Great app with female reciters and Quran translations
The app lets you listen to female reciters from all over the world. You can even download recitations now! It connects to Quran.com now and lets you view multiple translations. The app design is also very beautiful!
Couldn’t get it to work
The player doesn’t work so I can’t listen to any of the recitations. Everything loads but none works.

I really love this app and I am so excited to learn from Muslim women reciters. I took off one star due to the audio not working for a few days now. I think there is a glitch in the system …
Vérifier les récitations
Je pense que la récitation de Khadidja Azdad dans la Sourate Al Balad n’est pas bonne. J’ai cru entendre des fautes de prononciation. L’application est une très bonne initiative mais il faudrait vérifier les recitatrices qui y sont ajoutées afin de ne pas nous mener dans l’erreur, car cela peut être très grave

I just want to say thank you to ustadha Maryam Amir for creating this app as a female Quran student, I’ve been a student of the Quran my whole life and this is my first time being exposed to so many different female qaria’s. I honestly feel so inspired hearing the beautiful and amazing voices of these women from around the world and also hearing recitations in some of the different qira’aat! It unfortunately will not work for me! It keeps telling me I do not have internet! I really wanted to check this app out let me know if I could do anything to fix it. Jzk.
Beautiful Recitation
The sound of Quran is beautiful regardless whose reciting it, but to hear other women is truly inspiring Allahumma Mubarak
Beautiful app.
I love being able to hear female reciters. It makes it much easier to try and improve my recitation instead of trying to copy a male voice. I wish they had an option to adjust playback speed, then it would be 5stars from me.

Il y’a un soucis depuis quelques temps on ne peut plus ajouter de sourates dans la catégories « favoris » il faut les chercher manuellement.

The App is good but could do better
I wish it had more options. I wish there was page of the Quran and it translation instead of a nature video play or blank green blue color. I also wish the Ayats were closer to read because it far and the white color blends well with the video playing in the background plus must of the recitations doesn’t have any verse like Zaynab. But all it’s a good app although it can do better and May Allah bless the people who help make this app. Amin
Can’t connect to internet?
Assalamualaikum sister! I downloaded the app but unfortunately it’s only showing the reload page, even after i tried cellular data, and i deleted and reinstalled. I’m really interested in this app so please let me know if there’s something i can do 😊
My New Favorite Qur’an App
The updates to the app are fantastic allahumma baarik. You can read the mishap (several options) and save your ayahs. But, there is a problem with how the ayah are matching up to the English translation. In Surah Maidah from pg 121 or so, the English translation displays for the wrong ayah. In sha Allah they will correct it. May Allah give them success. Amen
Great App!!
MashAllah love the App!!! Love hearing female reciters! My kids enjoy it too. Only complaint is I wish it would save your spot where ever you left off listening so you dont have to restart the surah every time.

Every time I download this app, my phone starts glitching like crazy and acting weird. I just want to listen to the recitation, but it keeps messing up my phone:(

Extremely helpful
I love this app so much because it helps me perfect my recitation. I love that I can hear women recite and be able to implement that into my own recitation. I do have one minor suggestion. I really wish there was a feature where we could read along with their recitation. It would be really helpful in terms of fluency and tajweed. It would be really awesome if the developers could add this function!
Constructive criticism
It’s a great idea and I hope Allah rewards you all for the hard effort and dedication. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review, but I felt this was something that touched me deeply and I really hope to see it flourish in the best way possible. I admire the diversity and encouragement. I would however like to mention that the Quran should be read in a certain way with very accurate pronunciation and I believe posting certain readers for the sake of diversity although very noble and probably done with pure intentions, does not present the Quran in the way it should be presented. Also I admire the idea of having recordings from old women who have passed away. The quality of these recordings however are very poor and may better serve in a tribute section created for that specific purpose. I am sure there are many talented Female Egyptian readers out there that you can reach out to who would be thrilled to join this project. Last but not least I am not a fan of the recordings for just certain aya’s. I would very much enjoy being able to listen to the whole surah and hopefully one day the whole Quran by a single reader that I connect with if possible. Again this is meant as constructive criticism and by no means meant to belittle your effort on this very much needed project.

My daughter and I love it
I love this app and my 11 year old daughter also loves it and thought it was so cool that there were so many female reciters from so many different countries. Would love it if it had the Quran text along with the recitation, for reading along, and a resume option but this is a great start. Jazakum Allahu khair.
Ramadan Gift
This app was suggested by a friend in my community when I requested others’ favorite reciters to listen to during Ramadan this year. It has been such a beautiful gift and I am beginning to feel more and more connected to the Holy Qur’an and the Beloved Prophet (PBUH) in receiving the gifts of these recitations in all their beauty.
Amazing concept - minor changes would help!
I LOVE the idea of having an app for female reciters. It was always hard for me to follow along with qaris because make voices are so different from female voices. Now I have people to look up to :) However, the user interface is not very friendly - it’s difficult to navigate. Here are my suggestions: 1. A search button!! 2. You should be able to navigate the app while listening to the Quran in the background. Rn, whenever you exit out of the recitation screen the recitation stops 3. You should be able to navigate from a Surah to a reciter. For example if I’m listening to a specific Surah by a specific reciter, I should be able to click on that reciters name to take me to the screen where it shows all of the suwar from that reciter

I love listening to women reciters for the first time in my life consistently. I’m especially impressed by the diversity of reciters— from so many countries and women with disabilities! Jzk to Shaykha Maryam and the Qariah team for organizing this and dedicating so much time to help women connect with the Quran

I am so excited for this app and it’s release with Ramadan. there are more qariah on here than i ever knew!! the only reason i took a star off is because i think a few more features are needed. for example, i’d love to still listen but be able to switch to a different app, like a mushaf app to be able to follow along or if the text is built into the app to follow along there. in sha Allah with future iterations of the app but i am happy to have access to this level of the app as it is. may Allah bless those who created it as well as all the reciters included in the app.
