What people like
- Totally free and saves you money.
- Great for solving puzzle and multi caches.
- Works perfectly without a wireless connection.
What they complain about
- Hard to figure out if you are new.
- Only accepts whole numbers for inputs sometimes.
- Does not work well on newer iOS versions.
Excellent GPS App
Has many of the features that geocachers want in the field. Very easy to use.
Kann mich nicht anmelden.
Das App. Funktioniert nicht. Angemeldet bin ich aber Login geht nicht! Dafür bezahlt man noch!
Tolle App
Sehr hilfreich
TextCalc
It’s calculating wrong with the Swedish letters Å, Ä, Ö. It’s not calculating with Å. That have the result that Ä and Ö have wrong values. Å have the value of 0 (zero), Ä = 27, Ö = 28. It should be Å, Ä, Ö = 27, 28, 29.
Stable
Super simple to get bearings and distances. Have had this for a little while and haven’t explored the other features, but it’s worth it to me just for the simple projection capability.
Don't upgrade to iOS 6.0
Works great on iOS < 6.0 . Google Maps gone on iOS6 Now can only see cache location, can not see my current location.

Great App
Does what it says. Easy to use. Hid my first cache today thanks to this app!
Keinen mehrwert
App. Bietet keinen Mehrwert.
Utilitarian
Has some features good for puzzle caches. Would be nice if user would just paste coordinate result into field rather than fill multiple fields one by one. Also doesnt "resume" cleanly when switching between apps. Anyway, keep in on the phone for those times when you're racking your brain trying to work out text puzzles or converting coordinates or adding a direction and distance to existing coordinates.
Keine Weiterentwicklung
Good but not great
A lot of helpful calculations, but some inputs only available in limited metrics, and to a less than desired accuracy at times. Still much better than pen and paper out in the field.
Useful Tool
Small price for the convenience of having needed info in your pocket when out searching for caches.
Really not sure ...
I downloaded this app over a year ago, hoping it would help solve multis, substituting numbers for letters. But no. Cant figure out ANY use for this app. It's rare to have to switch between decimals & minutes/seconds, so that's useless. I know my roman numerals, so that's pointless. Frankly the app us pointless and useless, unless I'm seriously missing something (in which case it still deserves one star for being non-intuitive). Don't bother.
Fast Perfekt!
Nice little app.
It code use more decoding tools to be complete? Maybe some base math options, and morse decoder. Nice little app though... For the price. ;)
For the price it's a bargain
Downloaded this app yesterday and used it two of its functions this morning to help with finding one multi and one puzzle cache. It performed very well. Given our love of puzzle caches I can see this app will be well used, and seeing it's free that adds up to five stars in my book.
Can be helpful
I wasn't sure if I would use this but it has made it easy to solve some puzzles and compute a few projections. Could use more functions but it's great for the price! You don't always need it, but when you do, it's there.
Thanks but no thanks
Liked the interface for Waypoint Calculations. Need to work with nautical miles, not feet and meters. No use for the other applets, rather have more comprehensve Wpt functions as a stand alone app. DELETED, Thanks for the effort.
3 stars may be low
3 stars may be slightly low, because I'm new to this. To me, it is a little hard to get to know, but it is stable, and as far as I can tell it delivers what is promised. If I ever figure it out better I'll come back to revise this. Good luck.
Indispensable!
I'm new at geocaching, use this in conjunction with the paid geocaching app, it does take some getting used to, is wonderful for city use; i love the compass section but would like to get to it on its own. Amazing it can be used on iPod Touch without a wireless connection.
Gut

Neat app. My geo partner used it to solve a Multi and then I decided to put the app on my iPod touch.
Excellent App!
This is a great supplimental app for geocachers who use the geocaching app. This will help you solve multicaches as well as puzzle caches. Extremely valuable, especially when you are out in the woods.
Wish list item...
This is a great little app, but would like to have the ability to enter (or view) DECIMAL degrees or distances (i.e., xxx.xxx) into bearing or distance input boxes instead of just whole numbers (applies to "Project new waypoint", "Distance and Bearing", "Intersect 2 lines", and "Intersect 2 circles"), and also to choose distances OTHER THAN just meters (miles and/or feet). Other than that, nice utility to have in the field.
Nice App
It does what it says it will, but it would be nice for it to tell you the bearing and distance to the coordinates you enter from your current location as your on the move not just from a starting point.
Great
A great app for geocaching. Does everything as advertised. I would have paid for this, thanks for a great app!
Buena app
Me pareció muy buena aplicación. Gracias
I love this App!
It has saved me many many times while out caching! Now that I can do projections in feet, I have one less step and is MUCH easier. Thanks for a fantastic FREE product I would have paid for!
Great app!
All this needs is the ability to actually look up caches and it could replace my GPS!
Great!!
A wonderful time saver!!!
Might be useful
Not bad
