Something a little different👏🏻
I have been playing HOPA(aka HOAG) for awhile & stopped for several years until later last year so you can imagine my surprise; no more Big Fish to find this genre😳. I do thank the old school fans/reviewers for guiding me on how to proceed❣️I have great appreciation for the developers who are now putting out these games on their own. Sad to see Artifex Mundi, MadHead, etc have to give up on iOS. For Elephant as a developer, I’m not always downloading & looking for new games because they all seem like the same games over & over😬. Paranormal __ or ___investigations. Sorry to be on the harsh side but after playing this particular game as well as the Crossroads game, I now KNOW you have the ability to be different. I don’t doubt your quality because all your games have the “bells & whistles”, unique puzzles & graphics are always awesome(if a bit too dark, literally)but I get SO bored with most of the games you put out now🙇🏻♀️ This game was a refreshing change. I usually love horror, as a whole, but it doesn’t have to be so bland & dark(again Crossroads was awesome!) I want to love your games again. I understand the loyalty because a lot of other developers lean towards fantasy but I wish you would try something different like this more often instead of staying with the same title #23(exaggeration but not by much) Not only does it get old but newer players, (or players like myself who have taken breaks from this genre for one reason or another) aren’t going to hop on the 🐘 wagon. Loved the backwards Snow White tale. This was a great effort & change! It was a little fantasy but 100% your uniqueness & quality still shone through 🌟 Keep trying something new & maybe add some more interactive elements? I appreciate all the time & effort that are put into all your games because I’m aware it’s something I could never do. I definitely recommend this game & hope to see more like it from this developer in the (very) near future💕 💋☠️Jen Rage☠️💋

I am so tired of sloppy releases. This game was unplayable, and I’ve put in a request through Apple Pay for my money back.
Cursed Fables: White as Snow by LynxMinx
Once Elephant dealt with the quality assurance issues, this was actually a cute little game. It had an ironic twist in regards to the fairy tale Snow White. Instead of a princess bewitched by her evil stepmother, Snow White was a malevolent vampire. I am not a fan of vampires but the game was an enjoyable romp, with lots of interesting characters, some of whom were actually altruistic. The game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure. The graphics were pleasant and pretty. Collectibles included puzzle pieces and character voodoo dolls. The HO scenes had a good variety. Many of the mini-games were rotational, and I am quite tired of those. The basic gameplay featured the usual addictive element and at least had some interesting inventory usage. At times several of the mini-games were difficult to manipulate. In a couple of locations, the screen went “black” except for areas where one needed to use an inventory tool. If not for mediocre quality assurance, I would not have deducted a star. My rating will remain at 4 stars. Happy gaming, everyone, and please be sure to update your reviews as this game was fixed! If you don’t do so, others won’t play and we won’t receive games from this developer. I have been informed that Haunted Hotel and Mystery Trackers have been retired, but there will be a couple of new series. Let’s look forward to those and hope that Elephant can get a handle on their quality assurance ineptitude!
Frozen on parrot puzzle
Cannot proceed past this puzzle, which isn’t working. It shows me it needs completing, but won’t actually load the puzzle. Nothing else needs doing, this is the only available puzzle to do, and it’s not working so cannot proceed. Paid for the game, and cannot play it. Not happy.

Once everything was fixed it is amazing!! Definitely worth the wait

Had no problems with the game play once developer made some fixes. Enjoyed the game thoroughly. The game only had 3 chapters plus bonus. Seems a bit much to shorten the games since we are already paying more for each game . 🙁 Nevertheless, thank you developers for a fun game.

6/1 - For those who tried to play Paranormal 8, please be advised that thanks to LynxMinx this game has been removed from the App Store until it is playable. Update 5/24 - after the update I am happy to say the game proceeded flawlessly. The update even eliminated the beheaded guard (thanks for that). Although vampire themes are not my favorite, this one was less gory and more melancholy than most. I will therefore revise my rating to 4 stars - would have been a 5 if not for the unfortunate beginning, but it was updated quickly. Update 5/21/22 - I tried playing the trial portion of the game but it totally locked up in the room with the two guards (one of whom loses his head). Also, there is programming language visible on the game pages. UNACCEPTABLE!!! 5/20/22 I purchased the game but it will not unlock. Please correct or I will have to ask for a refund AGAIN!!! Second game in a row with an unacceptable problem.
Cursed fables 1-Snow White
Very disappointed as I paid £5.99 for this game which lasted 2 hours. All other games have more content and last at least 2 days.
Not right
The game has a show symbol in the top left corner and does not go away. When you hit it , it looks like a keyboard for testing. Update Tuesday May 24th. The game is fixed and was quite good. I had no problems after the fix. The game I think was rushed without checking it first but it does work now. So now I will give 3 stars instead of 5 because it had to be fixed which players do not deserve.

Glitch
Another game with a glitch during the trial. While I love these games by Elephant games, this one is leaving me with not wanting to purchase the game unless it’s fixed. The game freezes at the part in the dining room where you put the key in the door. You guys need to step up your Quality Control before releasing the game. I’ll re rate the game once it’s fixed. Yeah, they really ARE grasping at straws these days. And yes, it IS as stupid as it sounds. Skip it.
Nice graphics but very buggy
Each time I open the game, it displays the “unlock now” icon. I unlock it each time, but it still displays the icon. The worst problem is that it tends to freeze up. Back to the drawing board, guys.
Fun game
I just finished playing this game and I experienced absolutely no issues with the game play. The Hidden Object Puzzles were a bit different, and required some thinking and seeking skills. The Logic puzzles were logical, and not beyond solving. Did I solve all of them the first time? No. Did I need to skip any? No. The map is extremely helpful for transporting to locations. It also shows you if all the ‘extra’ objects still need to be found. Kudos to the artistic team hiding the puzzle pieces! They did a great job.
Shortest game ever/glitches
They fixed the major glitches so it barely works but seriously looking for a refund. This is the shortest game I have ever played. Not worth even $2. Don’t waste your money. It also was boring.
Snow White as Snow
Loved this game. I gave 4 stars because bonus game was a little clunky a few times. That still doesn’t change my overall approval of this game. Must buy, you will be entertained.
Will not unlock after purchase.
I purchased the game and tried to unlock it and it froze. I even tried restore purchase and still nothing. I checked my list of purchases and it shows I paid for the game. Please either fix the problem or refund my money. Thank you
Freezes
I am having the exact same issue as the other player’s. I remember the date of release was not yet due so i think it was released to early. Also my son while trying to help me noticed game development UI testing stuff. Sorry i am not a tech phobe but he said it was what the development team use creating the game, he said it is not finished. He is 16 wants to go into game development himself so knew what it all was straightaway. I look forward to playing it once its completed as i love your game’s. ……… Update….. Thank you so much for fixing the game. I have just completed it and it was a delightful story line which i really enjoyed playing. The bonus story was also good although shorter than usual.

Needs work. Freezes up when I insert the cross key in the door in the dining hall. Can’t play anymore.

UPDATE ~ Problem’s Fixed… Currently I am part of the way through the bonus game and everything is working correctly. I am enjoying the new storyline “take” on a classic fairytale. Thanks for fixing the issues. Great game! PREVIOUS ~ Programmer’s button showing in the upper left (Show / Hide Button)… Purchased successfully, but doesn’t show game unlocked… Freezes often and glitches… Was released a few days earlier than the App Store stated it would be… I think the extra few days should have been used to iron out all the problems… The game is impossible to play at this point in time…

The game freezes when you find the page. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it freezes at the same place, you can move via the map but u still can’t interact with anything in the game.

After waiting so long for this game to be available, it freezes up and always in the same part..I’ve tried restarting the iPad and re loading the game, but nothing works.

Updated review: The devs fixed the glitch promptly and the game works perfectly now, so please don’t hesitate to buy! It’s a great one in their lineup, I love the twist on the classic Snow White tale that reverses the roles and makes her the villain. Beautiful graphics, gorgeous scenery, and innovative HOPs made this an enjoyable experience!
Major Issues
Same issues as previously posted. Got 2 scene with 2 guards. One of their heads comes off. After this, the game is frozen. Restarting, reinstalling…. Nothing helps. Was excited to play this! So disappointed!

Spence I contacted the developers though there website, they have corrected the issues. I was able to reinstall the game and played Though the complete game. I was also able hit already purchased without any problems .
Frozen
I bought the game but it still shows “unlock”. The game froze with the guard so I restarted it. I could then put the door key in and the key disappeared and the door won’t open and the game is once again frozen. Do you not do any quality control before launching these games? Same problem with all developers in general. Please fix asap and update.
Can’t play
It freezes after the gard comes have to go out and clear history go back in. can play a little but freezes when the key come out of the lock on the door and then stays frozen. Please fix it, it looks like it will be a good game.
