Super Helpful
I would buy this twice if I needed to. This app has helped me immensely during my SHRM-SCP prep. Worth every penny!
Scam
The app states that there is a 7-day free trial, but I was charged AED 40. I would like to understand why I was charged during the trial period and request a refund if this charge was made by mistake.
HR Study
Just got the app, extremely happy that there is a study guide on the App Store. I have the books and flashcards, but this is great for on the go or if I’m waiting somewhere like a doctor’s office. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, so I do not know if it is all that good.
Not very relevant
I failed the SHRM SCP test today. I worked diligently using this app and 2 other books to help prepare. I took over 13 tests and got all questions correct that I came across (after initially getting some incorrect). For the actual test, I felt very few of these questions were relevant and helpful. I am disappointed with this purchase.
Mistakes on Quizzes
The quizzes sometimes give the wrong answer as the right answer. Also, there are unrealistic questions on the tests… questions that reference specific obscure Acts and laws that the real test won’t ask us by name.
Worth it!!
I primarily used this app for a few weeks prior to my SHRM SCP exam and I passed. Highly recommend this. Being able to go back through your incorrect answers, being able to take multiple tests, and even the question of the day kept me motivated and focused. The Stats feature was super helpful too to see how my studying was trending.
I failed the SHRM-SCP
The app had me at a 99% ready score with a 89% “excellent” answering accuracy and a 91% “test completed”. I went today to take the test and failed miserably. Nothing from this app was on the test. I didn’t know about 80% of the test questions. The apps questioning is not relevant to the test AT ALL! Don’t be like me and use this app and then fail. I also had a study book that I used a little and I also used ChatGPT which was almost the exact same as this app. I’m not sure what the best study material is but it’s not this app!
Hmmm
I notice that on some of the questions, the app uses different words to describe a concept than SHRM does. That is a little confusing.

Not a lot of study material for the price
Amazing App
This app is super helpful for anyone who has had HR-adjacent tasks in their role throughout their career who is looking to transition into a full HR role. The study tests are designed to help you understand the material and provide real-world examples. I like the app!
review
Riddled with typos and mistakes, seems AI generated. Some questions don’t make sense.
Not too bad
The questions so far are ok. I do see repeat questions often though.
CHRO review of exam prep
This app has value but there are many errors in the tests and responses. Information appears to be stale as well. Your exam prep tool should be reviewed by a certified HR professional with at least 20 years of business and leadership experience. I have 35 years of HR leadership experience with most recent role: CHRO. I have been certified since 1999 with both my SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications expired in 2024. I am in the process of certifying by exam in June 2025. I would recommend utilization of tools available from HR Jetpack.
Prep is hard
Great questions!! Challenging strategy questions.
App stopped working
This is my 2nd review. The first was 4 stars due to lack of new questions. Now I’m rating in 1 star because my Take a Test button is grayed out and I can’t take any more tests. I reached out to through Contact Me on March 10th and received a response requesting additional information. I provided the information but have never heard back. I even followed up via email and completed another request. Crickets. I’m so disappointed. Now I have to find another way to study. $89 down the drain.
It would be great if they would link across devices
Overall this is a great app but I do wish that it would link across devices so I could pick up where I left off.
Not tracking my progress
3 stars
Worth every penny / I passed my exam
I can confidently say this app helped tremendously with my exam prep. I also took a training course, but this app was a huge part of helping me feel prepared and confident going into the exam. I used it whenever I had downtime — waiting in line, at red lights, even at the salon. The convenience and practice questions really made a difference. I took the exam today and passed! I would definitely recommend this app to anyone preparing for the SHRM-CP exam.
Way harder than need be
I just got done doing my SHRM exam and this prep is way harder than the actual exam. Don’t give yourself the added stress.
SHRM test
I passed my test and think this app was very helpful
Great App!
One thing I suggest is making the number of questions and progress through them more accessible, similar to Pocket Prep's stat page, to help with motivation and make progress more visible.
Do NOT purchase!
There was absolutely nothing in this app that helped me with my exam today. None of the scenarios or questions aligned with today’s exam.
Passed!
This app is so great! Made it easy to study and taught me a lot - I hugely contribute it to my passing score. One bone I have to pick is that the Stat option gave me so much confidence about my preparedness, and all the sudden it went from 99% ready to 70% within 5 minutes and one test (that I did well on). Was frustrating, but overall a great app!
Passed with this help!
Great tool
Not recommended
Only have 400+ questions, and some answers are wrong. Not recommended
Great way to study!
This app was a great way for me to study up for the exam. Being busy and on the move, I am able to set aside some time everyday to do a question of the day or a 10 question quiz. I also love that it tracks your time spend on each quiz and saves the questions you got wrong to go back to later.
Make it free
Make it free! Great up for those of us that are a little rusty.
Don’t waste your $
This app never cites it’s questions or answers. It asserts theories as ‘facts,’ and provides vague explanations. I had a stellar prep app for my LMSW and figured for this outrageous price it would be comparable, but I was wrong. Just use free flash cards online and have AI explain to you anything you don’t understand. Unless of course, the test turns out to be of similar caliber, which would be tragic. I suppose I will let you all know after I test if the extra $100 taken from my food fund during a gov shutdown was worth it….
Great prep tool
helped learn how questions would be worded, how SHRM prioritizes and kept me motivated
Not what you want to use for SCP
This is probably a great tool for CP but not the tool for SCP. It didn’t help me with the test at all
Great tool
This tool is very helpful to build upon knowledge and BASK in preparation for the SHRM CP/SCP
SHRM CP
These questions did not reflect any ofthe questions on the exam I took.
