This review request popped up just as I was thanking☺️Brian & Heroic out loud. Life-changing app♥️
Heroic has helped me create the best habits around energy, work love, boosting, my happiness and confidence as a result of my creating the habits that work best for me and checking in with the Heroic app a daily to stay consistent. Thank you, Brian, Alexandra and Team for creating such a helpful focus tool. ❤️🏆❤️
Awful customer service
Ai response solves nothing.
Great until canceling
Absolutely love the content! Canceling should have been way easier to do!!!!
Good info
Lots of stuff in here. Unfortunately, too much! It’s hard to tell where to start or what to do and in what order. Really needs to be simplified with a clear path. Its a bit too overwhelming and time intensive for me. I suggest you look at Duolingo or Moments for some inspiration on a better UX.
The Cult of Brian
There are some useful aspects of this app - I think the daily target setting and tracking is useful and energizing. The content is meh - okay. I have followed Brian for a long time - and it has been interesting to see the evolution of his ideas from Optimize to Heroic to the Philosophers Notes. I found the Basic Training curriculum to be useful and sparked some new good ideas. My primary critique here is that the content has self-centered undertones of being the cult of Brian… nearly every video, every philosopher’s note, even meditations, are self-referential to Brian… when they would be much more inspirational and powerful without the self-centeredness. I doubt Brian will ever change this… but letting everyone know I find it to be over the top. The cult of Brian, combined with the complication of ancient wisdom now described with silly formulas and jargon (which Brian is happy to say are tattooed over his body) muddles - rather than activates - these timeless human principles. But for a monthly (or discounted annual fee or a crowdfund investment!) Brian can show you the way.
The Heroic App - It’s a Life Changer
In general I am not a big “fan” of apps… preferring to use my mobile device as a telephone and a laptop for nearly everything else. However not only am I a fan of the Heroic app but a “raving” fan. Why do I say that? Because, slowly but surely, by using it on a daily basis, I’ve noticed positive changes in my mind, body & spirit. For me the Heroic app has is not just a game changer it’s a Life Changer! Get it and use it - you will not regret it .
optimize.me was better
I am sorry to give this app a one star review, but the old app optimize.me was free and had better usability, now it redirects to heroic which is payed and doesn’t provide any notable new content. I am grateful for the past content but don’t find removing the old content from the free app fair.

Issues with app
Really like everything about this app other than it keeps freezing when loading. Had the app for 3 months and still not been able to set my big 3 protocols. It’s a real shame because i love the book also.
Leaves a lot to be desired
App is very glitchy on ipad. Not responsive and many components don’t even fit on the screen. Sucks that they disabled the optimize app before making this one work properly. Also, it keeps asking me to activate notifications when I commit to the day which is a little annoying. Not to mention, I can’t customize notification times (seriously, why?). Otherwise, it’s a great resource for knowledge, but until they disabled the optimize app, it more-or-less just a daily checklist app - and there are better ones out there. They also keep trying to sell me more products despite having paid $500 for the lifetime membership, which is a little unsavoury.
Life-changing
1year in and I’m saying Heroic has been the birthday gift to myself that keeps on giving in all the best possible ways: sharper, focused thinking, anti-fragile mindset, and courage to love, act, and re-new! Awesome!
Angry Optimize users
The content in this app used to be called Optimize, and before that Brian Johnson. Longtime subscribers/members will know this. When the Brian Johnson app was out, the content was available for $10p/m. I was subscribed for a long time, ultimately loved the PN, +1’s and 101’s, but cancelled as I was a student and wasn’t using the app. Then the content was migrated onto an app called Optimize, with ALL of the paywalled content available for free. Brian went big on making a big deal out of this, saying it was in accordance with his vision and mission, and flagged that heroic would be a ‘premium’ service for more higher-touch coaching offerings. At some point since, a decision was made to reverse this. All of the content previously free on Optimize is now up behind a paywall on the Heroic app. The original offer/promise to make this content available for free to audiences has been reneged on. Moreover, there was a lack of communication about these changes for active users of the Optimize app. And now you have to pay $50 a month to access that legacy content and new content.
Awesome App!
Simply Beautiful. Signing up my whole family to this experience. Ancient wisdom and Modern science at its best.
Much needed but app isn’t functional
Love the premise; keeps on crashing when I’m defining my Love Identity :((
Love Heroic!
I greatly enjoy this app and all the wisdom contained in it. It has been a companion and constant influx of wisdom, personal accountability, and even connection. Can’t recommend enough!
No trial
Firstly I love Optimize, Brian's content truly is life changing, and by the sounds of the description Heroic could be amazing... but there's no way to know other than signing up for a $100+ annual plan. It's probably no big deal for some people, but that's a huge sum for me, especially since it's a subscription!
Grateful for Heroic!
Been following Brian and Heroic for a few years now. It’s really helped me ground myself into what’s important in my life. Helped me immensely, in so many ways. I am forever grateful. Thank you Heroic!!!!
Heroic is like having a personal cheerleader!
This Heroic help allows me to choose how I want to live and then helps me build on my choices throughout the day. Quick & Easy! Truly a remarkable tool to improve everyday life. ENJOY!
Simply the best
Quick and powerful! Best personal development app. Daily wisdom at its best.
Hack yourself and level up!
Instead of letting big tech hack your attention span how about using big tech to hack yourself for optimal performance? This app developed by Meta for the Heroic community does exactly that. And if you don’t know what Heroic is you should…consider this your invitation. Ready to flourish?
LOVE LOVE This App
I feel like I’ve got a number of things pretty dialed in but this app and Brian Johnson’s philosophy has just about ALL OF IT dialed!! There’s times where I’ll be thinking of a concept and then it will come up in the app in such a perfectly and well thought out way. I’m VERY GRATEFUL I bought this app and use it every day.
Wake up. Show up. Level up.
Heroic is a daily training ground for becoming your best self. A living library of ancient wisdom and modern science. It’s a community built to support, challenge and celebrate one another.
