What people like
- It is genuinely funny and fun to use
- Easy to make quick jokes for friends
- Lots of creative options if it works
What they complain about
- Updates break the app or remove features
- You keep getting charged for things you own
- Photos show ghosting or ugly background layers
- Ads interrupt you even after paying
The best photoshop app
I have used this app for 10 years and it has helped me create a lot of funny content.
Videos are missing
I paid for the videos and they are nowhere to be found
Not all my purchases are being credited
I’m not getting all the photos I purchased even tho it says the video sample was saved I bet I spent $$$ extra. Keith
Issues
Started with 5 star review but now app is showing background of photos used for custom faces unsure why suddenly this is happening
Ghost image in background
All of a sudden the face used has a ghost image of the whole second photo
Baby boys
I love FACDinHOLE. I spend hours making faces and sending the to friends! Patrick
This app SUCKS NOW
The overlay is absolute trash now. Don’t purchase this app

non funziona più
Con il nuovo aggiornamento ad ios non funziona più la personalizzazione delle immagini.Peccato

Try
Best 99 cent app…
I’ve ever purchased.
Close, but not quite
I’m not a fan of when I try to add the face instead of blurring out the background you can still see it in the picture totally ruining the point of making an oval just for the face
Fun app
Works for a quick joke of funny pic.
Not worth 2.99
Editing is terrible, nothing fits correctly.
No scenarios available uninstalled
Assuming they are no longer trading
Web Version PLEASE
FaceInHole user and fan for 10+ years. The app version is horrible. The web version was remarkable, useful and the best. Now, it’s the App only for “create your own.” Not usable at all.
Your app is terrible
Limiting the "create your own" feature from your website was a terrible decision.. to make a few dollars on your app you killed your best feature..this app is hard to navigate and the results are awful.. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Face
A lot of fun
No longer works correctly
I’ve used this app for years. But for some reason, when I go to use the erase option to add a hole, the entire image gets erased. Until now I never had any issues with this app. I’ve had a look online for a fix, but can’t find one. It’s a real shame because I loved the app so decided to buy the pro version. I prefer to add my own holes using the erase option for better pictures.
Move the Slider
It’s a brilliant app but the slider to adjust saturation, hue etc. is right at the bottom of the screen so it’s pretty much impossible to use on the newer iPhones (you end up just quitting the app)! Hugely frustrating. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

IOS17 APP DOESN’T WORK
Every since I updated my iPhone to IOS17 The app hasn’t worked properly. Any plan to fix this ??
Good
It’s good
Pancho450”
And it’s suddenly stopped loading. 🤷♂️
It’s really cool
But ... hard to crop. If the original pics were larger would be easier. But it’s a fun app.
Great app
Fun app - easy to use
Useless app
Broken layers view after update and now it’s a useless app
Not bad with there was more
Not bad i like wish for more flexability but still my goto app for pic face in the hole
Hmmmm could be better
Unless you were born with no chin- and an abnormal shaped head it’s gonna be virtually impossible to pose for any of the images the app provides. So what should be a hit of a phone turns into an horrific nightmare of neck pain and self as self harm as you start to hack away at your own flesh just so you can have cheeks that fit in the ridiculously small hole. I am an expert and putting my head in tight holes and I tell you what, apart from the odd smell now and again I’ve never had such an ordeal as I had with this app.
WiFi only?
Title says it all, why can’t this app work on 4G connection
Great app
Works great
Not working properly anymore
I am not sure if it is because I am using an iPhone 17 Pro or what it is but this app isn’t working properly anymore. It used to be PERFECT, but now when I insert an image into the hole, you can see the entire image semi-transparently over the image, like two images meshed together which defeats the whole purpose!
Fun
Fun with lots of options
Solo fotos
Te venden la app y además te venden los videos, solo puedes poner caras a las fotos y los gift van en otra app. Se entiende al comprar la app que vienen incluidos los videos para sobre poner las caras
Getting used to it
New version doesn't allow a square crop for the custom pictures. Wish this could be included.
Me
Great for fun
No updates and doesn’t work anymore
Used to be awesome , now photos show layers etc. no updates for new os
Lol
I love this app. I'm laughing so hard.
Perche ora a pagamento
Avevo già pagato l'abilitazione per creare la forma del viso, con l'aggiornamento ho perso tutto quello che avevo pagato
Why the ads
I paid for the app and still get ads.
Ms. Dreamy
Top of the list!
Needs an update.
Totally useless now. Has a ghosting problem
Sweet App
Faceinhole is an awesome app but could use a section with more adult oriented photos...also, they should make it so that we can draw our own outline instead of stretching the circle with those 5 dots
Expansion Pack Won't Download
The app works fine, but I only have it to access the expansion pack to use my own photos... I've tried deleting and reinstalling several times, and it won't download.
Like the idea!
I like the idea of this app. Wish it was a lot more kid-friendly. My kids want to use it, but there are some images that I'd rather they didn't see.
App
App has been not working
Awful!!!!
Used for years, new update makes it useless!!!!
Great app
Awesome! So much fun! I never looked better!
habia adquirido el paquete para editar mis propias fotos
y ahora resulta que la tengo que comprar de nuevo que mugrero
It's okay
It generally does what it says. It's really slow, though.
