Great app
Worked great for me, just started playing the One Piece TCG. Was told by staff to download the app and get set up for the tournaments. Didn’t have any issues at all.
Very bad
I spent 7 HOURS. trying to get into prereleases for op17 and by the time the app finally worked, they were all full

While the app is kinda complicated for a new comer once you get the hang of it it becomes a good app and as a casual player of dbfw playing one weekly event it’s pretty good app to use

Hard to believe Bandai really cares about its player base when their official app bugs out so bad on the time for sign ups that you can’t get into any local tournaments. Thanks Bandai

This app continues to hit new lows and disappoint their awesome fans, collectors, and players by making it slower and inconsistent for us. When is Bandai going to realize it’s not rocket science to address all these bugs. Do better guys please.

Not being able to sign in for a pre release event as a player who goes to regular locals 2 times a week is beyond insane all while spots fill up before your eyes

Could be so much better
Anyone saying they have a great experience with the app is conflating it with irl. The community is great (at least locally) and there are really amazing stores that care about the player base. Bandai on the other hand, could provide so much more support and practicality through their app. Not to mention how much the meta has shifted throughout this year. No doubt that catching up with Japan was a good move but essentially decimates a static deck throughout the year as players go from one meta to the next. All that aside, this app has so many random bugs. It seems awful for store managers to setup (though my local’s make it work). And they keep removing my favorite stores weekly events for seemingly no reason.
Nice app but buggy
Giving the app 4 stars because it’s great! MTG, Yugioh, and Pokémon should have similar ways to sign up for events and input / confirm round results. Downside of the app is it’s poorly optimized and super buggy. Good luck searching for an event. It’ll take you about 15 mins.
Sooooooo Slow
It is so finicky and when you reopen the app it takes you back to the start (when it is still in your app tabs) It takes like 30s-1m to see my pairings
Does the Job but…
It does everything you need it to do, in terms of pairing and signing up to events. However the APP itself is very basic for such a big company and TCG space. Would like to see the UI upgraded for a change and altho alot better than before it’s still very janky.

Signing In Typo
Come on this is an easy fix. I can’t sign in because one page consist of 4 fields asking for First Name, First Name, Last Name, Last Name. On the computer it’s actually asking for address so I kept getting error. Please fix this mess.
Generally good app!
Sometimes a bit laggy but generally works really well. One thing to have would be a way to clear all notifications in one go!

Do better
Wish I could give 0.5 stars cause man this app makes me furious. The search engine filtering and features are archaic. Can’t handle heavy traffic. Bugs everywhere. Ui/ux suboptimal.
I need a question answered please about this app
There is a bit of detail I am requesting but Google isn’t helping. This app has been updated with a new layout and I see a feature where you can check your last Digimon event at a store. Like your ranking wins and losses. I see that info from my stores page. But when I see more details it shows me my opponents and the results of them. There is one detail on that page I want to know about. It’s in small red print. It has the label win draw and loss. What does it mean? Can someone explain?

更新頻率有點太高了，常常在比賽前要點開QR code都會跳出要更新的通知，希望可以兩三個月一次，或是能有稍後更新這個選項，不然常常會拖到比賽報到時間，其餘的都還算滿意

Terrible app and a shame on Bandai
This app is absolutely terrible. Every single time there are tournament sign ups it crashes and/or goes into slowmo. The worst part is a recent tournament signup signed me out of my account and I couldn’t log back in. I didn’t even get the displeasure of waiting slowmo to not get into any events.
weird bug at login
many people have experienced this bug but they don’t realize there’s a really simple fix for it. you just need to log in and complete your profile on the website instead of the app: bandai-tcg-plus.com you’ll know your profile has been set successfully when you can see your username next to the mail icon at the top right of the screen. then you can log out of the app and log in again. this fixed it for me! hope this helps someone :)
Ok deckbuilding, horrible for big events
My friend was playing in the dusseldorf card fest, he did not receive a notificatiom for the round and as a result incurred in a game loss, he finished x-3, he could have played in the top of the following day but was robbed of the opportunity due to a lack of notification and an overall extremely bad organization of the event

The app is the worst
This app is the worst. It takes forever to load anything. Times out every search. I don’t understand how you can actually develop an app this bad. There a function to favorite a store. Do you think you could just go to a list of your favorite and view the events. No you can’t.

Whilst the new user experience is still hellish the app has been fixed enough to at least give it a second star but it still far from perfect.

Actually one of the worst apps I’ve ever used
I can’t believe a company worth $21.6 billion USD made an app this abysmal. A computer science major in the middle of Wyoming with a 4g router and basic coding could come up with a better app. The UI is awful and laggy, and god forbid you try to use the app for its intended purpose of signing up for a prerelease because that is not possible. The cherry on top is the constant crashes. This is just an embarrassingly bad app, and it’s disappointing to see a company not try to make it any better.
Why 2*?
So the reason why I gave it 2 stars is that I technically does it’s job. However it’s incredibly basic, horrible to use and I honestly can’t believe it’s an OFFICIAL tournament app. If possible please update and make it user friendly.
