Rubbish
I’m sorry but this app is rubbish!! It hasn’t identified 1 single plant yet. Even some of the most basic/common ones!! I shall be deleting!! 👎
Great app
I switched over to this app when my previous garden based app was closed down. It’s a really great app with lots of helpful tips for beginners like me. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because when I try and upload photos, I cannot edit how the picture appears before it’s posted. And by this I don’t mean adding filters etc. I mean, i cannot zoom in / out to focus on a particular part of a picture. Quite often I have taken photos using my camera and then later in the day when I post to the app it doesn’t show the whole photo or I can’t focus it onto a certain part etc… I have to either re-take using the camera feature on the app or crop the picture using editing tools on my phone. Just a minor bug bear of mine as any other app I have used, I have always been able to edit the photo prior to uploading.

Disappointing functionality
I got this app primarily to remind me what jobs to do each month on the plants that I have, but unfortunately it doesn't allow you to delete or tick off the jobs that you have done, so every time you look at the list of jobs you have to read through the whole lot again to spot the ones you still have to do. The other problem is that it's not designed to fit the screen of my iPhone Pro, so some of the buttons are outside the visible screen area. Needs a bit more work.

You get to converse with other gardeners and share photos that all goes to help you and others. Yes a great app and I find it friendly and relaxing
Not bad but room for improvement
A generally pleasant App to use with a good community of helpful users. Positives: - Advice available from a real person, the CrocusPlantDoctor. - Photos retain decent quality when uploaded. Negatives: - Inability to post anything other than in square format, so no tall trees or landscapes. - Replying to a comment is tricky, and you are not always notified that someone has replied to yours. Having said all that, I realise that it’s not a social media platform!

From Candide to Iris
It took me a little while to get used to Iris as it was different to Candide that I was used to as I’m not too computer / app savvy ! However I am well and truly into it now and it’s a lovely app too . Many like minded nature loving people asking for advice and giving help and advice along with stunning photos and in some cases some humour as well .🤣Long may it continue ….I love it 👍
