What people like
- Accurately identifies your vocal range quickly
- Good for basic vocal warm-ups
- Great free tool for beginners to test limits
What they complain about
- Almost everything requires a paid subscription
- Pitch tracking can be inaccurate or inconsistent
- App gets stuck loading and won't start
Simply sing
That’s actually super fun You guys should try it out if you don’t have it yet and it’s for free
Good but makes you pay
I like the app all, but it makes you pay for almost everything. I’m trying to learn how to sing in like vocals like a G or an E sharp or whatever I don’t know what it’s actually called but it makes me pay just to do that. I can only do one exercise without paying for it. don’t get it if you don’t wanna pay. find a different app. literally somebody needs to make it to where I don’t have to pay for everything
It’s a bit disappointing
It’s a real bummer that you have to pay but the discount does make it better
Takes forever
I answered only two questions and i tried everything but it refused to load. Im giving this two stars instead of one because i don’t know the context of this app
No no
I downloaded this game think8ng it will be fun to train my voice I got the app and I clicked on the answered they were asking then it started loading and I waited for 2 and a half hour it would not load to even start would not reccomend
Excellent
Muy buena app
Too High
Everything I try in this app is way too high for my voice.
Why I gave four stars
I could barely do anything because most of it was premium and I’m not wasting my parents money on it
For Weak Singers Only
Got this thinking I’d work on improving my vocal range. Well, if you have greater than a two octave range, this app really doesn’t do anything for you. Vocal range exercises are incredibly limited, and didn’t hit my high or low cap notes. The other exercises are ok, just very basic. I do think it would probably help someone who is brand new to singing, but if you have any type of experience it is just a waste of time and money.
I can’t even rate this
I really wanna find out my vocal range so I did some quizzes on google and they have both given me different answers so I want to check to see if that’s correct. So I downloaded this app and 2 questions in it’s stuck on these 2 birds shaking hands, how do I get rid of that?
Awesome
This is so great, especially for beginners
Everyone says it’s good but…
So basically, everything needs premium and it’s not fair. It’s basically if ArtWorkout kept everything with only one unless if you got premium like please update this I do not recommend it makes you spend money every month or a year and I don’t really like that. I want a free singing app not a money infested singing app so please fix this at least make a few like popular songs like money or something. We have to get premium or make like daily things free at least and also make a daily login and every time you make it to the end, you can get a free one day of the premium thing some more people would want to play instead of rage and delete this just my opinion so you could either spend money or write a review like this with me!
So far so good
Working good so far
just big and greedy
yall if u want a free app don’t do this lol you’ll get one scale to practice and you’ll find your ‘vocal range’ but that’s abt it, no songs or other practices unless you wanna pay 8.99 a month it’s not THAT bad and it seems like a good app but if yall are broke like me maybe find a second option
Ehh
It’s fun but you have to pay for a lot, it’s not totally accurate either, if you’re looking to find your voice type, totally use this app!! If you’re looking for lessons, don’t use this app unless you wanna pay!
Sing Whiz
It’s a amazing app to use for my vocal range and thank you 🥰
BEWARE
Wanted to try out free trial canceled subscription and they charge me for a yearly subscription not cool
Great app
I love how it shows you singers with similar vocals and gives you daily exercises but I wish you could use Spotify as well as Apple Music because I use Spotify but it only allows Apple Music
Upsetting and annoying
The only thing you can do without paying is finding your vocal range, and the prices are expensive. Wouldn’t recommend this.
Cmon bro
It’s honestly just annoying, you can’t make EVERYTHING in the app only available with subscriptions, there needs to be at least SOME things to make me even think about trying the subscription, the only thing they let you do without one is find your range they literally HIDE everything that you could be doing with the subscription to the point where you don’t even know what you would be paying for. Like lighten up guys this is why you don’t have a lot of users compared to other singing apps.
Singing
I can definitely use this app to test my vocal range whenever I’m away from school or my choir director is unavailable. I can practice singing and improving my skills.
Pay or get scareware
I stopped the subscription and now get warning messages from the app that I’ve been hacked. I work in cybersecurity so I know this is false and intended to coerce.
Good app
Kind of hard to understand at the start but somehow really helps
Too many paywalls
Seems like a good and helpful app except for the fact that if you want to actually learn to sing, you have to pay. You can only do two exercises for free and they’re both very basic. Just another money leeching app, I might as well just learn with youtube
unlocking stuff
as a 14 year old female singer i think this app is great for generic vocal warmups and if you’d like to know your vocal range and voice type. for example i was told i was a mezzo soprano and my range was D#3 to B5. the reason im giving vocal range finder sing whiz 3 stars is because the content that will even further develop aspiring vocalists is locked unless you pay for it. barely any useful features are free and for the free warmups— that’s not special. you can get that on youtube or anywhere else so it’s not a privilege that they’re free.
I’m planning to become a singer now
This works so well I might just become a singer
Pay?
There’s kids on here who can’t pay this truly disappoints me but it’s okay it’s a good app so far
Good but needs more
There’s not a lot of things to do but it really does help and there’s n payment
Poor guidance
Sing Whiz has some genuinely good vocal warm-ups, which is why I’m giving it two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the breath work is frustrating. I can’t seem to score above 70%, and the app never explains why or what needs improvement. The pitch tracking during warm-ups is also inconsistent — the tracking ball will suddenly jump very high or very low even when I’m not singing those notes, which leads to poor scores and repeated practice. I tried different headphones and didn’t see any improvement. There’s very little feedback overall, and the app doesn’t feel very user-friendly. Since this is a paid app, I expected clearer guidance and better explanations. It might work for a very beginner singer, but I feel like there are better options out there.
Amazing
I use it to take track of how high I can take my notes but I wish more things were free
Not the app I expected 2 stars ⭐️⭐️
I thought this app would be a lot better because I heard so many good things about it so I said why don’t I give it a try? I found out my vocal range. That’s pretty much all you can do and if you want to do more things you have to pat 50 dollars which is crazy!! I was not a fan of this app and I only put it in 5 stars so you could read this. I hope you don’t get this app. I hope this helped people make a decision on this app. Two stars
Waste of time so far
I got this app and I could do two step and then is started to load and would not stop loading. When t finally stoped loading and went on to the next step I filled in everything that I needed to and then just to sing I have to pay even though you have to pay for simply sing I would rather use that because when you start paying of that you have access to all the simply apps.I would give this app 0 stars if I could
Good app
Could do with more free options
Umm
so basically, I tried this because I wanted to see if it was actually accurate and it put me as a soprano and I’m an alto or lower
It’s okay
App is great. But I wish you didn’t have to pay for almost everything
Just started
But super excited!
Bad
Have to pay
amazing app
i love this app, however it would be amazing if more stuff was free, and not premium
The dot just gets confused and confused me.
While my voice has gotten quite messy, I have problems on my iPhone with usb-c earphones on. The dot feedback is more inconsistent than my current voice misleading me. I can’t tell why.
Wsppp
This is awesome but u always have to pay for smth u can only barely do two things without paying and u can’t do anything unless u pay so over all its not a fine not a four but a three
Helps keep track of vocal range
I sing every day and I come to this app often to keep track of my range
Range
When I was trying to find my range kept moving notes and would find my note I was singing singing low
Great app for warming up and checking range
This is good for warming up and checking your range accurately, although having a large range will bump you down to a lower singer type. I am high D6# to low G4 but it made me a contraalto (you can change it though). Lots of the features are premium only so there may be better apps out there
Why
I love this app. But I hate that I can’t find one app that’s FREE! Why do that to this app, this perfect app. Make it free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😡
Big improvement
If you want to help us sing why do we have to pay to unlock our ‘full potential’ it only told me I’m a soprano and everything else I had no access to
Love it
Great price great practice
I HATE IT
You have to pay to do anything!!!!!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this at all! It’s horrible! I’m 11 and I sing with groups, I’ve looked at so many apps, and they all cost money!!!!😡
This app is really good
I specifically like the vocal exercises
Don’t get the app it’s terrible
it’s terrible because I can’t really do anything without having to pay
inaccurate
it told me that i’m an alto when I’m a mezzo soprano??? and i did a really high note and it told me it was a much lower note?
