Tigger
Getting quite a few Spam calls coming through! They should be blocked? What’s the problem!
Now gives people the option to get around call screening
Used to be screened called went straight to voicemail. Now it gives them the option to get around the screening. No way to turn this function off it looks like.
Needs variable string blocking.
I like most features but I want to be able to block all non-US numbers, certain area codes, and any number based upon first portion. It should handle wildcards like +1 (480) 908-6??? OR +1 (480) 908-* for blocking purposes.
My contact list
I have loved this app for a long time. But recently, I added aloud numbers to my Robo allow list. All of a sudden, my iPhone contact list has changed. If I pull up a name and send a message as I have been doing for years, it shows me the last message I sent to a different person. At the top, the name of the person I’m texting is not there. It just says “allowed to” list. There is no reason why this app should be interfering with my iPhone contact list. Sometimes when you’re about to send a message and you want to make sure that you were sending it to the right person for privacy reasons, you need to look up and see who you are actually texting. Any person in my contact list that I have put on the Nomorobo “allowed” list, their name has disappeared, and I cannot see who I am texting. Will someone please contact me to explain this to correct it or I am going to get out of this app. The app should not be allowed to mess up my iPhone contact list.
Concerned Customer
Great at blocking spam calls, but I don’t need anyone screening my personal contacts and voicemails . If a name is listed on a phone number from my contacts, there is no need for screening !!
I love this Brand!!
I’m in Cybersecurity, and I recommend Nomorobo!
More trouble than it’s worth
Terrible app. Constantly prevents calls from coming through that are in my contacts. Essentially it eliminates junk calls by eliminating almost all calls. Why bother having a phone? Periodically eliminates calls from my wife and family.
Good, but
I like what it does but I still can’t figure out how to answer the phone. I searched online for a tutorial but there is zero information on how to actually use this. About ready to let it go.
VM text impossible to read!
Text is so tiny it is illegible, and copy or zoom in is not allowed. This illustrates well the thoughtlessness of the design of this app: it is an insult! Call blocking works quite well, and as the developers polish up some of the app quirks this could deserve more stars.
Good but flawed
Occasionally it now blocks a legitimate number, one that I already had called. This is a new issue and should be addressed.
Excellent Defense
I was constantly receiving text messages from unknown persons who where acting like they knew me. I never responded to these of course, but the constant intrusion was maddening. Thanks to Nomorobo, no more scammers acting like they know me.
Greeting
Is there a way to avoid the Nomorobo reference in the greeting? It treats all callers as a stranger and could be viewed as an endorsement by the law firm of your services.
Ludacris
Good job
Not catching AI calls
Please stop AI solicitation calls that can change phone numbers and can generate the tone for “press 1” to get past the screening.
Nomorobo Max Spam Call Blocker
Nomorobo did an excellent job blocking telemarketing calls. I highly recommend Nomorobo Max Spam Call Blocker for anyone who wants to block telemarketer phone calls.
Best call blocker
Excellent service
Desperate & needy
They are so desperate for a good review. Every time that I open the app, they’re wanting a rating, so here it is.
Blocks really good
I like how it blocks suspected spam calls.
I still get harassing robo calls
Don’t waste your money
Updates have made it laggy
Still works well but the last few updates have made the app really laggy and slow to do anything. Clicking on a number in the history now takes 30 seconds or more to open call details.
Love this app
Honestly this is better than the original app because it actually blocks all the spam callers from getting through 100% recommend.
Cancel Subscription
I cancelled my subscription 30 seconds after my free trial and am being charged for an entire year with an expiration date of Aug 2027. That's not right! I'm not happy...
Works well so far.
EDIT: Would be very helpful to have an audible alert when call is being screened. Thanks for adding the paste ability! ************************ I like it so far, but it lacks one very needed convenience ... The ability to copy and paste a phone number in the Look Up feature. I do hope that will be added soon.
Blocks calls I need
Frustrating experience with Nomorobo. I still recieve about 2-3 spam calls a day (was getting about 8-10 calls prior), while also not getting calls from doctors offices, the school nurse, that I need! Very frustrating. Cancelling service as I’m missing too many important calls.
Kevin Kling
This app is amazing and works extremely well. And I love the ability to go back and see what the call was about and you can respond if needed. LOVE IT!!
Doesn’t Work Anymore
This service used to work great and block 100% of spam calls with no issues for several years. Starting this year, in the last 6 months, it no longer blocks all spam calls. I still get a couple per day. Before support responds saying “I don’t have it set up correctly,” I assure you I do have it set up correctly. This service is no longer enough to block spam, and no, I’m not upgrading to the “max” plan for 3 times as much per year as a solution. Either Nomorobo’s database is no longer sufficient or spam calls have gotten a lot more sophisticated with evading blockers, I will update this review if this changes in the next year before my subscription expires.
If you like 95% less spammers use this.
They changed the custom greeting back to 10 seconds from 30. Grrrrr. If you are on a version with a long greeting, DON’T update. I personally need the longer greeting. On the other hand, if you enjoy frustrating bill collector scammers and robocalls, this is the app. Pro version is worth it for peace and quiet.
New update super Buggy
The new update has made the iPhone app nearly unusable and slow. Nothing loads fast at all. I’m going to cancel here soon if it continues.
Excellent
Excellent
Spam or scam calls have not let up at all. This sight is expensive and it has not stopped 1 robo cal
Hate this app. And I can’t believe you are taking money out of my account every month. If anything calls have increased!!!!
Setup issue
I’ve been a user for several years. Great at filtering calls. But I can’t find a way to disable Nomorobo voice mail. Very frustrating.
Very useful
It has been a game changer for me screening unwanted calls
Stops working after buying
*DON’T BUY THIS! At first this works really well at stoping and blocking robocalls but after I signed up for the yearly subscription it stopped screening calls. I contacted support who gave me generic advice about making sure the correct settings were on, which they were and I had not changed anything. I suspect the point is to hook you in then stop the main purpose of the service which is very dishonest and fraudulent. When I started to delete the app all of a sudden they offered to restore the main service which brought me to write a review warning potential customers.
It’s great when it works. Unfortunately it doesn’t work much at the time.
At first this app was amazing. It helped reduce spam at a level. Nothing else has. However, now it constantly fails and allows. Spam calls through. What I mean is when it’s supposed to silence the call and screen it, it doesn’t. Over and over again I have to delete the app reinstall and go through the whole process. I’m constantly troubleshooting. I don’t know what they did to this app recently, but they absolutely ruined it. I would at this point recommend finding something else because this one is so inconsistent nowadays. I used to recommend this to everybody because it used to be a 10 out of 10. Now I think it’s two stars at best, potentially even one because it’s so annoying to have to constantly troubleshoot.
Excellent support
I got a new phone and when I reinstalled the app it kept saying I didn’t have an account. Contacted support sent a couple of screenshots and found I downloaded the basic version instead of max. Simple fix. Support was fast to respond.
Blocking before I decide
You blocked a call that was very important to me before I even had a chance to decide weather to accept or block it. I’m very disappointed. It blocks all unknowns not just the spam. I seriously considering removing this app. .😡
Terrible
Doesn’t always allow me to answer calls that I need to. The “answer” button just calls nomorobo support and my calls go to voicemail. I have to turn the app off when I expect calls that aren’t in my phone book just so I can answer them. I got this a few years ago when I was getting a bunch of election calls, and it worked pretty well back then. Now, at election time, I get texts, which all get through. Uninstalling it.
