Not in Dictionary
So far after playing this game 87 times, we have encounter at least 10% of the words are not even in the dictionary. Makes this very frustrating to play. I believe these words are erroneous so that you have to use coins or watch their ads to solve the puzzle. Some examples; verry, tomoz, aline, chook, etc. Are the developers just plain illiterate? Save yourself the money and stick with the once a day NYT Wordle game.
Great game w/o ads
Updated review: sooooo, I can’t see the word if I don’t guess it right? Why??? Also, archaic and unreal words are still being used. Can’t say I like the new format, enjoyed seeing my ranking against other players. It is flashier than before, but not as user friendly. Love this game, paid to remove ads. Well worth it! Allows you to put letters in any box which helps a ton. Lost a star in review due to non usable words. So-so isn’t a word you can make, so why is it there? The developers said they were deleting non usable words but today I got intl. (short for international) HOW DO YOU PUT IN A PERIOD? Fix this problem, then it is perfect.
Bad App Advertisements that cannot be closed
I realize that these game apps make their money by selling advertisements. This game has more than its share but the game was still worth playing even with the ads. However, there are some ads like for “Figgerits” that cannot be closed after you watch the ad. You can try to wait it out but will never allow you to continue your game. You end up losing your progress on the current game when you swipe it closed and it can end your streak count. If these type ads continue to show up, it’s not worth playing and I will delete the app.

The update in my opinion ruined it. It went from a simple word guess game to a super colorful cheap effect word guess game.

Glitch
I have played this game for weeks, but right now I have a streak of 420 and I got an unsolvable word. The word starts with I N T L. I have tried every combination but the word is unsolvable and now I can’t play the game
Disappointed
I paid to have ads removed just before the update two months ago and then they came right back after the update. I enjoy the game but the ads are driving me crazy.
Game includes archaic words
I’ve had archaic words come up like “whoso” and “verry.” These are arguably not words since they’re not used in the English language anymore. If the developer would remove these archaic words, this is a 5 star game.

I have been playing this for a while and enjoying it, but lately there have been words that I would not call words at all. Today’s mystery word ended up being “srsly.”

Some of the words aren’t in English
I like the mechanics, but I got tired of the non-English words and the word segments taken out of context from quotes. With the many archaic words it stopped being fun.
It would get 5 stars if…
The words may have been taken from a crossword dictionary. Many “words” are not real words found in a dictionary. For instance: Tanto Ahull Secus Jildi Crapy Pomos Furth Gratz Thame Blige Howay are all “words” used in the game but are not in my English dictionary. If they fixed this major problem they’d get 5 stars.

Great Game with One Small Flaw
I love playing this, but after I’ve solved the puzzle there is no way to X out of the stats screen that pops up. I’d like to be able to see the board again afterwards in order to look over how many guesses it took me to solve it!
Needs work
Can be an enjoyable and sometimes learning game, however I got the word INTL. there is no period on the keyboard to write that word so trying to guess it was impossible. Punctuation should not be part of an abbreviated word and guessing that was annoying. BAKAW was another. Then they updated it and made it worse. Finally had to delete the app

I had a 565 game streak to only come up to the word INTL. ?? There is no such word, it is an abbreviation. PLUS, the period is not an available ‘letter’. Screwed up my whole streak as I had to forfeit the game and start at 0. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

A great mental test and I am good with word games. This the one I use as it lets you put letters in out of order to stat it partially spelled.

One Glitch
After guessing the correct word, a white square pops up & covers the game board. Even though one of the choices is to view gameboard, it will NOT allow that. Instead, it goes right to a page called STATS. Please correct ASAP. UPDATE: if you’re not going to correct the game to be able to view the gameboard, then at least correct the option to read “View Stats” because that’s what it does.
Please improve the App.
At first I gave this app 4 stars. I’ve reached a run of 80 consecutive successful solutions but now some of the words are increasingly obscure and not in common usage. The one I just did was “TOMOZ” which is slang.
Impossible Win
I loved this game so much and paid to play it ad-free. Even though some of the words were not real words, I figured them out by process of elimination and was on a 560 win streak…UNTIL the word intl. came up. I tried every letter at the end of intl and nothing worked. I had to lose my winning streak, and the word was revealed as intl. A period is not a letter and there is no option to insert one. This makes no sense at all!

There are plenty of 5-letter words in common language it shouldn’t need to resort to slang. Very disappointing.

I thought I had quite a good vocabulary until I lost to words like ‘yecch’ and ‘tomoz’. (I learnt early on that there were US spellings such as ‘color’. ) Having said all that, this is a good game - but addictive!

i had a 423 streak. i had the letters i, n, t, and l. i tried every letter for the last and nothing worked. when i gave up, it said the word was intl. but i was doing 5 letter words.....??!??
Fix the word database!
This is a cute app, fun to play, and scratches the itch of those that want to play Wordle more than once a day. My only issue, and it’s a HUGE issue, is that non-words come up far too often as what I’m searching for. Today I hit the most glaring issue: the word was “so-so”. There is no dash on the board - even if that was an ok word, that answer cannot be given in the game. I’ve also come across yehch as an answer, verry…. You get the idea. Get a database of legitimate 5-letter words, and you’ve got a winner. As it is, it’s sometimes fun, sometimes a lesson in frustration.

Crazy words
Alcon. Alcon is not a word. It is an abbreviation. Srsly is not a word. This is a WORD game. Obscure is one thing but this was impossible.
Mostly good
I’ve gotten a few words that were not common and extremely hard. My latest word was not even possible to guess. It was so-so but there is no option for a dash (-) Also when I used a hint it said the word started with an o but at the end the word was so-so. Overall fun and I will keep playing… but just know sometimes the words are extremely difficult and possibly impossible :(
Slang?
Be prepared for slang and words from old English testaments, obscure words, NAMES, abbreviations, and other oddities. Frustrating. Srsly was one of the words!
Addictive
Love playing but I have found a bug with the letter “o”. The game has made mistakes multiple times throwing me off. I hope it can be fixed.
Absolutely worst game ever
Uses slang, partial words and non words. The straw that broke the camels back: the word was Intl. and the period isn’t even on the keyboard. Other examples: Selly Example of use- a holiday is coming up and we’ll selly brate. If they don’t know the English language should they be developing games in English? Then I wasn’t allowed to give zero star rating.
I want to see my game
After I play I would love to go back and see my work but no way to do that. Please fix, yes, make me watch a commercial for it. Going to delete app soon if not corrected.
The best version of this game on the App Store
This is the only version of this game that allows you to click on a box and put the letters in and not have to go in order from left to right. I loved this game so much I paid to remove the ads, which I don’t do that often.
It burned onto my screen
I played this for about 30 minutes, and now the app is slightly burned onto my screen. Going on any other app shows this game very lightly in the background. Do not get it.
Advertisements Ruin the Game
Would be a great way to play Wordle continuously except for the ads after each and every game. Completely annoying!
