Dear developers, I really enjoyed playing DARKEST DAYS and having fun. However, I don’t see any updates coming for very long time. I can see how you posting updates on other projects that looks very appealing too. Could you please not abandon this game and continue updating and adding new content into this game? Ideas: increase max level of the player and the shelter, add new type of gear, weapons, and enemies. Maybe more quests, new skins, pats, cars, or even different transitions like bike, motorcycle, etc. I hope this game will continue growing and getting more rich with different content, because there is a lot of possibilities and potential in it. THANK YOU!!!

Game seems interesting but too laggy and it crashes.
My biggest con is the bad language, not a fan… but against my better judgment I spent .99 cents on the beginner pack which gave me 30 tickets for the event draws. I tried the first 10 ticket drawl and the game crashed as soon as I clicked the button. Logged back in and noticed I hadn’t received anything and I lost my 10 tickets because the game still registered the draw even when I received nothing in return. Game is supper laggy which cause zombies to get right up on you before you can even try to aim. The single player “world chat” is a bit cringe too tbh. I’m not keeping the game. Too many bugs and bugs make me loose attention real quick.

No Support!!!
Been over 2 weeks since I’ve submitted a ticket for support on 4 different platforms and not heard back on any of them. It’s ridiculous! You spend money and then the game messes up. Level 17 and I have zero quests. Nothing pops up. The games glitched and won’t start the mission I left off on. Will support help? No idea, they won’t even take the time to get back to you. 4 separate ways of contacting them two different times and nothing.

Add skip option for story and don’t make people to do npc work make companions to built or research and add tracker for product that only obtains by gathering and add auto aim lock and shoot add air vehicles add water vehicles add land mines and add future type weapon and evolved boss and finally game is to enjoy making business not scavenging resources everyday

Getting bored
I’m on level 25.. it’s difficult to beat the masked gunmen when the zombies still coming for you once you start shooting. And it’s annoying that my weapons have to be at the same level as the level I am on or it will be hard to kill masked gunmen even if my gun is 1 level under theirs.

Literally stupid
Had the Liam McCarney season when I played and passed the season the outfits for that character were for that character only and not for the player, I stopped playing and removed the game only to find out that the outfits for the character were for player now that was limited time and for a challenge?. Seriously devs you couldn’t make it for player AND resident, I’ve spent money on this game and you are telling me I don’t have the outfits and will not be able to get them, I’m done playing this game unless something changes. This is not how a game should be made and downright stupid I want my outfits that I paid for this game is a scam, developers didn’t help much, resident outfits should also be for players as well from the start and always be available wasted time and money
Pretty Good
I’m a fan. Been playing for about a week now. Lots to do. I would honestly say that in recent of events this game gives me actual hope mobile games are becoming the future. Controller support is great (Backbone One). New game, some bugs but devs seem to be keeping up with and listening to its community. It’s becoming a bit repetitive but honestly what game isn’t. I’m eager to see what this game will have to offer long term.
Stuck on Press to Start Screen on Mac M1
The game looks visually impressive and runs smoothly on my MacBook M1 — no crashes or performance issues. However, it gets stuck on the “Press to Start” screen and never proceeds. The UI loads fine, but the game simply doesn’t respond. Tried reinstalling, checking internet, and Game Center settings, but the issue persists. Hopefully the developers address this startup/login problem soon because the game itself seems promising.
A Game with a False Sense of Progress
I played this game for 30 days, and I got to say that my enthusiasm started from a 10 to a 2. I will tell you why at its core besides the bugs and crashes the other reviews I read and considered. Initially, you, the character first get introduced to an apocalyptic world where Jimmy rescued you. He lead you through the first several moments of the game where he is on a mission to find his wife. You are a part of his mission now whether you sign up for it or not (lol). Everything is fun here as the zombies are easy, they DO NOT come in hordes, and they DO NOT pop out of the ground out of nowhere. As you progress, you meet communities, which have npcs where you can complete quests for to get exp for leveling up. Here is where my enthusiasm goes from a 10 to a 5. EVERY quest has something to do with go to a location, kill zombies, and/or loot furnitures. At its core, that is ALL you do no matter your level to 40 max. Now, the community quests are not necessary, but not doing them will lead to a huge difficulty spike where you have to do them for the exp to then continue with the story quest. The way the game works is that the zombies gain increasing armor and health for each level, and it is our job to level up to get guns with higher penetration and damage stats to counteract that. Basically, the game has a level lock on your weapons, and you need levels to use higher level guns to do damage to higher level zombies. Kk, you must be thinking, eh, I like shooting zombies and looting houses. Let us just do the quests. Well, it is not fun to go through SIX communities of around 20 quests each where the dialogue feels like the characters literally cannot take care of themselves and you are just an errand boy who choose to be a door mat for robotic characters that have similar dialogues of like “Oh, hi. Please help me do this.” You are done? “Well… I also have this other issue, fix it for me.” So, do the quest or don’t progress on the story at all. Want to only focus on the story? Nope, too bad do the mindless quests instead. While doing all of this, you really make no real progress. Starting out your gun takes around 3-5 shots to kill zombies without headshots. Guess how much it takes when you are max level? 8-10 with the same weapon level as the zombies. Do headshots or die trying to get them away from your face as the cursor aim will not land when they are 0.1 inch from your character because the gun is no-clipping through them. There is no real progress. It feels like progress is in fact going backward. There is only an illusion of progress when you got tons of achievements and finish all of the community quests (yes, I completed them all) only to feel empty in not having anything left to do other than VOLUNTARILY kill zombies and loot houses to upgrade your guns later on to do that even MORE like you have done with the similar endless quests, Even after all of this, the last two quest for the story is just unbelievable. The second to last is where you get surround by around 150 zombies in an enclose area that instantly fails you if you leave the premise while 3 types of zombies sprint for your head to stun you and combo you while you are defenseless. This is ridiculous. The last one is even more horrifying. The zombies are FIVE levels above your max level. This means that you have to upgrade your gun at least 5 times for normal tier, 4 times for rare, 3 times for super rare, and 2 times for super super rare, Now, good luck getting those because those are only unlock-able through a 28-day login reward for one of each rarity once or decompose lvl 40 weapons for a CHANCE to get. How to get those level 40 weapons? Loot more houses and have a chance to get them like you ALWAYS have. Besides that, you need ER an expensive currency with limit ways of obtaining to have a CHANCE for your weapon to even upgrade with the kit. 50% from level 2-3 and under 30% after level 3 to be precise, essentially getting you to a level 43 weapon if you level your normal tier weapon to level 3. Still 2 levels under a HORDE of level 45 zombies for the last story quest. Want to get super super rare weapons which are essentially already level 43 to level up? Well, the chance to get super super rare weapons or ssr in general from furniture is almost nonexistent. The other way is to collect 500 cents to trade with a black market trader for an unknown CHANCE to get. I got a rare tier from that, like bruh. Well, okay. I still like to play. Let’s buy a cute pet doggy that cost around $25 real money to loot furniture for you. Kk, deal. Wait a minute… Why in the world is the dog hungry? IT EATS THE SAME CURRENCY YOU BOUGHT IT FOR to continue using it?! WHATTT. Yeah, I don’t know anymore. There is no real progression in this game but that of what you set as “progress” for yourself. If you like a game just to shoot zombies, loot houses, and just do robotic quests that you consider as progress, go ahead. If not, the game has no real content other than just that. I write this review now that my enthusiasm goes down to a 2 to help those understand what the game is about and not feel empty after realizing that they just spent their time for basically nothing by doing the same thing over and over. If you feel happy shooting those level 5 zombies starting out, play and have fun. Though, I hope that stays for you because the zombies just feel like they are intentionally design to detect you more and come in groups later on. Also, as a side note, the shotgun is weirdly bugged when it comes to doing headshot to a special zombie call the squito. I feel like this is intentional because 8 pellets hitting headshots would be too much, but the shotgun is design to only hit like 1 pellet on the headshot for this zombie with perfect aim as I tested countless times. It is sad to see other guns outperform it for this reason, whether intentionally or not.
Great game but…
It’s a great game and I loved playing it but it got a bit repetitive and I just got bored with it. It is a great mobile game tho. I still have it downloaded and ready to play

Has major potential
As far as combat goes this is one of the BEST I ever tried. The work into the AI and music and zombies is so good but it’s criminal how bad the graphics are and having NO character customization sadly. You can’t even wear old armor pieces as cosmetics. It’s a shame

This game has serious potential the aesthetics are there a lot of glitches but it could be a really good game
Could be so good
If this game wasn’t predatory like 90% of the other games in the app store it would be so good. Its pay to win with hard walls you either have to spend hours grinding through or pay 10-20 bucks to get a stronger item to let you progress. Don’t waste your time unless the devs grow a conscious and do some balancing.

I really enjoy the game I can’t buy guns at the store in game (from the npc) why does everything cost so much material to build when I’m in an area when I’m looking for the material I need I rarely find it or if never shows up on the map add a mic feature to talk to the lobby or your party but other than that

Crashes repeatedly, most locations are unresponsive and nobody seems to fix the problem. Doesn’t matter how many times it’s reinstalled. Has gotten worse and zero response for the fix. Get used to the title screen you’ll see that more than actually works

Bugs issue
Lot of bugs and sometimes stuttering even in medium and low settings fix this and update the official version immediately. Beta version is not much good. But game is nice well maintained environment
