Great app
This app is amazing!! Absolutely love it!
So Stressful!!!
Can’t even get pass the second authentication and always crashing. Make it easier to get in with a confirmation email perhaps. The way this app going I’d rather inconvenience myself and directly go to the bank
Good but could be improved upon
The app works well for the most part, I don’t have any major issues, however things like seeing which account transfers come from without needing the notification email is helpful. The UI could use a bit of changing up in terms of design and layout also to be more visually appealing.

User interface is extremely outdated. Y’all could do better.
Easy but stressful
Very easy and flexible to use ONCE SET UP!! After that, pure stress! The sign in process for obtaining OTPs and Sync Approvals needs to be revised - for eg. if the app isn’t working, or I have a new device and doing the entire sign in process from scratch… I would sign in on the browser first but then they tell me I need the OTP from the app. How am I supposed to get the OTP from the app if the app is down or if I have a new device and my all my data is erased from previous phone? That logic is wild. You need to make the OTP accessible through email or text, or create a more secure alternative method instead of forcing you to call them every time. Another thing!!! Why, on the browser welcome page y’all have what seems to be a screenshot of a picture of where the app can be downloaded instead of putting actual WORKING BUTTONS to download the app? Like, are you guys serious? So many “Republic Bank” replicas on the App Store. Not to mention, I researched the people who built RBL’s app and you know what, that tells me all I need to know. But otherwise, again, once fully set up, very easy to use. 3 stars 🌟

The app is no longer working for me. It will not open at all. And there are no updates for it.
Quick view of account balance
Since the recent update I no longer have the option to view my balances without having to log into the app. I don’t like that. Otherwise everything else is okay.
Not Happy
Im trying to use the face ID option to log into my account easily, and it alway worked for me when I first had the app downloaded, now it doesn’t want to work and you either have to contact the bank via the customer support or go physically into the bank, which is really inconvenient to the customer, republic bank, please do better.

Update: Works in iOS 16.2 (as of now) No longer works in iOS 16. Also did not like the change in how credit card balances are shown. Do show available credit amounts instead.
Functional, needs tweaks
The application is great, however there’s some changes to consider. 1. “Bank at your fingertips” disables on its own after 2-3 days 2. Add a dark mode feature 3. Add MS Auth for seamless login (verifying via sync takes too much time and old grannies don’t know how to copy and paste text code verifications) 4. “Home” tab should be repurposed to show more relevant information. Perhaps make it customizable to the user’s preferences. 5. You have email push notifications for both debit card purchases and credit card debit/credit notifications, what about salary notifications? Is there anyone on the team thinking about these things by chance. Put yourself in the end user’s perspective. You are the leading bank, why not make yourselves more competitive.

Pretty Good
I have been using the app for probably 2 years now and have never had any significant issues. It makes checking my balance and sending payments to others very convenient and simple. A feature i appreciate is being able to create a payee in the app itself. The only thing i can’t do that the online banking offers is generate a statement and utilize the budgeting features

App is okay but sign in methods need to be updated please adjust this to make it simpler to access. The OTP and sync Approval is outdated. Recommendations - Authenticator, OTP via text not in the app

Banking at Fingertips
This is an OPTION u can OPT to participate in. those that prefer privacy over convenience can easily choose not to engage with the feature why remove it for everyone?? puzzling decision there not going to lie. Checking my balance at a glance is so time saving
Very good app
I have no issues with this app. There was one occasion that I couldn’t log in and the customer service helped me sought it out and I was back up and running in minutes. Easy to use and I feel safe that my financial information is secure 👍🏽
v1.25.0 Disables Login
Since updating to version 1.25.0 I was logged out and can’t log back in. Can’t login via the browser because that needs the app to either get the sync approval or OTP. Surprised that it’s still unresolved. Do better.

It’s convenient and works well. Once you use the tools you appreciate its efficiency much more.

Republic app is not working with latest iOS 18.2 and the app hasn’t been updated for more than four months! Very poor from Republic
Top 10 Apps I use
This is a great banking App which I use to transfer money to Republic, RBC and even Bank of Saint Lucia and other major foreign banks. It’s always being updated (thanks dev for moving the confirming button up) and the programmers should get a raise for this outstanding App!
Wasting my time
I’ve been trying to get this app to work for the longest while sent emails made calls and nothing. Every time I get an os update on my phone I try it again and still not even opening just pop up and close off immediately. This is frustrating
Useful App
Quite useful app. I can conduct all my transactions on the go. My only issue is with the most recent app update. Why am I only able to see the Current Balance of my Credit Card on My Products dashboard. The Available Credit was shown previously.
Still bad
The app gets the job done; if you haven’t left the early 1990s - you’d be right at home with the look and functionality of Windows 3.1 and Netscape Navigator. Many times you will need to use your PC to access features either not available in app, or cannot be intuitively found. This iOS version is slow and buggy. Many times FaceID will fail or app will close on you. “Buttons” are unresponsive, requiring 2 or 3 taps.
Works great
With the update, the easiest way to access this is to first login using the desktop browser and change your password. I used the OTP option on the app. After that, it’s smooth sailing on the mobile apps. The interface is better now. There are more options compared to the old versions.
Over secure and complicated
Both my phones got wet so Face ID and Touch ID stopped working. My Bank of America app still lets me in with password but not republic. Update 5yrs later… the system is often down AND I can’t get the code via text msg with an important transaction to pay for. WORST BANKING APP AND SYSTEM EVER. I HATE IT!
Great update with lots more features!
I had to write a new review about the app after having problems to sign in. So I went to the bank who called tech support and they provided me with a temp password (which I received after a few days) with which I was able to log in and access my account. I see there are many new features which wasn’t there before! I haven’t tried it out as yet, but I think it’s a great update. There is an option to use Face ID to open the app, as well as SMS to confirm transactions or app notification which comes in handy if you travel a lot and switch out your SIM card. You can also transfer money to other people and business and pay bills which saves you trips to the bank and avoid the long lines and wait times! Welcome to the 21st Century!
Unable to sync. Continuously timing out.
Republic Bank has been a total disappointment in recent times. From their online banking , to refusing overseas regular CC payments to their app. Come better pls!

A solid improvement
The new app and overall platform is a massive improvement on the old app. The UI and the experience is greatly improved. Utilising the app for two factor authentication was a great move. The overall feel of the app is better. When I compare with similar apps (Commonwealth Bank, ING, Virgin Money). This is a pretty solid app.
Terrible
Doesn’t work. Period. The RBL screen opens then disappears. This happens on my iPad Air 3rd generation.
