Opportunity missed
This is an enjoyable “jigsaw” puzzle in which players shuffle rectangular chunks of 2500 serious art works around until the complete picture emerges. Some of the images are fabulous and the task of assembling the picture requires a focus that frequently reveals aspects of the work that a casual glance would not: how light has been used; composition; colour. It’s an interesting and enjoyable way to appreciate famous painters and paintings. Each artist and work is given a brief textual comment. Regrettably those on the pictures are not illuminating, merely cheap, frequently puerile remarks that belittle the images. After each picture is completed, adverts are shown.

The game is spoiled
Please restore the gameplay to it’s former self. The recent automatic linking of puzzle pieces is tiresome, but now it is often not even possible to complete a game to ‘Perfection’ within the number of turns allowed. To have to watch an ad, and some of them are 2 minutes, to place the final piece of the puzzle is simply unfair. These issues have spoiled what was an excellent, relaxing game.

I love this puzzle app so much but the latest update where all the pieces have white borders takes away so much from the visual appeal. :((((
You have spoilt a brilliant game
Why have you put white lines around each piece? It ruins the game and is very off putting. Also it automatically now moves connected pieces if they are next to each other ie dumbing down the fun.

A thoroughly enjoyable exploration of art spoilt by the woke commentary that is anti-Christian, anti-men and judgemental.

Do NOT trust this app.
I paid for No Adverts when there was no time limit. They have changed their rules, and switched back on the adverts that I had paid to not see. Without my consent they have switched to insisting on annual payments. And they have not given me the option to have my payment refunded.
Addicted to this game
However, can someone explain how the scoring works!( I paid for “ad-free”, btw.) And what determines the number of moves for each work? Does each work start out with the same number of moves? And when you request 5 more moves how does that affect the score? Some paintings are much more complex than others, are they scored the same? I have to say I’m a retired art history teacher and I could certainly suggest some improvements to the comments after the puzzle is solved.

I paid a sum of money to avoid getting ads. After a while this was ignored and now I do. I have written to them about it but have not heard back! If the ads do not stop, I will delete the app despite my payment to them.

Loved - Now Loathe
I loved this game. Easy but challenging enough. Easy to just zone out and do. Then the latest update happened which was labelled ‘improvements and bug fixes’. This was code for NOW THIS GAME HAS ADS after EVERY single puzzle. Not worth playing anymore.
Update ... Offensive Ad ruins game
You lost another star with an absolutely offensive ad choice. And this monstrosity is very long and is repeated again and again. "Passion ... Romance Books" shows abuse of partners. This is unacceptable. How this can be approved by the creators of such an excellent and classy game is beyond belief! Remove it! I would give this game ten stars ... but now as I complete over 100 games, suddenly the ads are increasing. The horrible "June's Journey" and "Royal Match" are taking over! I'd be happy to pay for no ads, but will never purchase a dated "subscription" because those are scams with automatic renewals. Just charge a flat rate for no ads. Most of us will finish the games in a year anyway. I've been playing this wonderful game, enjoying the lesser known paintings and fascinating "tidbits" offered in that envelope at the end of each puzzle. This is possibly the most beautifully and thoughtfully created game online. Please don't ruin it with the ad scam. You are too good for that! 👍🙏
The Artist Info is Gone
Where is the interesting info that went along with every painting? Now it’s just the name and date of the painting. Nothing about it and nothing about the painter. Big disappointment.
Fun
I love studying the paintings and learning something of the artist and the painting, but the mechanics of the assembling the picture is frustrating and annoying. You move a piece to this position and it decides to move it somewhere else. And the number of moves to complete the picture are not generous to begin with. Also some of the paintings are only potions of the original so even if you cheat you may still be putting pieces in the wrong place. Another example of “must make money” from your app at all costs, instead of doing an app so good they’ll throw money at me.

Pub pub pub Vraiment trop 25 seconde de jeux 2 minutes de pubs. Mais en plus elle est rémanente et vous n’arrivez pas a en sortir. L’idée était bonne, mais les oeuvres étant libres de droit, on a l’impression d’une machine a cash. Très déçu, je vais désinstaller car vraiment l’impression d’une appli chronophage.
Mostly good…
….but I’d like more about the artworks and artists, and fewer facile comments. It really does spoil it for me, and adds nothing.
Stressful
Does not let you skip puzzles. It has move limits which are frustrating, especially with “ turn piece” puzzles which are often nonturnable, then you are stuck and can not go forward. It needs a skip button. I foolishly bought no ad option and can not play. I like the art, want a less stressful game.
Cleaver
I loved these puzzles at first. I found them very informative and loved the info about the artist that came out of back of frame. Then, the challenge came when I had to rotate the pieces. 90%of the time they would not rotate no matter how I tried. I got so frustrated when I was suppose to be enjoying it. Sorry, I had to delete app. It made my blood pressure go up!
Puzzles that promote Wellbeing
This has given me hours of joy completing paintings both old and new. The accompanying letters give us an insight into the artists and the stories behind their work. Excellent!
used to be brilliant
Unfortunately they have added some of the most annoying ads on the web to this app, and completely spoiled it fir me. To add insults to i jury, early on I had paid to avoid having ads. Will be deleting.
Hugely enjoyable, but…
I am currently about half way through the 800 paintings and enjoying this a lot. However, there are one or two flaws which would improve it. I find the banality of the ‘notes’ which pop up on completion of each painting detracts from the value of the art. I couldn’t help laughing at this one , after Albrecht Durer’s Adam and Eve “King Charles III inherited this painting but ordered that it be destroyed because he deemed it obscene. A court painter saved it by hiding it away. My oh my!” That really does need attending to.
Heist?
I think the developer needs to look up the word heist. I thought this was gonna be a detective type puzzle game. It’s literally just a game where you swap pieces to put them in the right spot. Not even the slide kind where it’s a hair more difficult. I do like the facts about each piece and the pictures are nice but it’s too easy. They literally wrote a short story to describe the game and it’s just a piece swap game. I’ll probably keep it for when I’m bored with my other games. But it’s also too frequent of ads. Quick puzzle then an ad like every time. 2 stars and don’t claim that it’s a ‘heist’.

Fault on level 1161
Impossible to continue with the game as it is set for you to complete the puzzle in five moves which cannot be done. Shame as I LOVE this game!
Good free game
I’ve got used to games not being as advertised or overwhelmed with ads. This has ads of course, but not every level so not too irritating, and although puzzles start out far too easy they have enough challenge after a few sections. It’s not going to transform my life but it’s unusually good for something I don’t have to pay for.
Trop de pub

After the last update there is no reward for finishing each puzzle, why?

What a rip off. Ads even after paying.
I paid the full price and have been enjoying playing random levels with no ads. Suddenly, I am forced to see ads and to use points to get more time. I wonder if I paid a second time if this is what I would get? It’s such a shame. It was such a nice game. I feel as if I’ve been abandoned and my money snatched away without a return.

There is not enough information about the painting of the artist. Instead silly personal observations are made ‘ a vaquero could be swapped for Clint Eastwood’ More insightful information please
A flawed opportunity?
Initially this is a brilliant “art” app with interesting information about each puzzle you solve. So why not 5 stars? Simply because as you progress through the game the challenges become more and more difficult and it becomes (almost) impossible to achieve a picture with the limited number of moves available. So ultimately it becomes like so many other “free” games where you are forced to watch long and tedious unrelated adverts to give you a few more moves. Alternatively you can buy extra coins to complete your picture. Shame reality. It had the potential to be a great app

Brilliant.
I’m absolutely loving this. I thought I’d give it a go after loving the jigsaw type element of another game. What I didn’t take into account is that studying the pieces also gives you a real appreciation of the finished piece of art. I’ve googled every artist and every piece of work, and as well as being a really enjoyable game, it’s also increasing my knowledge and appreciation of art.

Adverts lasting a full minute appear far too frequently 🙄 Make it 5-15seconds and I might even…you know….*watch* them 👀 60 seconds mean I pick up another device 🤣

Lovely app. Would like to know where the paintings are held. However, this latest update has meant my app suddenly stopped working...I just get the Magnetic green screen. Why?
Beautiful Game Ruined
This is a wonderful game but the ads ruin it. I would pay a small fee to buy this outright, not stop the ads temporarily, like it suggested. It is a shame.
Bug fixing
It’s a great idea, and each painting is a pleasure, but there are many bugs that need fixing. I’ve found that the music suddenly stops playing, the screen can be juddery and every now and then it freezes. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely game to play
