JS Review
Amazing app that covers all bases, saves me time and allows me to focus on the most important parts of coaching.
Scam
They basically get all your info, permissions, access to everything and then you hit a paywall, access to nothing without a pricey subscription. You can get loads of free stuff on YouTube
Sehr gute App
Sehr gute App
Schlechteste Team-App
Stürzt ständig ab. Keine sinnvolle Kalenderfunktion. Absolut mangelhaft. iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26.4
My Review
The UI is not reactive and has consistent latency. The amount of times I see the “write a review” button is annoying and gets to the point where I can’t use the app without it populating every 15 seconds on certain areas of the main page. Well here you go coachbetter. Here is your 3-star rating. Stop showing up on my screen.
Great app
I’m a volunteer coach at a local club, this app has been an absolute game changer for my team. It used to be all in WhatsApp and Google docs, now everything is in one place and the video and prebuilt sessions are AMAZING
Needs a TON of work
Very disappointed in this app. UI is horrid, calendar syncing is pathetic. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend.
Full calendar sync
Plenty of opportunities to make this a more fluid and simple UX, but before anything else, make a calendar subscription possible. Needs to be full calendar and not one event or one week’s events.
Great for Team Management
Everything needed to plan sessions, communicate and manage my teams!!
Worst team app
Im not sure why our club went with this app. Its by far the worst app I’ve had to use for club and team management. It’s not intuitive and does not have a good web interface. It has the worst calendar integration and I hate everything about that.
Need a calendar feed
This app could be so much better if there was a calendar feed that would sync with other calendars. Without this feed, the app is pointless.
Coachbetter
Really good app use it for my soccer team when we need information
Needs a lot of work to be considered more than just an athlete evaluation and planning app.
From a coaching tool it is ok. To get the full capabilities you need to log in to the website which is just a pain for those that are constantly on the go. My teams used it for tracking attendance and evaluating athletes. The scheduling and chat feature are so far behind and clunky we stopped using it for that purpose entirely and stayed with snap.
Verwirrend und auf iPad nicht alles sichtbar
Eigentlich schöne Sache. Umsetzung schwierig, nicht immer alle Daten sichtbar
Benachrichtigung mangelhaft
Great Sports App
Really easy to use and communicate with the club, helps the players interact with the coach. All sessions and games organised.
Garbage
Honestly this app is horrible. Pick any other sports app and it will fast out perform this one. If I could give it zero stars I would. This sentiment is shared across our entire team.
Verbindungsprobleme
The core of coaching!!!
This has really leveled up my coaching with the activities that are available. Going to training with my 2012’s has been a challenge for ideas, but the activities provided by coachbetter and our technical directors have been amazing
Lacks functionality
Awful app. Our soccer team uses this but it lacks a lot of functionality. It doesn’t have a monthly calendar view, can’t sync to a google calendar, can’t message parents individually, can’t share pictures. I wish we’d switch, it’s a big headache
Nice app could be better
Good app with some nice features and good knowledge section. Love the ability to plan my training sessions. Need to have ability to communicate with players and bemore interaction between coach and player. Would be nice to be able to download the calendar.
5/5 Stars — A Game Changer for Youth Sports Programming
Coachbetter was an invaluable tool for us this season for our clubs as we ran a youth soccer league for over 400 players across 10 clubs. The platform allowed us to deliver weekly training plans directly to our coaches every week ahead of training, eliminating the guesswork and helping coaches show up prepared and confident. The attendance tracking feature gave coaches real-time visibility into who was coming each Saturday, and the Club News feature allowed us to push league-wide updates and weather cancellations to all families instantly. Onboarding over 400 families and 30 coaches in a short window was seamless, and the platform’s intuitive design made adoption easy across all experience levels. Coachbetter is now a permanent part of how we operate and we would recommend it without hesitation to any youth sports organization looking to streamline operations and elevate the coaching experience.
Never Review Apps
I have never reviewed an app before, but I feel compelled to do so now. I’ve never used a more frustrating and useless app for managing sports teams. Maybe this is helpful for coaches, but it is absolutely useless for players and families to manage calendars. My kids have been for 15 years and this is the absolute worst product I’ve ever had to use.
Love the citycoach content
Downloaded the app and got the pro membership. The coachbetter features are very useful for managing my U12 team, and I use the citycoach content to support with sessions. Saves me time with creating session plans etc
not sure this is an “app” if apps are useful
this might be the worst app i’ve ever seen for sports. i’ve used snap, SportsEngine, demosphere, and crossbar. all have, at a minimum, features like calendar syncing, access to account info, and settings to control what you share or show about yourself. while this app can “access” your calendar, you have to add every event individually, which does nothing if any practice changes or anything gets added and you aren’t constantly checking the app against your calendar for updates. the other attributes don’t even exist. unacceptable. since it doesn’t provide any information or access to your account info (adding authorized viewers, family info, etc), i figured, maybe the app is still a work in progress, so i’ll try the website. but the website banner is clear: “For full experience use Coachbetter on your desktop computer or tablet”. are you kidding!!? what decade is this? this is the worst product i’ve ever seen for team management and player coordination.
Helpful for us Coaches
coachbetter is really helpful to have out at the fields during training. It is great to be able to refer back to your planned session to ensure the accuracy of what you wanted to deliver to the players.
Disappointed
The app used to be ok but suddenly the messages do Not open , when I get an alert and click on it takes me to a blank page. I’ve deleted and logged out and nothing fixes the issue
The best soccer coaching app in the market
I tried several apps and found Coachbetter to be the most comprehensive soccer coaching app. The team proactively listens to customers and comes up with new features like integrating schedule with Google/iOS Calendars, Player invite and much more! Would recommend everyone to use it! Hot tip: their Message feature is a steal.
Not ready for use
Doesn’t sync to outside calendars, no direct communication channels, no ability to customize or create your own chats. Scheduling is difficult and not intuitive (can’t do multi day events, can do recurring scheduling for anything that isn’t weekly). They are constantly updating so maybe it will get better
