Fun film game been playing with for over 15 years
Initial Skill Wall Too High
Obviously another P2W game where you can only get better through money. It shouldn’t be so difficult on the first or second stage that even with an ideal load out of abilities you can’t make it past halfway. I tried several times(And have played other similar games very often) and given the variety of enemies there’s absolutely no way to win except to get really lucky on skills and/or upgrade your character which you obviously can’t do yet in the game without spending money. This game is greedy and bad at hiding it. At least in other similar games there’s some buildup to the paywall and there’s a variety of things to do in game. Not here.

Designed to drain time and money
The gameplay in and of itself isn’t bad, despite being another one of the hundreds (thousands?) of Vampire Survivors clones, which if you enjoy, you know what you’re getting. Personally, I have fun with these types of games, so I liked it for the most part.. The reason for my low review score is that this game is clearly designed as a cash-grab and little more. The week long beginner missions are literally impossible to complete without spending money or investing a massive amount of time into the game. The Watchtower feature where you can collect resources over time cost 15 energy and can be activated 3 times..problem is, you only get 25 max energy, so you can only activate it once with full energy. Every time you level up, you get 4 energy..problem is, everything cost a minimum of 5 energy to do. These sort of decisions make it clear to me that player enjoyment isn’t the top priority. Depriving players of basic resources such as energy is clearly done to create an artificial scarcity, to incentivize players to spend money. Now of course these games cost money to develop and I have no problem with them including ads for minor rewards and trying to incentivize players spending money, but the way the system is currently designed simply feels scummy. It’s actively annoying, and despite generally enjoying the gameplay (3.5/5), these stingy designs have annoyed me to the point where I just feel used, like I’m a vehicle for making money, not a player that they actively want to create an enjoyable experience for. If you absolutely love Vampire Survivor-esque games, give it a shot. But be prepared for mechanics that solely exist to annoy players into spending money.
Greedy knock-off
It’s a Survivor.io knock off thst spams you with multiple offers after every game. It’s an ok game in general that does the usual pay to progress fast thing, other than that it’s no better than the game they’ve ripped off. Just more greedy.

Possible one of the worst games I’ve ever played. Fun concept and visuals, but at a certain point the game gets like impossible and you hit a wall. Then for some reason they limit the amount of times you can play a day which is an atrocious business decision. I decided to update my game bc I thought there was no way it was this terrible permanently and after updating I lost all of my progress, and I was pretty far in, MONTHS IN. This is game is a terrible, do not waste your time or mental state on this garbage

Great game but I’m a bit annoyed that after reinstalling the is game due to space that all my data and purchases (the ones that I can remember) have disappeared. But annoying after spending a large amount of time in the game. If the developer saw this and could check I’d be happy to change my rating :)
Great game but do not delete
Great game you guys have here. I’m having a hard time restoring my purchase. I can’t log in to my previous save that I had before I deleted the app. If I knew this would’ve happened, I wouldn’t have deleted the app. I would’ve just left it. My money seems to have gone down the drain.

Issue with game
I was on level 50 and the game app stopped working. So i deleted the app and downloaded it again and it’s not connecting to my apple account. So i spent money on the game and now i lost everything. I sent email to the support and nobody got back to me to fix the issue. It’s been more then 2 weeks already!

Amazing game but sometimes when I accidentally delete it I lose my progress so maybe make like a game center acc or google acc to save your progress
Fun but feels Pay-to-Play
This game can be really fun and addicting, but some of the major flaws make it hard to enjoy at times. For one, “make two in-app purchases” should never be a weekly quest goal. I’m not one to spend money on a casual iPad game so this was a major disappointment. Also, sometimes when you click on the Ad it doesn’t load properly and you are forced to quit out of the game and reload. Super annoying when you need to revive a final boss fight and you lose all your progress.
Fun but annoying
Had some fun with this game though the ads get in the way as well as pushing purchases. Some ads even have more than 1 counter so you need to wait even longer than it states. The first few levels are fun and fairly easy, but as you progress there seems to be a huge leap in difficulty (have been stuck on the same level for a while now) Overall fun, but not the best.
Very deceptive
When a developer posts a purchase with the description “NO ADS”, then that should be accurate…NO ADS. I purchased the $9.99 no ads promotion. In the description, it stated that there would be no more ads to delay the play. I closed the app down after the purchase and went back into the game. It showed the first purchase gift and I was pleased. I then start playing and see an option for ads to re-roll my weapon choice and…SURPRISE the ads are the same. There is NO CHANGE to the gameplay despite that I paid them $10 for this to be changed. Here is the big issue: there was an option for ads busters. These ad busters were listed under the TEMPORARY section. The NO ADS option was NOT. This is purposefully deceptive. I will be reporting this to Apple (although that will probably do NOTHING) and will delete the game. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEVELOPER. This type of scamming (and that’s what it is) should make Apple revoke their ability to create apps/games for their customers. SHAMEFUL

Creative & Fun
One of the better upgrade stacking games I’ve played. Kinda like playing Galaga or Metal Slug and collecting fun upgrades that eventually fills the entire screen with cool attack spells. Huge difficulty spike around lvl 15 though. I would never spend more than an hour or 2, at most maybe half a day, on a level and then I hit lvl 15 and been on it for almost 2 days. The talent tree gets pretty expensive after lvl 7
Entertaining if you’re okay with paying
There’s a steep drop off in gameplay where it is very clear the developer wants you to either pay money to continue playing or repeatedly lose a large number of games until you can level up to try again. The game also has deceptive advertising and a limited number of skills. There were social media ads showing the wizard character creating black holes for enemies to drop into which never manifests as an actual skill in the game. The skill combination mechanic was fun until I realized around stage 30-40 that i wouldn’t be unlocking new skills for the foreseeable future. After you combine skill A with skill B again and again, the novelty starts to lose its appeal.
Enjoyable but lackluster.
Pros: game is smooth, visually pleasing, and totally free with optional purchases. You can unlock the best heros during events/ daily quests and even can watch videos to earn hero shards. Cons: It only took me about two days to unlock all the spells. Their are only maybe 20? (Not counting the passives) Their are soooo many levels to do which is awesome! but nothing new to unlock now? Forever? It just lacks long term playability. Lack of armor/ weapons. Only 4-5 weapons to chose from? 4 armor sets? Their are 3-4 games JUST like this one but with pets etc (like survivor IO) All spells are upgradable/ merge into a “mega spell” accept ice shield. I think that’s lame because you can only choose 6 spells- opportunity for 3 “mega spells” but if you choose ice shield, you’ll have two spells that can’t reach full potential taking up slots. Would like to see something compatible with ice shield. Lacking spells quantity and combinations. Ideas to implement: a DECK building system. That way the “roulette type” level up system will be in tact- but it would add so much more variety and style to the game. So you’re not always picking the same three AOE spells for all 100+ levels lol.

Great game i love it but i have to give it a low rating because i spend so much money with the game and i even brought the no ads part and got so far but recently lost my phone when i got a new one i downloaded the app again all to find out there’s no way to get back anything and i have to start from scratch very disappointed i haven’t played since

Fun, but the ads came out of nowhere
I was playing until chapter 3, and suddenly I’d get ads after opening an elite’s chest in the middle of a run! And it was every chest, so every run is taking way longer because it’s constantly interrupted by ads! Some are 5 seconds and then skippable, but most are not able to be skipped until after 30 seconds minimum. There’s no one-time purchase of “ad-free” either. They have tickets. You buy ad-skipping tickets! That would get so expensive so fast! It was a lot of fun, but that many ads (with other in-game purchases I might add) really turned me off of the game. I’d rather pay $5-7 CAD for ad free and then just enjoy my game.

I played this game obsessively until a recent update. The collection radius is microscopic now making it nearly impossible to play. I’m done I’m until it’s fixed.

Good graphics, smooth gameplay and decent levelling up, although could do with more item drops as you will find yourself struggling on harder levels This could be fixed by having more gameplay modes such as boss fights, fights against other players etc which would also differentiate the game with other similar games out there already
Froze
Once you get to chapter 6 it loads then freezes when you get ready to play. Additionally to what I posted, you can’t even go back to the first lvl to “train” cause it freezes too. So please do an update!
Incomplete game
Fun, but started freezing everytime I tried starting a round and uninstalled and reinstalled to fix and when I recovered my account it was reset to zero and the help button doesn’t work so it’s lost so now I have to restart and I’m not going to

Great game. Good fun. Runs well (just keep a charger handy, late game can eat the battery!). No annoying ads. I’m very impressed by this.

It’s literally the same game different skin. Surely the devs at Apple know that all these games are scamming children? …. It’s not a GAME this is a manipulation of peoples minds into dopamine hits for their parents wallet, it’s abusive and should be illegal.

Cool game, cool concept but way too glitchy, especially with the revive. It just does not work and lost 28 minutes of progress just because I tried to revive
I can't play the game anymore
It's a fun game. I've tried a few games like this and this one barely works. I've played a few levels and then the game just freezes when I try to load into a level. I can't even access the help button in the menu. Like I said, it's fun, it's got good graphics, but it doesn't work and I've tried basically everything to get it to work. Also the pop ups when you launch the game and end a level asking you to pay are pretty annoying.
