single one for Maine, the closest one is Boston and there’s no way I’m turf hopping all the way to Boston. Other than that it’s great

Mobbing up Is hard work but It’s a huge part of the game. Expanding your turf takes time but Is just really addicting going city to city taking over turf and becoming capo. Don’t be fooled by the bad reviews.. those are just people who played once and were too lazy to play, cheated and got banned, didn’t understand how to play, or were too paranoid with a GPS based game. Just try It. Go to the forums and get help and you’ll do fine 👍🏻 recommend Turf Wars 100%. Playing since 2011, fun and enjoyable even now. Recommend !!! It does take work. But after a few loot events and following the Dunn Guide, listening to advice.. you will have a good account to have lots of fun. You do NOT need to be over 40k mob. Add MRROBOT
Terrible game
This game is terrible the developer is some nerd living in his moms basement who gets mad when anyone gets better than him or his friends and he will ban you, save yourself the time in this dying game and play something actually good.
Good game but can be even better
This game is great. I’ve played it for a couple of months now and I’ve been fairly enjoying it. However, some rules are simply unneeded. For example, if you wish to conquer turf you have to have 10% of your opponents total influence. This has been the hardest obstacle for me to overcome ever since I downloaded this game. I haven’t able to conquer a single turf yet other than the ones that I’ve claimed in the map. Moreover, I wish that there would be an in-depth explanation of the mob in the market for example when you want to buy weapons. I bought all these weapons and now, due to the lack of mop, I can’t use all of them in battle.Speaking of mom, I wish there was a better way to earn free mop. It doesn’t make sense that you can actually buy them. If I had known this sooner, I would’ve bought way less weapons than I should’ve. I am also experiencing an issue when trying to fetch Google or tap joy ads. It keeps showing error messages after I tap the video to watch for a few respect points. Again, great game, but can be improved.
Devs too greedy
Is a good game if you want to spend 100s of real$$$ to win. The developers just got too greedy and are concentrating on a minority of fools who think paying to win is cool

There are like 10 people who play this ancient game and they’re all old and not fun. I don’t know why this is even available for download anymore. Total garbage.
Throw back
This type of games I enjoy. Yes it gets boring after a while but I still come back to it. This reminds me of racing live, world war, I monsters, etc. The games from storm8. There is a few things to fix but overall it’s good.

I have started playing the game since July and it has been going great. The game should start advertising on other games or apps for a revival since most turfs are inactive and make some changes Or just make a Turf Wars 2 but with the same concept and some changes and polishing, kind of like Overwatch 2.
Playing Since 2013, Banned Indiscriminately
I drove down to Eugene for the birth of my son and decided to pass the time, came back home two days later and thought nothing of it. I did nothing un-ordinary, running missions and punching temp codes. Next morning I am banned with no reason to attribute to why. Support is quiet as a mouse, what a joke. It’s about time someone made a competitor to this unfairly managed game.
Today’s Sale
I’ve been playing this game for a few years but I never saw anything like what’s going on today when increasing your turf limit doesn’t increase the cost to further increase your turf limit. I’ve thought for a while that it’s a pretty dumb game mechanic to increase the cost every time you buy anything, but if there are going to be sales I guess it’s fine. Is this a new thing? Or does this game need to do a better job of notifying players that this kind of thing is happening? I will happily support the game some more of this happens more regularly and I have a way of finding out about it. Like a push notification. Which literally no other app is shy about taking advantage of.

I’ve played this game on and off recently coming back after a couple years cappoed ludlow mass for 7 years along with 3 rivers recently took ludlow back again now that I’m back overall I’m enjoying my experience it took slot of numbers to figure out how everything works I just wish we got some updates or at least a discord for update ideas
Banned for no reason
My boyfriend invites me to play this game from his childhood, we have a lot of fun driving around playing in addition to our regular pokemon go routine. Two weeks into playing, only level 10 or something, and the game bans me. It also banned my boyfriend’s account, which he’d had since he was like 12. The ban told me to contact support if there had been an error, so I did… but never heard back. Either we got false reported as my boyfriend had a lot of turf, or the game has a horrific spam flagging system.
