Elevates Product to the Next Level
I bought this Zwilling product because I loved the idea of being able to keep track of leftovers and produce to reduce food waste but then I learned that you are getting rid of the app in December. Please don’t do this!!
Einfach enttäuschend
Vom alten Renomee, der Marke Zwilling ist nichts übrig geblieben. Die Messer waren früher in meiner Familie alternativlos. Jetzt hatte ich ein Toaster gekauft: kaputt in der Garantie, der Wasserkocher – Rückrufaktion. Für die Vakuum Aufbewahrung wird das Support über die App eingestellt. Wirklich nur noch mies

Not functioning as it was designed.
Pretty sure the notification is enable but never seen a single notification about food is going to expire. If it worked with smart home device(eg.Homepod) it would be much better.

Update 25.07.2026: In App Message: App wird zum 31.12.2026 eingestellt. Na super. Was ist dann mit den QR Codes auf den Dosen?!? Wenn man schon eine App anbietet, dann muss man schon auch Ausdauer haben. Echt arm. Ich kaufe jetzt erst mal keine weiteren Schalen dazu. —————————— Zumindest habe ich mit der App schon mal angefangen meine Freezer-Inhalte zu speichern. Allerdings ist die aktuelle Version recht rudimentär und wenig flexibel: Man MUSS Boxen oder Tüten von Zwilling verwenden. Bereits vakuumiertes wird in einer nicht verwendeten Box gespeichert. Das Ablaufdatum interessiert mich nicht, ich möchte das gern ausblenden. Keine Massen-Operationen, man muss alles einzeln bearbeiten. Lagerort muss bei jedem item immer wieder neu gewählt werden. Leute, das Ding hat so viel Potenzial, aber macht es flexibler und pfiffiger. Was spricht z.B. gegen eigene QR Codes?

JWT token expired for all SSO options.
I was previously signed in via apple SSO in UK but it signed me out and now I can’t sign back in with my original account. It’s been broke for week and yes I have tried reinstalling. Please fix it. Half the fresh and save experience is based around this app and the QR code

La app è buona ma si sconnette subito appena là si smette di usare e poi ogni volta bisogna inserire da capo mail e psw. Uffi.
Nervige Menuführung
Warum ist nach dem Scannen der Box das Hinzufügen des Inhalts so kompliziert und unlogisch gestaltet? Im Resultat zeigt die App Lebensmittel als abgelaufen an obwohl die noch gar nicht den Weg in das Gefrierfach gefunden haben. Weiter schickt die App zigfach Erinnerungen zu einer Box obwohl eine Nachricht ausreichend wäre. Schwach

Gute App aber mit fehlenden Funktionen
Insgesamt gefällt mir die App sehr gut. Allerdings funktioniert die Einkaufsliste nicht zuverlässig – es werden regelmäßig einige Einträge gelöscht. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn leere Behälter einfach als Einkaufspunkte zur Einkaufsliste hinzugefügt werden könnten. Zudem fände ich es praktisch, bei den Containern die Menge oder Stückzahl angeben zu können die sich im Behälter befinden. Braucht man ja manchmal. Die Datumseingabe ohne automatische Berechnung ist etwas kompliziert anzutippen. Ich nutze die App auch, um andere Lebensmittel zu tracken, und da wäre es sinnvoll, eine Gesamtmenge anzeigen zu lassen, statt jedes einzelne Produkt einzeln eingeben zu müssen.

Não consigo login usando ‘Login with Apple’
Tenho registado a minha conta no site com o Login with Apple, MAs essa opção não está disponível na app! Então não consigo aceder à app porque não se consegue usar a password e login. Mesmo fazendo ‘esqueci me da password’ e colocado uma nova o problema mantém-se.

User Friendly
Very straightforward and easy to use. Only have been using a week or two, but it’s does what it was meant to do.
Forced identity verification
This used to be great. Now every time I use the app I get a notification ’guest login is no longer available’. I’ve tried many times to create an account, on phone and computer. I always get an error. I also then get a notification ‘identity cannot be verified’. I have no idea why a food storage app would need to verify my identity. I spent a lot of money on swilling products based on the previous app, and they are now almost useless other than as ‘traditional’ vacuum bags.
One recommendation
Rather than full, medium, low it would be really helpful to be able to customize this information for example number of portions or how many oz are in the bag

Needs improvement
The system with the vacuum sealer is not sealing food in freezer adequately, the bags always loose some vacuum, which doesn’t happen with pantry items. Also, the app needs improvement. It’s not intuitive and can’t be customized. The item list that are suggest are not sufficient and pretty basic, one should be able to customize those. Overall it’s ok, but there’s the risk of not using the app because it’s not that intuitive.

Great App and Great Product. Helps keep the pantry and freezer organized. Great for recording the stock and freshness of food storage.
App does not work with bags
App scans the barcodes on the containers fine but not the bags.. it will scan them when the bag is empty and flat but once the bag is vacuum with food it does not recognise the barcode.. kind of defeats the purpose as I can’t check the content by scanning.. I have to check the code against a list.. you should have made the top of the bag oversized so the code is printed above the zipper on plastic that is not under vacuum! I will ditch the app and write my own numbers on the bags! iPhone 14pro, latest IOS, latest App.
App super Zubehör ausbaufähig
Die App selbst ist super alles lässt sich super verknüpfen. Was ich super finde ist auch, dass beim Scannen von NFC oder QR direkt das Produkt geöffnet wird und nicht nur eine Kategorie. Was ich mir noch wünschen würde wären Gefrieretiketten mit QR Code. So könnte man z.B. auch gekaufte TK Produkte einfach in die App aufnehmen. Auch Beutelclips mit NFC Tag wären super.
An app with a lot of potential
It's cool on the surface when you first start using it, but once you try to put it to work the limitations come out. By far the biggest issue is when you store a food item, there's no way to store information about the item. They give you an optional description box but it doesn't work if you enter in more than a sentence because it will only scroll the very first time you create the item and enter the text. After saving, it will not scroll anymore. Storing pancake mix and wanna save the instructions? Not gonna happen. Storing protein powder and want to save a picture of the nutritional facts for reference? No way to do that. Even if you made it the item photo, that can't be enlarged bigger than a thumbnail so it wouldn't be readable. If you do use their description box, make sure you hit save before tapping anything else or it will delete everything you wrote - though sometimes it will do that anyway. Right now the only way reliable way to save information about an item is to save photos or text in a separate app or location somewhere which kind of defeats the purpose of the whole "store the info using NFC" idea because the only useful information from scanning is the expiration, which you have to calculate yourself or use the default 2 years. When you save food in a bag, they give you the option to select the type of food and location (freezer, fridge, pantry, etc) that's in the bag and they'll determine the expiration using that info. While the food options they give you are super limited right now and need to be expanded, this is a great feature. The NFC dry food storage needs the expanded version of this feature, otherwise without this and the ability to add more product details, ingredients, photos, nutritional info... I really don't see the point of the NFCs at all which would be a disappointing missed opportunity for something great. The ability to have recipes suggested based on what you have is so brilliant and reminds me of myfridgefood where you could input the food you have in the website and it would tell you all the things you can make. That itself was an awesome idea, then to connect it to Fresh and Save? Could be such a game changer! But unfortunately it really doesn't work at all and most of the "meals based on what you have" are composed of 90% ingredients I do not have. Another missed opportunity. The concept behind this app and the whole Fresh and Save system is so awesome and it has so much untapped potential, but in its current form it's a marketing gimmick. I really hope the Zwilling team sees that potential and fixes this in the next update.
Füllstand Anzeige nicht änderbar
Nach der ersten Eingabe und Befüllung der Boxen alles super. Aber man entnimmt den Boxen ja auch etwas, macht sie wieder zu und möchte die Menge aktualisieren, wird aber nicht von der App übernommen. Heißt, ich muss das komplett neu scannen und eingeben? Wenn ja, absolut userunfreundlich.

Disappointed
I love my bags that have a valve for removing air. I bought the set and it includes 2 plastic storage boxes. I am devastated that it takes air out and 5 mins later seal breaks. Can not make them work. Have no receipt or box. Back to shop. No joy 😟
Great App
This is a great app. I really like how it notifies me of items that’s about to expire. It helps with meal planning too, when I can view what all I have sealed in a list. Would be nice: Keep my previous labels, so I don’t have to type out Strawberries every week Give some caution on things Ex: Grapes vacuum in a bag is not okay, they will get smushed and deformed. I did not know this 🤷♀️ I’m not sure how the recipe section is supposed to be helpful with the “items I have”. It doesn’t actually use the items I have but give generalized recipes on broad categories. Ex: You like vegetarian meals and you have a veggie bag in the freezer, so try this tasty recipe…I just have broccoli and the recipe suggestion doesn’t list broccoli.
Can’t sort into locations
Would be so helpful for organizing food but it won’t let me sort food into my added locations (like a deep freeze) so it doesn’t help keep track of where anything is and therefore feels pointless.
Love the products, but app so-so
I added the starter set I have, I box, 2 small bags, 2 medium bags. Added first produce in small bag, added a 2nd produce to 2nd small bag (by scanning the code on the bag) and the app said I already had a item and if it was eaten or to replace it. Why does the app not know I have 2 bags? Also when adding an item without scanning container or bag, it labels the item as container box. This should be fixed. I’ve ordered duplicates of more bags and containers, hopefully the app will recognize how many I have. The app would be great if I can manually add the products (box, bags) I have or edit the type of container an item is in. As an added feature, it would be good if I could identify when food was purchased, when I stored it and what or if item has an expiration date. The calculate date is not as intuitive, every time I re-save, it changes the day minus one day. Example, I stored first time today, saw 10 days, I reviewed the item in app, then it showed 9 days, and looking at item a 3rd time, now it displays 8 days. All within 15 minutes of playing with the app.
Keeping Track Of Food Is Easier Than Ever
I absolutely adore my ZWILLING, fresh and save. This app makes it all work so seamlessly. I can keep track of how old the food is. It sends me reminders of when I need to start using food that I’ve sealed and entered into the app. I no longer have to worry about forgetting what I have in the refrigerator. It’s a really efficient app.

Great App…..But…
Installed this app when I purchased the Zwilling Food Saver system. Absolutely LOVE the product and have purchased several extra containers and bags. The app was terrific. - easy to use and made keeping track of what was in the various containers organized. All was great until my phone did an update and ALL of the entries in this app were erased. Very frustrating and disappointing to say the least. Hoping that Zwilling will work harder on the app to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
Storage keep food fresh!
I love this product! I love fruits especially strawberries blackberries raspberry. No more moldy fruit after a day or two. Now it’s been a week and it’s still fresh.
The app has become useless after first use
I was only able to scan and enter foods once. Now it takes ages to load the Save screen and if after 5 minutes it loads you basically can do nothing with it.

Funktioniert nicht einwandfrei
Leider ist es mir nicht möglich, Familienmitglieder meiner Familiengruppe hinzuzufügen. Sie scannen den Code auf meinem Handy, und bekommen dann die Meldung, dass dies keine gültiger QR-Code sei.
Schöne aber aber Bluetooth Problem
Derbys informativ und bietet viele zusätzliche Funktionen für den Alltag wie zum Beispiel Einkaufslisten. Leider wird mir angezeigt, dass mein Bluetooth nicht eingeschaltet ist, daher kann ich den Standmixer nicht updaten. Bluetooth ist an. Und auch der Zugriff der App auf Bluetooth ist gewährt. Wäre schön, wenn man das lösen könnte.

App is horrible
I love the vacuum sealer, but this app is close to worthless. I can’t scan anything, I can’t select what storage container I am using, and I can’t specify whether the product is in the fridge, freezer, or pantry. Basically is just let’s me know what I have and how old it is. So still useful, but very annoying.
App läuft noch nicht rund
Im großen und ganzen bin ich mit der App zufrieden. Allerdings spinnt es bei mir sehr häufig bei den Fotos. Wenn ich etwas anlege kann ich erst nachträglich das Foto machen und dann übernimmt er es nicht immer. Manchmal muss ich den Vorgang dreimal wiederholen, dass nervt schon sehr. Also hier gerne nochmal nacharbeiten, dann bekommt ihr definitiv 5 Sterne😊 Lg
Dates change
Just migrated to the “new” app and added my groceries into containers and scanned them into the app. The use by date is populated based off the apps suggestion. By the time I was done adding all items the dates had changed all over the place. I had two separate containers of mushrooms added at the same time. By the time I was finished. The use by dates were completely different for both containers. Fix the app, the features promised with this product do not deliver.

Aber leider nur für iPhone , bitte für iPad nachreichen . Ich nutze ein iPad in der Küche als Rezeptbuch ,Musik, Einkaufsliste usw… da wäre die Zwilling App eine Bereicherung .
