Best RPG to dive into.
Don't handle errors properly
Charged me for the starter pack, but it never showed. No way to return the money, no way to "restore the payment".
Fun and Rewarding but Not 100% Voiceover Friendly
I have had a wonderful time leveling up, planting, harvesting, exploring, collecting rewards, and crafting, but not fishing. I have to use gold to fish because I am using Voiceover on my phone and so far I’ve found that doing it manually is impossible. You have to follow the moving circle once you tap on a fish, which is not doable with a screen reader. Everything else is pretty accessible, though, so if this could be fixed or I could receive instructions if I am doing something wrong, it would be just about perfect.
Game ok, but janky
I think the jankiness of the app makes this quite hard to play for me. The constant loading spinner. The hard to select text. For some reason navigation is unintuitive. I can’t tell if all the talking is intentionally painful to add to the grindy nature of the game, but it all feels so unloved. The very first screen you see when you install it asks if you want to install the iOS app. What? This is clearly just a really bad wrapper around a website.
Buggy, laggy, Daily crashing, simp for loot game
The first few levels are relatively what you would expect for a text based game but once you start getting to higher levels, it requires orders of magnitude more time and energy and actions to complete a level so the developers have created a chat channel for users, where you can ask for and give items to other people so you essentially need to monitor a chat for items that are given out in a very on structured manner. You can make 500 per day, but you need 50,000+ to gain 1 Level or you can tap something 50,000,000 million times on your own to achieve the same goal. So most players end up simping for loot.
Beginner Friendly
Just started playing really enjoying it so far. No pay to play. A lot of helpful players online and links in help/library right at the menu of the game play. Will be playing into the foreseeable future. Will try to update when I’m a more experienced player!
Accessibility improvements and add support to portuguese language
Farm RPG is not so accessible with VoiceOver. Buttons are read as links, swipe navigation often goes silent, and focus is frequently lost, making gameplay difficult. Adding proper accessibility support and a Portuguese language option would greatly improve usability.

Jeu addictif, très bien pensé. Présenté comme gratuit, mais les améliorations (très chères au taux de 250or pour 10euros) sont si utiles pour jouer correctement que ça en devient un gros pay to win.

Lack of gameplay development
Only small updates, mining skill for example (4th skill in total) almost two year in development (blame old code). No gameplay update, no maketplace. Good game for while then it get BORING and no updates or pay beta or alpha. Shame Correction: 6 skills true, but the first 4 you finish within 2 months. Promise to mining is almost 2 years old, sorry review is correct. “Constant updates” wauw, many updates yes? But still BIG lack of gameplay.

A rare, delightful find
It’s hard to find a game that is actually free to play and free of ads, let alone with a charming community and highly engaged developers. I discovered Farm RPG when searching for a browser game similar to Kingdom of Loathing. Almost a year later, I’m still playing Farm RPG in its app form! Highly recommend.

Och nein schade deutsche Übersetzung fehlt. Das spiel scheint richtig Spaß zu machen, aber ohne Deutsche Übersetzung ist es ziemlich schwer reinzukommen. Hoffe es kommt noch eine deutsche Übersetzung dazu, dann kann ich auch 5 Sterne geben 😊
I love this game
I love the loop of the game One thing I would do even though I know you want to stay add free but what I would add is a option to watch maybe 5 ads a day in exchange of x gold per ads watched so even free to play people can get easily gold and you still get paid a certain amount per ads watched
Great game but purosefully inconvenient.
This game has a lot of great pros, no ads being high on that list, and it's a very calming experience that is great for killing time, and slowly improving your farm feels great. However, it does have one major con. That is the fact that the game is purposefully inconvenient in certain aspects. The game has a currency called gold used for buying perks or certain items. Gold is aquired through various means as you play the game, but is ultimately pretty hard to come by in large quantities. The issue? You can purchase gold for real money. The immediate issue is how this makes the game very pay-to-win, but considering you can get gold without paying and the game is free and non-competitive, I wouldn't say being pay-to-win is an issue at all. The issue I have is that some of the perks you can buy are purely quality of life. They are things that, even accirding to the games developers, would improve your experience playing the game after being unlocked. And they put them behind a pay wall. Sure you can grind the gold and get them free, but once again they are purely quality of life features, they don't increase your efficiency or let you earn more money. Why would I ever prioritize using my gold on that? It would feel wasteful. That issue pertains even if you buy gold for real money. In the end the quality of life perks are probably some of the last ones you'd get, meaning you will play through a large portion of the game while being inconvenienced for no reason. Maybe I'm being harsh but until this has changed I cannot give more than a 3/5. If it was changed or you don't care about it though I would consider the game a 5/5 easily.

Opened the game to being banned, nothing to say why I was banned. Haven’t cheated anything because whats the point? There’s no competitive aspect just a chill farming game LITERALLY no reason to. Now all that progress and time spent wasted with no reason, honestly befuddled.

I like this game because it’s not “pay to win” and there’s always some grinding to do. There’s something new often enough to keep my interest so far👍👍

The game was okay, but getting worse every month
The game is okayish, despite the fact it had a lack of additional content for the past months. The moderation on this game is awful, the mods aren’t on the same page on when and what to moderate. This is very confusing and makes it impossible to interact with other members of the community within the chat option this game has. The so called ‘library’ aka the wiki thing of this game is filled with meme pages and not very helpful. False promises are made by the developer and his staff team as to when new content is being added. (A new skill was promised back in November 2021 and they said it will be available later that year. It’s april 2022 and it’s still not here). The game states it’s F2P, yes it is, you get everything if you are able to wait for weeks for additional content to be dropped into the ‘live’ game. But in the past few months, new updates have been kept longer and longer in Beta. For example: 1-4 days in november-december as to 10-14 days in march-april. Plus supporting the game used to be nothing more like that, with small extra perks for people who actually paid. But right now it is possible to purchase your way up to the end game by spending a lot of money, ever since the gold became tradable.
Annoying but in a nice way
I have kind of mixed feelings about this game. Don’t get me wrong, I like it but it has some accessibility issues, the developer is aware if them and does occasionally work on them. It’s a very involved sot of game, there’s always something different to do from fulfilling orders in the form of help requests to fishing, shopping and claiming rewards. Where I think it could be improved is in the fishing department. Currently, in alpha you can just push a button and away you go, you fish until the meal worms run out but not in the live game. I’d like there to be some work done on the townsfolk. You can make friends with them and achieve rewards for achieving certain levels but thee progress bar is so slow there’s really no point in trying to max them out, you’ll be there for years. I’ve played this for over three years now and I’m maxed out only one in all that time. It needs to be sped up in my opinion. I think too, there needs to be more variation in the resources needed to complete help requests. it does become tedious after a while crafting engines after engines after engines. Overall though this game is very playable.

Astrosurfers everywhere
Go to your toilet after finishing your coffee first thing in the morning. Do your usual. Look down. What do you see? It's this game! There are a lot of PAID reviewers just to attract more people into this game, in all other platforms as well. Do not read the good reviews here, they are FAKE. The game itself is running on a window on your phone and your every touch is making it refresh and makes you feel annoyed. Even for such simple things as moving around the menus. If you don't trust me, just download the game and see. The account making system, how the game goes, everything about this game is toilet stuff. I would really love to give this game zero stars but unfortunately the appstore does not let me do that. Such a shame.

bit confusing but really nice
It’s kinda confusing at first, especially if you’re not used to those kind of games but it’s surprisingly addictive. I’ve been playing for about a week or so and the best thing in my opinion is that they have events with real time / days like a trader that comes only once a week!

Zynga 2009 Resurrected – Even Better!
Remember those Zynga games on FB, like Mafia Wars and FarmVille? This is like it. Text-based, completely free, and engaging. You can play it at your own pace—there are rewards for playing daily, but not much you miss out on if you didn’t play for days. No overstimulating graphics, no time wasted on “virtual walking”, and no feeling of being rushed to unlock new levels. Lots of funny elements to it, too! Lastly, this is a healthier alternative to doom-scrolling Reels and Shorts!! Just… don’t anymore. Try this. One star less because of the "corn jail" quests. You'll see. But push through!
