I recently bought a pack from the online store. Money came out of my account but never received the credits. Sent email receipt to support and all I got was is this resolved yet. Very disappointed in this game.
Love the game, not the choice generator
Fun AF, but I don’t much care for the method used to generate play choices. Seems too structured at times to be “random”.

I actually like this game a lot and have spent some money which turns off “forced” ads. The problem is you still have to watch ads to get further into the game. I would happily give this game more money, but you have to watch the ads to get extra rewards prizes. Those extra rewards are helpful and a player shouldn’t have to pay anything for them. We should just receive the rewards and move up in the game. Sorry developers… you are losing money here because of the ads. Once you start making money from fans of the game, it’s time to lose the ads.
Fun but the events are pretty lame and very expensive
For the base game it’s got solid tower defense gameplay. Haven’t seen the release of any new heroes, towers, skills, or parts (attachments for towers) since I started playing. Just the same rotation of weekly events for 4+ months straight with very poor rewards from ranked gameplay. Only the top 3 players are rewarded in any meaningful way and it’s not actually that meaningful. I say this as someone who has completed all achievements and ranked 1st-3rd in most events.

No base building or side quests just fight and upgrade

Game is fun for a little bit, but eventually it gets very boring. Unless you want to spend a ton of money you will never win any event or get strong enough to beat levels down the road. Save yourself time and do not download this game.

Game ruined
After a few weeks of playing, I was loving this game until the new update now forces you to watch ads just to keep playing. Ads are long and frustrating when you’re trying to focus on main gameplay. Too bad

Game starts off okay, options to watch commercials to get free items. Commercials are predatory on pop ups and small hit box to close. Then on day 3 for me, commercials started automatically popping up during game play every 10 levels. Deleted immediately afterwards, no use having a commercial app on my phone, i was looking for a tower defense game, not a for ed advertisement!
Good game, bad adverts!
Absolutely brilliant wee game but oh those adverts!!!! I accept adverts during games but the ramp up in the amount of adverts (and the length of them!), recently is really putting me off, its absolutely ridiculous
Just like every game out there
The game is fun, the concept of it is fun. However, just like every other game out there it’s riddled with ads, have to close 3 just to start playing EVERY time you open the app. The game starts off easy like most then you progress and eventually reach a point your upgrades don’t mean anything and you get stuck taking forever to save up gems and gold to buy upgrades in game without actually spending money. So if you start paying for things you’ll move up quickly. If you’re a casual player playing for fun, you’ll get bored and eventually stop playing. Of course it’s always about paying to progress.
Lots of fun but way to many ads
Just like many other players, I too am sick of the ads. Initially there are no ads, sucking you in the loving and learning the game. However after you reach a certain level, the ads become increasingly annoying. They pop up in the middle of gameplay nearly causing me to throw my phone across the room. The game is addictive, but the when there’s more ads than gameplay I turn it off and play something else.

This game won’t run without an internet connection, and then every time you turn around, it runs a multi minute ad you can’t interrupt. It makes the game completely unplayable, which is too bad because I like it otherwise.

Forced ads mid level
Game was fun but forced ads have ruined it. It has the normal watch an ad get a perk mechanic but all of a sudden there are ads mid level that ruin play.

Adds are annoying and way to much focus on pay to play options, separate passes for most events. If you don’t mind just playing and not competing against others game play is a good tower defence with the challenge onnot knowing what options are coming

You can’t even get through one game without the constant spamming of ads.

This is a fun little game for a week or two (until you can’t stand the adverts any more), with just about enough variety and progression. I get that there will be ads unless and until I pay to remove them, but have a bit of decency in who you accept ads from - bombarding us with ads from fraudulent scammers like Testerup makes game developers complicit in their scams.

Becoming tedious
I have had this game for a long time now. I enjoy it mostly and keep coming back to it. But I keep going off it and having long periods where I don’t play because it’s become so tedious to progress after a point. Having to replay over and over because it keeps giving you unhelpful options to be able to properly defend the base. Trying to force you into spending gems to continue. Taking absolutely ages to be able to upgrade everything too. Puts you off when it’s not fun

first of all i give it one star because of way too many ads also while i was playing its cuts into ads ugh !! its way waste of time. unless you pay to ads free honestly it is fun to play i give it two star rating out of fives.
Pay to Progress
I would give 5 stars if you didn’t have to literally pay to progress. Every event, there seems to be like a battle pass attached to it. While it’s already has multiple separate ones for each different modes within the game. Ridiculous. Also, special cards are only obtainable through events. And unless you pay, it’s going to be an extremely long while before you can upgrade and use them. I can live with £4.99 for this and that. But £16 to £49 for events is diabolical. Could be a great game if it weren’t for its greed :).

Fun at first, just another rigged slot machine
It was fun for a couple of levels. Now I see it is just another rigged slot machine. This is a tower defense game that stops offering you towers at all about halfway through the level, so that you either pay for refreshed choices, or have to pay to strengthen your towers, buy heros/buffs (for $30+ LOL), etc. Truly just another pay to win cash grab. The ads don’t work which requires you to use gems (surely the devs don’t mind this at all…). Also, it’s clear that there are balance issues with which towers/items are offered upon leveling up. Almost like the game doesn’t WANT you to pass levels - games lately, in 20-40 level-ups, will completely stop offering towers at all, preventing any additional damage possible. Or, certain tower types are just never offered. For instance, just played several rounds of 20-40 upgrades (3 items per upgrade), and never had 2 of the 6 equipped items offered at all.

Get Your Wallet Out — 2 Stars Arcane Arena has the potential to be a 5-star game. The graphics are good, the concept is great, and the gameplay itself is genuinely fun. Unfortunately, the matchmaking and monetization completely ruin it for me. This is supposed to be a multiplayer game with AI filling in when there aren’t enough players. The problem is that I’m constantly matched against players who are hundreds of points ahead of me, with stronger towers, better upgrades, and significantly more powerful setups. That’s not a fair match. I’ve also had games where I’m clearly winning, only for the enemy’s strongest units to suddenly walk straight through my defenses like my towers barely exist. When that happens repeatedly, it doesn’t feel like strategy anymore—it feels designed to frustrate you into spending money. And that’s where the biggest problem comes in. You can spend money upgrading your towers, your main tower, your weapons, cards, and practically everything else. The longer you play, the more it feels like the game is pushing you toward “Get your wallet out” instead of rewarding strategy and skill. I don’t have a problem with a game making money. That’s how games survive. But players should be able to win because they made better strategic decisions—not because they spent more money. I’ve literally gone 23 losses in 28 games. Nobody should be losing 23 games in a row in a game where strategy and matchmaking are supposed to matter. And being able to purchase additional cards during a match to gain an advantage makes it even worse. The whole point should be building your strategy before the match and executing it—not buying your way out of a bad position while you’re playing. Fix the matchmaking. Make the matches actually competitive. Stop making upgrades feel necessary just to have a chance. Let strategy determine the winner. Do that, and I’d happily give Arcane Arena 5 stars. As it stands, I’m giving it 2 stars and I’m probably done playing. If you’re looking for a game where you can play competitively without constantly feeling pressured to spend money just to keep advancing, I’d look elsewhere. If you don’t mind opening your wallet every time you get frustrated, though… this might be the game for you.

Really good game with plenty to do the and is very active game with lots of players really good but takes time to build up hero’s and towers and work your way through campaign if you don’t want to pay to play

Great game can be a bit grindy for free to play player but the main thing is the game is clearly pay to win in most events you can’t even get decent rewards due to the event being to short or such as the spin event you can’t even get the chest reward you can only get up to 8 whereas the a chest reward is at ten also you should take buying boosters for gems out of events to give us a chance to actually get onto the leaderboards because we have to save those for heroes or chests to be able to carry on the game all I ask is to make the game a bit more friendly for free to play players🙂

Enjoy playing the game now and then but it’s very money oriented, wants you to purchase things on every angle and getting tiresome, could be so much better if it was a one of price to have free access
Adverts ruin this
Great little game… but the ads are sinister in volume and content. And it’s just getting worse as the game gets better! Forced to watch 2 or 3 ads every minute or two… adds can be repetitive, in a foreign language and worryingly, hard core porn ads. And the prices at its online shop are ridiculously pricey… which is a shame as it’s a great game ruined by greedy dodgy behaviour.

Went south.
Game was fun when I first played it until the grind became too much. Don’t mind grinding, but sheesh. Now I went to download again and even the reviews say it’s gotten worse. Very sad for what was a great game.
Forced Ads
I really liked this game, until I kept getting fed ads during gameplay! Seriously? The game has its issues but I could put up with them because overall it’s a decent tower defence game… but those ads. Man! I’ve just deleted out of principle and will now DL Bloons or similar.
