What people like
- Best app for route planning
- Very accurate location tracking
- Easy to find lodgings nearby
- Shows detours from main roads
What they complain about
- Needs internet or glitches offline
- GPS track fails sometimes
- Accommodation data needs updating
GPS Helpful
I found the gps component in this app very helpful. Sometimes the trail is hard to follow.
Mediocre
glitches
good app but the app has a lot of glitches
Mostly great
This app is mostly fantastic for navigation. The maps are good, it’s reasonably straightforward to use, it just has one fatal flaw: as far as I can tell you need to be online for it to work. That’s not always possible on the Camino, especially remote ones which is when I’m likely to use this (like I am right now on the Invierno).
Imprescindible
Gracias.

Must download
We purchased a trip using the costal route through an agency. I wish they would have given us this map in the beginning! We ran into some other people on the Camino who told us about Gronze. This made our trip soooo much better. We never had to worry about getting lost. Two times we would have taken a wrong turn and not realized it. If you’re doing the Camino this map is as important a good shoes.
It works brilliantly
I have used several different apps over the years and this is by far my favourite. Like most people on the Camino apps are useful for planning your daily route looking ahead for accommodation and tracking your current location. I find Gronze to be the most accurate for mapping my exact location and I find the level of detail in the maps great. Like other pilgrims I do have other apps on my phone to cross reference if need be. But Gronze is my default and if I was only allowed one it would definitely be Gronze.
Bon outil
appli qui m’a vraiment aidé à planifier mon Compostelle.
.
Goated app🥶🥶🥶🥶🙏🙏🙏🙏‼️‼️
