MILKRUN is the best
Love MILKRUN super fast service and great at choosing replacement items, slightly more expensive than in store but worth it especially if your unwell or a new parent, also perfect for sending someone the food they were going to buy instead of giving them money. MILKRUN is totally the best thing ever
Worst delivery service I’ve used
Had a driver cancel on me when I was literally waiting outside a minute after he messaged me. I guess he left because I wasn’t outside the minute he arrived (about 10 minites before the estimated delivery time). I guess the drivers just dont care since they dont get rated. I’ve gone back to using uber since theyve never failed to deliver for me edit - lol at dev response, why bother several months after I posted this review? I can say now that I have not used milkrun since my last disappointing experience, and I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. Don’t use this app if you actually want to receive the items you ordered :)
Feedback
The app is great, loving it. I’m writing this with heavy disappointment that not all the international products are available on the app, especially Indian products! Any reason why? I could find a lot of Indian products in store but not on the app! Example: Indian Yogurt! Bru coffee, Indian tea and snacks! It should. your aim to accommodate people from every background!
Good concept, poor execution
Great app and service when you get a good delivery driver. Far and few in between, every order takes over an hour and don’t expect anything cold or hot to arrive anything but the opposite. Not worth it.

My MILKRUN always has a lot of stuff out of stock plus the delivery fee is just too much

I have been using MilkRun for a while now and have been so impressed with how reliable they are!! Any slight issues I have had have been resolved quickly and easily!!

So much has back soon. The ordered is always filled the furthest from me. Wait time is not as advertised. Door dash much better
They are competitive and a good system
Milkrun went bankrupt and Woolworths bought them out along side Jimmy Brings. This isn’t an independent anymore so don’t be fulled. It’s all part of the big monopoly.
Fantastic if you don’t mind paying more
I used MILKRUN several times before I realised much more you pay for each item. The Woolworths special don’t always apply so when you think you’re saving based on a add you’re not. Even the alcohol is significantly dearer
Live tracking
This is truly a great app but what puts me off every time is the horrible live tracking. You’ll never know how close your driver is because the car on the map will keep rotating in certain spots for a good 5 minutes… Other than that, everything is perfect…
So convenient
I use MILKRUN all the time. Super easy to do a quick meal order or fruit/veg/milk run and get it delivered within 30 minutes. Great specials ($1 chocolate anyone?) and prices are in line with the local Woolies prices - can’t go wrong!
Stupid App
Let’s you make the purchase of wine without ID, takes your money, makes you wait 1.5 hours for delivery then won’t give you what you paid for because they can’t scan your ID on your phone. They should verify your ID before taking your money. Stupid app
So convenient
If you need groceries in a hurry, this service is perfect! Pity the delivery cost is so high.
Slow and constant freezing
I only downloaded today, it’s incredibly fair prices, just it keeps freezing and it’s really annoying
SCAMMERS
driver dropped order off at wrong house, claimed to have called me and handed it to me when I heard and received nothing and MILKRUN not interested in resolving issue - been on hold for half an hour. Guess this single mum is out $150 and my toddler will miss out. Not cool.

This app is a waste of time. Prices are higher than in store, drivers have several deliveries, tracking doesn’t work, address pin told driver I was 700m up the road, high delivery fee, delivery time doubles, can’t call driver, support spent 16 minutes trying to call driver, driver said they were delivering for Uber?
Freezing issue
For 2 weeks now I’ve been unable to use my MILKRUN app as it freezes when I try to check out. I have to resort to Uber eats Coles. & I’m really annoyed at this point as I’ve been using MILKRUN as my regular grocery shop for 2years now.
Notifications on IOS devices doesn’t work
Across the last few purchases on different devices, and app up to date, notifications no longer occur

Fake promotion
Registered as new customers and can’t find the promotion, asked agent and get no useful answers, 草台班子 app.
Tracking is really poor
The in-app delivery tracking has suddenly become really poor. I’m getting notifications that my delivery is about to arrive, when the map is showing the driver is streets away. It used to be great.

I have an older iPhone, and I can’t update app. When I go to MILKRUN either online or via my app I’m told “update now”. So I try to and it takes me to app which says “open”I click “open” and it returns to “update app”—- it’s an endless damn IT loop. Bewdy. I presume my phone is too old, but I don’t want a new phone just yet as I’m on a low fixed income. Every other important app enables me to update. (“Built in obsolescence” ; the big capitalism con, making the uber-rich and their shareholders, even wealthier.) I was a fairly regular customer and have recommended MILKRUN to friends who use it. on a low fixed income, but I am no longer welcome.

Hi - Joined MILKRUN as was unwell and noticed special offers for first time users. Have since used 4 times and have found the service to be amazing. App is great - items came to house fast. Had zero problems - in fact - I love it. Don’t understand the bad reviews for MILKRUN on other review sites. Highly recommend. :)
Scammers
I am extremely disappointed with MilkRun. I was charged twice for a single order, and the only explanation I received was that the first charge was a “temporary authorisation” and the second was the actual payment. This is the first time I have encountered a business charging customers this way, and there was no clear warning before the payment was processed. From a customer’s perspective, it simply looks like you’ve taken the money twice. What makes this even worse is that I still haven’t received my money back. It’s unacceptable to hold a customer’s funds without making the process transparent or resolving the issue promptly. Instead of acknowledging how concerning this is, customer service gave me what felt like a scripted explanation rather than addressing the actual issue. Your payment process lacks transparency, and the way this was handled has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
Not impressed
I downloaded the app, used it once & was not impressed. I use my iPad for everything due to the larger screen but the app is designed for a ph so it’s useless on the iPad as it’s too small, it’s ph size not iPad size. The website runs slow & easily gets overwhelmed when something needs to be changed like an address. Delivery drivers only get part of the address, as in the street number but not the unit number, why? I provide the entire address. Can someone please explain why it costs so much more at Milkrun? It’s run/owned by Woolworths, it comes from the nearest Woolworths store, it’s in Woolworths bags & picked by Woolworths staff yet everything costs more than buying directly from Woolworths. How can Milkrun be out of stock of something that is in stock at my local store, the same store the items come from? Woolworths if you are reading this then get your act together & provide a better Milkrun app & website!

Always missing items
The staff can’t put together simple lists. I ordered 5 items including milk and they missed 2. I got 3 items and no milk. The drivers don’t check. I mean it is absolutely ridiculous. Deleting the app. Useless!
Why all the push ads?
I like the service but will need to delete the app because I keep getting push notification promos of food even with all preferences off. It’s not useful, it’s annoying and badly targeted.
Cosmetic changes
They have made some UI improvements like "order again" (a basic feature any delivery app has and easy for devs to build). However, logistically still flawed since user can't indicate one or two "must-have items" which will cancel the order if a suitable substitute cannot be arranged. If I'm preparing a hamburger meal for example, it's fine to substitute or cancel the lettuce but please don't cancel all the meat, at least ensure there's a substitute. I understand it creates more work when such an order is cancelled but it should be minimal if your app estimates stock well and the agent goes immediately to the must-have item. For that reason, I reluctantly had to stop use the app.

I cannot up date your app on my phone four attempts no luck ..So I can’t shop with which is such a inconvenience to me
Failing in accessibility
When you set pin on delivery, meet at door, and literally cannot walk up a flight of stairs due to disability...and the driver can somehow still deliver up a flight of stairs to no human and go on with their day - that means there is something VERY wrong with this app. I don't know how DoorDash drivers get this right 95% of the time - yet your drivers are the reverse. I have had multiple issues with this aspect of your service over the years, and I was blamed for getting it wrong whenever I didn't use pin on delivery. Yes. Called to let them know and a $15 off my next order was the only thing offered. No team leader available to offer to help fix the problem going forward. A vague they will "log the problem" with no reference or ticket number provided. Yeah nah. $15 off another order that doesn't make it to my door in an accessible way? Not worth a thing to me. Make your service accessible, prove it, and you might get me back as a customer. Seriously mate. Do better.
Not worth the hassle
- can’t select your own substitutions so the staff take wild guesses at what you might want instead of your selected item - minimum spend makes it less convenient than uber eats if you are just after an item or two -item prices are higher than just ordering through Woolworths for delivery -drivers often take so long or do not read the delivery instructions that you may as well have made the trip yourself. It would save you ten minutes and the embarrassment of fetching your groceries from your neighbours
Convenient sometimes, usually very slow.
A semi convenient app. They advertise "food delivered in minutes", which is sometimes true but most the time I find myself waiting for an hour or more just for some food. It would be much faster to take a car and avoid their $25 minimum spend fee and expensive delivery fee. Wouldn't recommend if you don't have the time.
Best grocery delivery app out there
Use this service regularly and local store pickers are fantastic always get the items I order plus subs are great and amazing that I can now choose my own preferred subs or leave it up to best choice by shopper. Always gets delivered within 30-40mins each time and if there is an issue for any reason updates are amazing plus the the code sent to email if they cannot deliver in promised time for free delivery. Also really enjoying the emails sent after not ordering for some time. Keep up the good work and please market more in ares you offer service as a much better alternative to Woolies delivery now
Get with the times
Woeful. Items always out of stock, such limited selection. Honestly, why don’t you let users manually choose other stores? The store is automatically set to one that doesn’t have anything! How long does it take to update your inventory to actually match the store inventory?cant tell you the amount of times I’ve rolled my eyes not being able to get anything I want on the milkrun app. May as well just go to the store myself, honestly get with the times.
Above market price and rubbish delivery guys
Despite having clear instructions in the order about delivery to unit , many times my order is just left outside the building unattended. All products are above Woolworths price plus the delivery . Why can’t you just sell products on fair price . I never recommend to use unless life emergency
Best delivery App
Great delivery app and always keeping on post before delivered even when you cannot make it or don’t have time to make it to the shop. It’ll add up the price altogether with delivery fee cost rather than charging delivery cost fee before the end of your purchased. I’d recommend it.

Unable to use app anymore as it can’t update on my phone I have an iPhone 8 and it won’t take the update 😖

There’s barely any stock available in any of the categories, appears to be a glitch as ordering off the official Woolworths website has very different stock
