An excellent game, despite some issues
I was already a fan of Yuru Camp when I chose to download this game. The game definitely has it’s issues: the tutorial cannot be completed, camping can be a little confusing, and the check in feature being locked to Japan only is a bit of a letdown. However, despite these issues, this is a genuinely fun experience. Once you get ahold of the camping mechanics, it becomes quite fun, plus it’s well animated, and all the charm of the original anime and manga is preserved here. Plus, the gacha system is one of the better ones out there, making it much easier to acquire SR Costumes and Cards than other games of its kind would allow. All in all, I do recommend this game, and I hope more improvements are on the way to make this game even better.

Potential
This game is amazing when it works. It reminds me a tiny bit of animal crossing but you don’t have to put in as much work which I really like. The only downside is it’s constantly crashing like every 20 mins and I have a newer iPhone. It’s also poorly translated here and there, some things don’t even get translated. I can’t view my collection without it crashing and every time it does crash, it resets the “new” tags. In the campsite even if the “new” item is placed it still shows up as new. Did I mention it crashes a lot. Camping takes like 30 mins and it’s not explained well partially because the translation. They definitely phoned some parts in though and it’s infuriating to see the potential this game has squandered for whatever reason(s). I hope this game will last but I’m worried that because of this mess of a release pushed a lot of people away from a potentially great game and now it’s hindered instead. Get it together.

i love the game, it’s pretty fun. But… the tutorial is scary long
Even after the two month maintenance…
Despite taking two months for maintenance to improve the game, not only did they not fix the core problems with it (the bugs, crashes, soft locks, and more) and the lack of communication with what impacts ranks & the scores for the main camping mode & PvP; but they somehow made the game worse after the update by putting skipping behind grinding/getting a high rank and the boring new training camp mode.
Cute and chill but Loading being stuck
Seen this on Facebook and thought it would be nice to have a nice chill and relaxing game. Cute looking series that’s based around camping, love. Clean and great visuals. But after an episode I have to close and reopen the game because it just gets stuck on loading. Seen someone else with the same issue. Would love to play more but the loading screen is what’s holding this game back.
Nice but theres still some bugs
I’m glad you fixed the bugs where user view the next chapter story, but I also experience some bugs where I decide to clear camp after 10+ minutes playing the game, I got kicked out. I’m using ip13 and have not experience issues with any other games so I think this is not due to my phone capacity.
When does the game start?
I tried to play this game for almost an hour and it’s just tutorial after tutorial after tutorial. Even when you finally see the “skip tutorial” option appear, it just takes you to a different part of the tutorial, and then there are pop ups and more pop ups and then more tutorial. You never seem to get to actually play the game. What a waste of time.
Bug?
I love this game truly but after a cut scene I would be taken to a loading screen and no matter how long I wait it stays on the loading screen so I would have to close then reopen the game to continue the story.

While the games aesthetic is cute and fun, you’re better off watching the anime. That’s all it is, it’s literally making you relive the anime and making you do Gacha pulls in the process. I can’t do what I want when I want, and unfortunately my phones battery starts raising the white flag almost an hour in. Genshin Impact does a better job at ensuring your phone won’t start cooking eggs almost right away, but boy does this game give you trouble. I played for literally a full hour before I got bored and said, “Alright. I’m just gonna boot up Crunchyroll.”
Cute but glitchy
App locks up (freezes) or crashes a lot. I haven’t even finished the tutorial yet and have experienced lock ups more than 10 times. Aside from that the app looks cute and the voice acting is very good. The story and characters seem interesting. Would like to be able to play but until these bugs get fixed, I don’t think I’ll be able to.
Chill, Fun Game! Just needs optimization
Currently, I’m having a blast. It reminds me a lot of the Pocket AC game from a while ago, just Yuru Camp. There is some problems with optimization, but it seems the devs are ontop of it with constant updates with the most recent one adding a skip tutorial feature

I absolutely adore the game but every time once the games exits out from a cutscene the game will just be stuck on the white loading screen till I close and reopen the app. It’s an enjoyable game but it does take me out of the moment every time
Fun, but buggy
Once you get into the swing of things, it can be pretty fun, but I do have some complaints: - The tutorial is very long, and it doesn’t teach the gameplay loop very well. It took me a bit after it finished to really understand the camping sequences and how the other elements of the game tie into them. - The game crashes and hangs quite a bit, particularly on loading screens and on the Summer Gacha. I have to force close the app between story sections because of it. EDIT: Latest updates make the game buggier and even more prone to crashing. - The translation is spotty. It’s understandable, but there are parts of the game left untranslated, some spots where certain phrases are translated incorrectly/are translated in a way that uses confusing phrasing (this is especially noticeable with camping skills), or translation notes left in that shouldn’t be visible. It feels like a rushed machine translation, which is serviceable but not great. If there were some more polish and QC put into it, it wouldn’t be an issue. Be warned that this is also a Gacha game. The monetization practices are inherently predatory and those that are prone to impulsively spending on Gacha (especially kids and teenagers) should stay away from it. That said, the game itself is still fine without participating in paid Gacha. After playing it a few days, it has failed to really grab me, though, so I probably won’t play it longer than a week or two. Just watch the anime.
i hate tutorials
the game is fun to play around on and is soothing and the chibi characters are wonderful…however the “guided tutorial” or “forced tutorial” is really annoying because its slow and painstaking for people who just want to play things and figure it out for themselves … i quit two times just because i was fed up with the tutorial and came back both times to finish it… i have the attention span of a rodent at times so dealing with so much tutorial is just a bore

I love laid back camp so much but this has launched as a blatant cash grab. It’s literally riding off the IP I haven’t seen any advertising + localization is painful. To start your story segments you’ll see things like “ quick restart “ as your start story button. Not to mention the painfully LONNNNG tutorial. If it was a complicated game sure but it’s just click here > go there > come back here and it just holds your hand and slows you dooowwnnn. I was forcing myself to see it through incase the camp started to feel better only for my love of the franchise BUTTT ; every now an then you’ll get stuck on these infinite loading screens. Combine all of that = depression in an app. This could of been a great pocket camp style game but it’s missing all the polish.

Tutorial WAAAYY Too Long
I might be able to give a proper review after I actually finish the tutorial. The tutorial does not have to be this long, and if it absolutely MUST be the at the very least don’t lock players out of every other option on the screen so they’ll be forced to press 1 button. I understand you want to make the tutorial run exactly as the anime did (I guess?) but you don’t need to hold our hand through each and every step. Please just put down simple mission markers to gently urge us where to go next, not force us.
Cute game with potential, but needs a lot of work
I’d like to mention first and foremost the most annoying thing about this game: the comically long forced tutorial. I mean almost 10 game chapters of the game only allowing you to push the one button it wants you to push. No going off and learning on your own, no doing the fun stuff first, just this overly long tutorial. That’s not a good first introduction for a game. The bugs that happened during that extremely long tutorial (and usually require you to fully close and reopen the game to fix) did nothing to help the experience either. Menu’s not loading properly or with parts missing, infinite loading screens, and audio bugs also didn’t serve to help either. It’s a minor gripe compared to those other things, but the rate of collecting currency for the gacha. You get maybe 1/60th of a ten roll for completing big tasks. That’s absurd. At least add more options for obtaining gacha tickets if the rate for currency collection is going to be so low. Despite all of my negative thoughts on the game, I’ll say the underlying premise is wonderful and has so much potential if the game itself can get polished up. It’s exactly what it promises on the tin: it’s a Yuru Camp camping game/gacha that roughly follows the story of the anime and offers different variations of the characters through the gacha, both as character units and as support cards. The characters are adorable and the locations are incredibly atmospheric. If you can look past the aforementioned negatives, this game is absolutely worth downloading. I plan to stick with it and am very hopeful that it’ll be polished and improved moving forward.

Chill but so many translate issue and bugs

This game is something else. I cant say I've played anything like it because normally I play games that don't have 1 hour tutorials filled with grammatical errors and micro transactions. The gameplay isn't even that enjoyable either once you get passed the tutorial. You just watch the characters pass or fail skill checks based on your gacha pulls.

Agonizingly long tutorial, will probably sunset in 6 months
Hopes aren’t high for this, especially with the ridiculously long tutorial and the fact that the game seems to get stuck after every story cutscene. Honestly don’t see this game lasting more than half a year before the servers are shut down.

This game is super cute and adorable, but it has this super annoying issue, where I’m playing a specific chapter, and the loading screen gets stuck, the game crashes and I never even get to continue playing the game. Please fix this issue.
Photo problem
I’m loving the game but I cant finish the tutorial due to a glitch I take a photo as it tells me to and then save it as I’m told to and afterwards it points to the middle of the picture telling me to tap it but nothing happens It continues to tell me to tap it and nothing happens
Loading is broken
As other reviews have said, the game would be amazing, if it actually worked. Having to hard reset the app at the end of EVERY cutscene is not playable.
Great BUT
Although the game is true to the anime is genuinely fun, every time after a cut scene there’s a bug which will just keep you on the loading screen. The game then must be restarted to continue and it really bums the experience.
Too long
The tutorial for this game is waaay too long. They force you to go through the whole thing and there isn’t even an option to opt out just so you can learnt what game yourself. It’s a cute game all in all, but the tutorial kills me man, it’s maddening
cute… but a little slow?
the story scenes are cute, as you just get to rewatch bits of the anime. but whenever these little storyline episodes would end, i would be on the tent loading screen for a bit, longer than you would hope. I would have to exit the app and then it would progress…… a bit of a shame since it is so cute.

Holy tUtorial
The sheer length of the tutorial is ridiculous and the amount is worse then those cheap add filled games that give you an ad every 15 seconds. They and I mean literally have a tutorial for every button and setting and. What not and you can’t skip it. I love the anime but the way they have set this game up is urging me to hate the series because of how they have set the tutorial up. It’s really turning me away. An hour in and I’m still doing the tutorial and it seems there’s no end in sight. Just respect my time and allow me to play how I want to play not your 1-5 hours (not sure if it is gonna be a 5 hour tutorial, just saying) where I get no choice in what I want to do or spend my time. Other than that I’m hoping for great things although currently can’t experience them because of this never ending tutorial. Update. Can’t play this game. Poor optimization phone is so hot right now. Tutorial still going. Can’t play the game and refuse to do so until the option to skip all the nonsense is added. Most likely won’t happen.
Stuck on loading screen

Love the anime wanted to love the game it looks good but is so unplayable since after every cutscene you get stuck on a loading screen forever and have to restart the game to progress. Really annoying.. and it doesn’t let you skip the tutorial either so I have no idea what the actual gameplay is, if its good or not bc it takes forever to progress due to this annoying bug. Please fix this asap.

I thought I submitted a review already but I guess it didn’t go through so here it is again lol Pros: - Fun game mechanics (gacha system, camp activities,etc.) - Cute art style - Surprisingly high quality graphics Cons: - Loading screens after reading a chapter can a whole minute or longer - Wasn’t able to connect my twitter (could be user error ngl) and when I went back to the game it froze - Tutorial was redundant but it’s not incredibly long
Glitchy
This game is sooooo glitchy. Any time the game makes me quick restart the story and then tries to throw me back into my camp it won’t load. I have to restart the app every time. Tutorial is also tedious and boring
I want to love it
I want to love this game but there are currently too many bugs. Which is a shame cuz I love the anime. There’s a major bug after you complete a chapter you get stuck on a white screen with a mountain shaped tent on it and no matter how long I waited it never got passed it, so I had to close the app and open it again. The next chapter I completed did the same thing. It’s not game breaking but it is annoying and it takes away from the immersion. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Other minor gripe is the name of the app on my phone is in Japanese, instead of it’s English name.

After the episode animation, I had to refresh the app since it wasn’t loading quickly. I have good internet connection so maybe it was a bug? The game is relaxing though. Very nice.
VERY slow unskippable tutorial
Don’t start this game unless you have a half hour or more to dedicate through the SLOW forced button pushes. I love the anime but didn’t have the patience to get to the main game which is a shame. For it being a ‘cute and simple’ game they force too much to get to that point.
Loading issues?
I love the laid back camp anime. The game is fun and adorable with the chibi characters, however. It might just be my internet but. Cute game but buggy
Love the anime and the game is cute, but within 10 minutes of playing I had two freezes where I had to close the app and restart. Infinite loading screens, etc. I’m sure in time it’ll get polished up, but 2 stars for now.
