Pacing is too slow without ads
The game was fun for the first zone, but then it slows down a lot unless you watch two ads every five minutes. I’m happy to support the developers, but the frequency needed to make the game enjoyable is too much. Gave it three stars because at least the ads aren’t forced.

Super fun until the 2nd island
Was enjoying the game a bunch and even spent about $30 over the last 2 months on scarabs to ship waiting to build resources to upgrade using research. But the 2nd island is just stupid. It introduces a new red ant that has a queen is preforms dramatically under what it should. By the time I hit the second island I was producing about 100aac ants per minute. But the red Queen starts at 13aaa a minute and the first resource needs you to spend 13aac ants to start a continuous farm after you spend 3aac to mine it 2x. So just for understanding it goes value units I, b, t, aaa, Aab, aac etc. so the red queen starts producing 1000x under what you need to start your hive with the first resource. Unfortunately even if I could tap at the fastest speed and earn 1.2aaa ants for each tap. I would have to continuously tap my screen 3x a second for 5 hrs just to start building my hive. The game is now unplayable and I don’t think I will be playing it again. Take my advice don’t progress the game too fast. Or you screw your enjoyment as a afk game.
