DEI in Action
Lame news station. The ‘reporters’ are everything you would never want in a reporter. Voices like nails on a chalkboard and appearances resembling the Golden Corral at dinner time. Very anti American. News cast usually lead with how the illegal invaders can escape ICE. And they wonder why their audience is dwindling.
Apple TV app audio, live streaming issues
Since the FCC bans viewing the Tucson TV stations (30 miles away) via satellite, the only way to view Tucson stations where I live is using streaming. The KVOA Apple TV app audio level varies depending on whether it is showing the live broadcast or ad replacements. Some ads are too soft and some are WAY too loud. Frequently the app thanks me for watching a "prerecorded" broadcast even though I'm watching a live broadcast. Other times it thanks me for watching the "live" broadcast. The app even gets confused whether to show the live broadcasts or the ad replacements, even interrupting an in progress broadcast. App and/or the live streaming architecture need a major upgrade to be reliable.
Local news
I feel like we get an accurate synopsis of local news. We personally like NBC for world wide coverage. Thank you.
Way too many adds
Application has a ridiculous amount of adds. Having to watch 10+ adds to get through some of these stories is a bit excessive.
Unreliable
This app works a small fraction of the time. Save the space on your device and don’t bother with it.
Feeling the storyline
I have the App and play it every morning and every time I see a message from it. I have come to realize that listening and reading the full story is very important. Thank You KVOA for your great reporting.
