It’s a lot easier and quicker getting my prescriptions using this app, many thanks indeed!
Zero Functionality
App is completely useless. Can’t do a single thing on it. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, nothing. I have to order my prescription by physically driving to the surgery and putting a note in the box. Why have an app at all. I’ve ’reported a problem’ if you decide to do this, make sure you have a pen and paper handy because you’ll need to record all the error codes. Oh and towards the end of the (probably pointless exercise) you have to obtain the version no of the app. This is on the Home Screen, however if you navigate away from the ‘problem’ form, you have to start all over again.. I get that apps have some issues, looking at the history of the reviews dating back years. Nothing has been done.
Good App
I always use this app to order repeat prescriptions. I would use it to book appointments if ever there were any available! I’d love to see results on the app ie blood tests. I was told by my GP that it wasn’t possible. I’m pretty sure it is as my friend gets hers in a private medical app
Very limited
I’ve had this app for a while now and it remains very limited. Just wondering when it might actually include something more useful like the ability to see my medical records and test results? They have this in Scotland and have done for some time…
Results
Shame we can’t get test results and medical records like the English NHS. Also unless your surgery is signed up to make appointment you still have to ring.
Problems with the App
I like the app very much but recently I cannot use the icons at the bottom of the page when using the app on my iPad. The images are superimposed and non reactive , I can’t even log out. The app works perfectly on my iPhone
A disgrace
The government has now prevented repeat prescriptions being ordered at my local pharmacy so I now have to drive a mile down the road just to hand the prescription in at the doctor’s surgery. I thought I’d use this app to save me the trouble to no avail. I can’t even login so I’ve no idea if the app is any use other than it’s got a pitiful two stars at the time I’m writing this review. Login error after error, check if your human messages, having you click on photos of buckets only to see another error message blah blah. I’ll probably kick the bucket before I ever access this pitiful app. It’s just not acceptable on an app relating to your health records. 🤷♂️😡
Updated?
Looks like this app has got an update or the surgery has finally started using it. Can now order repeats and see hospital waiting lists and hospital appointments. Still can’t book GP appointments or message practice.
Orientation matters.
Since the update at the beginning of June 2026 the app has ceased to display properly or even work in landscape mode. What have you developers done? Sort it fast!
Update didn’t work
Just updated to view waiting listing referral and nothings changed. Still can’t see anything. This app useless bar prescriptions.

Absolute Garbage
These morons somehow made a digital app as annoying and confusing as actually being IN a hospital. Utterly stupid. And requiring Photo ID just to even use the app is stupid and dangerous. Our country may have free health care, but we’re not much better off than the US with idiots like this deciding how the NHS should be run.
Infuriating app
Why bother giving the option to remember the device if it doesn’t REMEMBER THE DEVICE. Multi stages to log in which is annoying but fair enough. Very glitchy at times even after updating. Not great.

I appreciate the apps functions and features although at present it appears that it’s only utilised by my GP and not other health departments. I also do not have full view of my medical notes and test results which would be beneficial.
Compromised data privacy
Although NHS Wales is separate from NHS England (or its replacement), some data from this app is shared with NHS England. NHS England has sold patient data, to Palantir, etc. Therefore it’s unclear how secure my data would be if I used this app.
Not working
I have not been able to use the app for at least two weeks. Can anyone please help.
Simple to set up and easy to use.
It was easy to login using the NHS ID I had already created during Covid. The app supports Face ID so authentication will be even simpler in future. My repeat prescription items are all listed and ready to reorder, and the app shows when they are approved. My surgery sends them electronically to my chosen pharmacy so the whole process should be much quicker. I don't really understand all the bad reviews.
Doesn’t work
I log in and then it tells me I need to log in so I log in and then it says you need to log in repeat repeat repeat. Rubbish
Data gaps / unlinked services
Login worked fine with nhs id, my main gripe is a complete disconnect regarding referrals - I have multiple active referrals and others yet to be actioned but there are zero records in this section. This would be very useful as I have zero visibility on what is happening especially with the long waiting lists

Just constantly reporting unable to log in, not sure which version of the app I have. It is the most recent update
Limited
Good for booking appointments, and you can see what vaccinations you have had (or declined). That's about all it offers, at least in my case, though I gather it depends on what your GP surgery has opted in to. I really wanted to see details of my hospital visits but this was not there at all. The hit and miss approach to this app pretty much sums up the Welsh NHS as a whole.

Prescription notifications
This is a simple App enhancement. Recently, three family members have not had their repeat prescriptions approved by the Surgery. It would be very useful if the NHS app could send a notification by to either phone or SMS to let people know this. Three of us have only just found that items were missing from their dispensed prescription and we weren’t informed by the surgery. This has caused distress in one instance and annoyance to all of us.
Won’t work now
Since I have updated the app it will no longer open or load anything, It comes with a message error because of the version of the app I’m using it won’t load. But it’s new newest version. Don’t update!!
Pointless
The app is worth between pointless and useless. All I can see is when I’ve had appointments with my GP, the location and doctor. Nothing about what it was for. Nothing about any hospital visits. Nothing about my medical record. There’s also nothing about my prescriptions. Utterly useless!
Useless no information on there
I’ve been on my medication for 18 years - apparently not according to this app but they show I was prescribed amoxicillin back in 1990nn I’ve had cancer - apparently not according to this app! I’m under loads of MH providers with frequent appointments - apparently not according to this app! I’ve seen consultants/GP’s had hospital appointments and operations etc - apparently not according to this app! At least they got my severe medication allergies which would be fatal But according to this “great” app I’ve never visited my GP, had an operations, major or minor! Pointless app
