My List
My app has put 5 different books in my listen to later list, that I do not plan on listening to, & there's no way for me to take them out. I'm deleting this app, because I don't want things in my list that I didn’t put in there. There's a better app, just like this one with pretty much the same stories, that I'm going to continue using.
Great but no downloads
The content on this app is really good and so easy to get through and it’s even better when there are series that are addictive. The storylines are great and the character development and the context and settings, but then on top of that the intimate details are a really high-quality. What would make this app way better is if they allowed for books to be download. They would make so much more money if people could get through so many more books and upgrade to a better plan to allow them to read more books because they were able to listen to books when they didn’t have access to Wi-Fi. Otherwise, you have to use up your data if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi. It’s really limiting. That means I can’t get through nowhere near as many books as I want to. What a waste of money for the developers, authors and readers.

I like the stories well enough. Not much smut but if my book starts to glitch and I get the circle of death; FORGET IT!!! I can’t keep listening!!!

No diversity.
All the characters on the covers look a little on the pale side. Tried to filter and found no selection. I would love this app other wise. Please be more inclusive

Poorly Written Content
Great spicy scenes but many of the books lack plot. Some are so poorly written that I couldn’t keep listening. I highly recommend if you enjoy easy to read no thoughts involved romance.
Price way up
I’ve enjoyed using Tempt for the past year but this most recent price hike is crazy! It was about $80 for 6 months, now it’s $55 for 3. Feels like they should give loyal subscribers a price break. Additionally, it’s frustrating that they let you ‘heart’ authors, but then don’t give you any kind of alert when new publications from one of your favorite authors has come up on the app.

No gay or lesbian books
They only have 2 free books that r lgbtq+. Very unfortunate, was looking forward to reading.
Enjoying so far
I’ve only had the app a week or so, and I’ve been enjoying it so far. I have only listened to one book, usually while I’m driving. So far, the only this I’m not a huge fan of is that it doesn’t save my spot in a chapter if I have to pause it and disconnect my phone from my car. I either have to start the chapter over or remember where I left off, which when I’m driving, isn’t a thing I’m able to do. I haven’t attempted a paid subscription yet, satisfied with the free options for the moment, but could see a potential for the subscription in the future, especially during the summer when I’m doing more driving.
Good idea, bad execution
I love the idea of a romance audiobook service, but the app is not done well. The search is not easy to use. The experience of actually listening is not great, the audio pauses unexpectedly throughout. And there is not option to download and listen offline! This is a huge detractor, since I mainly listen outside of the house. And finally, while they have a large selection, you won’t find any well known authors or narrators. I like supporting indie authors, but I also want to be able to find the ones from bigger names I’ve been waiting to read. Needless to say I will not be continuing after my free trial.
Poor functionality & misinformation
This app is okay—it clearly has some amazing authors in here. However, I'm not sure it's worth the cost, at this time. It's new, so maybe it'll still evolve and that'll change. At this time though, the app is extremely limited, functionality-wise. It crashes and glitches fairly often, so it's not my first choice as a listening app. BookFunnel, which I use for free, is far superior. Also, it doesn't seem to accurately list titles? I just binged a 5-book series and was VERY confused for 3 of those books ... before doing research online and realizing that Tempt has them numbered all wrong. I recommend looking up any series elsewhere instead of going by Tempt's information.

This app is great if you want masculinity shoved down your throat. World be a lot more encouraging if there were FF and not just MF or MMF type books, just about all the covers for these books are all super model males.

Does Not Work
So I subscribed and money was removed from my account. $31 in total when I only subscribed for weekly totals of $7.99, then it continues to tell me no active subscription and won’t sign me in. Waste of money.
It’s ok
I really enjoy the books and don’t mind the selection but what the price you have to pay it is extremely disappointing that there is no option to download and listen to them offline. And the fact that there is no actual search bar is frustrating. I will not be buying again

This app is a scam instead of asking like most apps do if you want to continue with a subscription they just automatically took the money from my account I tried getting my money back but just received a message saying my subscription ends in 3 months I deleted the app. if I want to pay for a reading app I’ll download audible it’s cheaper then this app.
