- Simple and easy to use quickly
What they complain about

- Videos often fail to save properly
- You must pay before trying video
Wonderful app
Thank you perfect I was happy to pay for the pro features with all that the app offers
Really like the App but the Zoom seems broken
Had a problem where .5x and 1x is the same view and that issue has persisted through several updates with my iPhone 17. April 2026 update: came back to check and as of update 1.91 the issue has continued
Almost great….
Almost great, just a few more tweeks. 1. Make it so that we can swipe to select multiple photos like on the native gallery 2. Add the ability to shoot diffrent modes using the volume keys. For example: volume up -picture Volume up long press- burst mode Volume down - video record start/stop 3. Allow gallery to be zoomed in and out so we can see more than just 2 columns at a time (like on apple gallery) 4. option to shoot with headphone control 5. Ability to use Apple Watch to live view what’s the app is seeing.
Works kinda
Works but a couple times now it stopped a video early, I don’t have any timer or anything, but one stopped at 17min and one stopped at 2min 44sec
I don’t know lolol
I cannot figure it out …

Video save
Great app if you love taking videos that don’t finalize and give you no option to access them!
Biggbosscam
V good
Videos nur in Pro Version für viel Geld möglich
Wieder gelöscht weil man in der free Version keine Videos machen kann.
Eh
It doesn’t show me how to hide my screen
Heyyyy
Yooooo
1x zoom needs to be fixed!
For iPhone 15, the zoom setting is still wrong!!
Higher camera quality
I have encountered blur when I use the shutter feature and the camera quality doesn’t seem as high as when I use the normal camera app I have a 16 pro btw overall the app is pretty good
Ok
It was pretty good but now it crashes every time I try and open the camera. Have tried reinstalling still crashes.

Love this app
It’s great app I bought video mode only thing Is theirs no 120/240 fps for slow-mo please add this feature 😭
Video data didn’t save
Video data didn’t save. Response was it’s “corrupted” and “unrecoverable”. Which probably means it just didn’t finish the final index/header, and easy fix if you were able to access the unfinished file. But instead, file sharing is disabled on this wonderful app! So when their app bugs and your video doesn’t properly finalize, you lose it completely! Don’t worry, the data is still there, your storage usage will reflect that, but you will have no way of accessing it because file sharing is disabled on this app. Therefore you will not be able to extract the data through a back up
is this ever getting 48mp support

Meh
Great app
Honestly great app, love the fact you can take pictures in secret but just wish that videos were free. That’s ok though. Love the app.
Weird
On longer videos I lose audio - which really doesn’t work for me. Not sure if this is a bug or affects only certain phones. For this reason the app is basically useless.
Everything is great
I wish it had a browser interface but besides that it's a solid app
Hate the Update
I hate the new update, why is there a small preview screen in the bottom. I liked the old version that screen is all black.
Sad
I don’t know how to put the privacy screen on😥
Easy to use
The easiest way to grab pictures like grandchildren because when I try to take a picture and to smile they make silly faces or don’t smile. This way I can capture candid pictures come out great without making a big fuss.
La crema
No me deja usar la. Cámara de videos
Green light
I really hate that upper faint green signal light persisting during black screen ,can you just remove it please?
Unbrauchbar
Hat nichts mehr mit discreet zu tun seit dem man den Bildschirm einfach nur kein sieht. Lächerlich
No Video
I was interested in this app for the video recording feature. I didn’t get to try it because I have to pay to try it. No thanks. NEXT!
Chingona
Es la mejor opción de grabar discretamente no te arrepentirás en la compra
Front camera video doesn’t record anything.
Paid user. I will update review when fixed
please enable RAW support
Great app, just needs quality selection for camera.
Not working
A small camera view player appears at the bottom of the screen. Defeat the purpose
camera in black screen
hey discreet admin wondering why there is a camera on the black screen page, kinda defeats the purpose no? Also will there ever be a 120fps update!!
Nice
Nice
The app stopped working
The app worked great for a few days. The recording feature no longer works using the volume buttons or taping the screen.
A Must-Have App for Privacy, but One Feature Is Missing
The Discreet app delivers exactly what it promises, providing a straightforward way to record discreetly. The core functionality works flawlessly, and the app is simple and effective. It's a great tool for anyone who needs to capture video or audio without drawing attention. I was excited to see that the app is also available on the Apple Watch, but after installing it, I noticed a significant missed opportunity. While you can launch the app from the app list, there's no option to add it as a complication to your watch face. Adding a complication would be a game-changer. It would allow users to start a recording with a single tap directly from the watch face, eliminating the need to navigate through the app directory. This would make the app even more convenient and, most importantly, even more discreet. I truly hope the developers consider adding this feature. It would elevate an already excellent app to an essential one for Apple Watch users.
question
The app shows a preview now of what the camera sees so it’s not discreet anymore. Also i cant change the custom image anymore so it’s stuck. App was a 5 star but since it shows what the camera sees, ruins the point of the app.
Video paywall, no camera stabilization
I was a little irritated to have to pay just a test video with this app, the pro upgrade makes it seem like you’re just upgrading to 4K from 1080 and to 60 frames from 24 or 30… but you’re unable to toggle to video from photo if you haven’t upgraded to pro. Perhaps I’ll get those doll hairs back. The bigger problem for me is that it doesn’t seem like video stabilization is happening. I’d really like to see more of the available camera settings to developers… stabilization, frame rates (24,30,60). Id also like the option of turning on a few pixels on the black screen to a color of my choosing to indicate recording is actually on ( tiny dark gray dot, or something). Because the green light stays on, this isn’t a true spy camera unless you were to cover that part of your screen up physically on your phone… but I was hoping for a way to capture video with a black screen, with the goal of reducing power consumption and heat while recording POV video. Volume up, record, volume down, toggle video preview?
Thank you very good
I love this
App deleted itself with my data
For no reason, the app was uninstalled with years of data from my phone. I was ok dealing with its bugs and limitations but this is unacceptable and should act as a strong warning to anyone considering this app.
Potential to be great
The app is a few features away from being perfect. Making it easier to change between front and back camera , allowing GIFS instead of just a photo to cover the screen. And lastly being able to change app icon on Home Screen.
Got charged double
No problems with the app, but when buying the pro version, i got charged double, ( not twice, but double)
iPhone 16 pro
I like this app, but it stopped working with ios26. Not only does it stop working it causes the camera app itself to go blurry and lock up, even when not using Discreet. The only workaround to use the camera is to delete this app or turn off its access to the privacy and security camera settings.
Works great for me
Works great for me. A handy App at a good price. A Recommended Pirchase.
the videos quality are poor
thanks for updating the 60fps but iphone 12 pro max videos quality are poor not clear
Good but much more to improve
First I had to purchase in order to try out the video. Otherwise there is no trial. The video is good, but somehow it is so discreet that I am not sure whether it has started or not. Swiping to switch not to user friendly. Summary the discreet recording certainly achieved its purpose. But app overall bot friendly enough
Safety
Can someone please reassure me that this app is safe and that my safety and privacy is not being compromised? Who are these photos and videos I record being collected by? If i grant access to my photos how can I trust that they will not abuse and take data from my photos that is private?
