This app glitches so much! They fix one problem and now it’s another one. You can’t pass the set up wallet screen because the button doesn’t work. You can be missing out on money because of this app smh
No way to know
If a shift is posted, and I apply, it continues to show "pending" on my end even though the shift has obviously been filled. I just worked a shift that I applied for a long time ago. It has shown pending on my end for weeks. The shift popped back up and I applied. I was accepted this time but the old one was still there on my profile showing as a "conflict". PLEASE make this where the shifter knows the shift has been filled. It is ridiculous for a shift worker to see "pending" or "conflict" or "accepted" at the sane time. Do something like "oh wow. You missed this one, but bla bla" take it off of their applications so they can plan for something else. We are all in this to make money. Please do not make it hard to know if you are working or not.
Pay system sucks
You wait 2 days for the money to go into your acct and then once it’s no longer pending you have to wait another 3-5 days to cash out without a fee, not to mention the mandatory upfront fee.

Unable to create profile
I typed all of my information in but “NEXT” button isn’t working
Good and bad
Generally things are great. However, I recently had an issue where an employer canceled the job after I showed up. Since our contract says they must pay for four hours if they cancel within 24 hours, I agreed to stay until the other person showed up just in case something happened. I figured they might as well use me while they were paying me anyway. I immediately notified shiftNOW. Needless to say, the other person showed more than an hour late. I left when he showed. Then, I didn’t get paid for the four hours; I only got paid for two. ShiftNOW did not honor the contract that we as contractors have with ShiftNOW. It doesn’t matter what contract they have with the employer.

Helped me make friends AND find full time work after moving to CHS. Still use occasionally to make extra money on the side.
App Doesn’t Work
I tried setting up my profile and the next button wouldn’t work . Very disappointed with the app .
Terrible tech setup.
The set up is very annoying because they don’t even tell you what areas they are located in. It makes you finish your profile in order to see any shifts at all. First of all you need to show shifts in order to show that companies are working with you and folks are not wasting time. Second in some form show where you reside at. Filling this out and finding out it’s not even in my area is annoying. This said only SC and TN cities. Either this company didn’t make sure only those areas have access, didn’t update, or they forgot how big the world is and folks won’t drive a days worth of hours for one shift. If your not in SC or TN waste of time and they won’t tell you that on there you have to fill it all out to see anything that’s a shift.
I Love this app service..
This is such an amazing app, for the capabilities of meeting new people, trying out different establishments, paid in 24/48hrs after the shift. Truly an awesome idea and app!! As a recommendation though it needs to change the close off for the employers to be capable of editing for the open shifts. Like the wedding banquet we did last night, if they only needed two or three people at first, but then ended up going to need 5, there only option is to cancel the whole shift, thus losing the 2-3 people already confirmed for it and risk them not reapplying and getting them back into the shift. Plus us shifters and the employer can’t message or talk to each other through here, so lacking communication capability incase of a change. Only have a running late quick response with 2 or 3 times me increments to choose and send for us, and just a cancel shift for the employer option.

I downloaded the app and did the phone verification and completed my details went to hit next and app failed to work. I checked WiFi and cellular connection and all was fine, my other apps work. I think this app is just phishing for our personal information and is a scam. I do NOt recommend

I like the app
This is a great app but I have one issue with it. I apply to as many shifts as possible but sometimes I’ll apply to a place and not get picked for days and when I finally do get picked I may not always be available for that shift anymore so then I have to cancel the shift and my reliability goes down. There should really be a feature that when they pick you for a shift that app should confirm with you that your still available to work the shift beforehand.

The app is very user friendly and process is smooth and simple, it works great for my schedule having the ability to choose which shifts I work and the hours.
Don’t waste your time
If your in California don’t bother . They have a waitlist and the only jobs are on the eastern seaboard. It’s a scam to just download the stupid app
Please remove filled shifts
To echo what leighpixie said, they are leaving up shifts as “available” that clearly aren’t available. I applied for multiple shifts that continue to say “pending” even after the day of the shift(s) has already passed. Please notify us as soon as possible if the shift is unavailable so we can move on with our search. It’s unfair to us to get our hopes up only to sit around waiting and realizing it’s not actually available.

Allison and Tom, the owners, are wonderful! I worked a shift with them last night for an event and I had fun! Tom and Allison are nice, upbeat, and organized. 10/10 recommend this company for anyone looking for a shift.
Customer service is a joke
My rating got dropped because somebody decided to choose me last second while I was busy at work. Later they said I didn’t confirm so my reliability dropped. I’m sorry but I’ve got a life get over yourselves we’re not 12😂 clowns

Scam. Don’t even trust them with your details or uploading a video. Owner (Andrew) is another entitled elitist “know nothing “ do no good’er. Childish unprofessional and reall sad to see this lowball level of exploitation of hospitality workers in a state that pay the least!
