The absolute best forecart app for skydiving
I have been using Sonuby for a couple of months, and I am thoroughly impressed. The user interface is very clear and polished, providing the user with all the necessary information at a glance. The app receives data from multiple forecasts, making it quite accurate—something I’ve verified repeatedly. The updates are also frequent and don’t seem to negatively affect the app (much better than most apps…). This app offers excellent value to users, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Daten nicht konsistent
Wie kann die „Echtzeit“ -Anzeige mir sagen, es regnet gleich, auch das Radarbild bestätigt das 👍🏼 Es teopft draussen sogar bereits ein wenig. Top Info! Aber wenn ich auf die Tagesansicht weghsle, fällt heute (trotz Aktualisieren) kein Tropfen mehr 🫣 Also, da bleibt noch etwas Arbeit! Ansonsten gefällt mir die „neue Meteoblue“ Darstellung sehr 🙏🏻
Too many ads now
When this app came out just with an advertising banner at the bottom of the app, it was great, and I was happy using it - but every update seems to creep more flavours of advertising in. Now you can’t navigate far without a full-page video ad playing (you know the ones for P2W games or bad puzzle games that are tricky to close) and there was a big list of ad partners to accept. There are enough weather apps out there to choose that don’t do this I can use - Meteoblue’s own app offers the identical weather data and more features on the free tier. For free users or privacy conscious users I don’t think this is the app anymore - which is probably no loss to the developer anyway. Premium might still be useful for UAV/Surf specific weather.
Vorhersagen nicht mehr gut
Update: Jahresabo nun gekündigt, weil die Vorhersagen nicht mehr passen. Egal ob zu Hause, im Urlaub in Österreich oder Italien. Sonuby -> kein Regen vorausgesagt WetterOnline -> in 30min Regen Was ist passiert? Es hat geregnet. Dadurch das es kein Einzelfall ist, sondern nun so oft passiert das es mich nervt, werde ich wieder auf WetterOnline wechseln. Schade! Optisch macht die App und das Widget einiges her.
Superb
I am blown away by this app, rarely do I simple reach immediately to subscribe to something but this is so good value for money…. I’d love to see alerts for say clear skies and sunrise for a location so I could be alerted to get up and go take pics. Well done it’s a superb app.
Ridiculous Lifetime Price
I have several lifetime weather apps and was interested in this one, but this costs more than all of the other weather apps I have used combined. Insane to charge $120 for a freaking weather app.
Erster Eindruck: klasse
Auf den ersten Blick eine gute und übersichtliche Wetter App. Mal abwarten wie genau die Vorhersagen auch eintreffen. Als Windsurfer interessieren mich in erster Linie die Windvorhersagen an meinen Lieblings Spots. Widgets wären klasse! Viel Erfolg!
Unzuverlässig
Die App ist hoffnungslos überladen. Die Angaben sind schlecht lesbar und manche Angaben sind unklar. OK, daran arbeitet der Entwickler noch. Was aber wirklich ärgert, ist die Unzuverlässigkeit, gerade bei Niederschlägen.

i already purchased and now, after months of owning and enjoying, i can't access unless i agree to new terms. at least let us finish our original purchase if we disagree with the new policy

One of the absolute best weather apps available. I’ve tried a lot over the years and this is top notch. Being able to tailor it to your needs and liking is also great. Feels and looks like the high end app it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Updates Slow In Coming.
Paid yearly subscription, updated very slow in coming. Says new update coming (since Feb-6 months), still waiting. Weather forecasting so, so. Overall disappointed.
Gute App, aber
es wäre übersichtlicher und informativer, wenn es Widgets geben würde … zumindest ein Widget. Das wäre dann auch der fünfte Stern. Davon abgesehen ist die App das, was ich gesucht habe … viele Informationen, gute Optik, aber nicht zu überladen. Die individuellen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten haben mich letztendlich überzeugt. Und das zu einem akzeptablen Abo-Preis … Habe die App erst seit kurzem, werde sie also noch weiter testen. Vor allem. was die Genauigkeit der Wettervorhersagen angeht … Fazit: eine vielversprechende App !

Just checking it out. Junky little popovers on the right edge are ugly. Absolutely hate junky little goobers covering the ui ever anywhere that you can’t get rid of. Junky little goobers. Also hate hamburger menus. There’s one of those too.

L’unica app meteo che usa come fonte dati meteoblue. Questo è il vero punto di forza. Aspetti negativi: Dark Mode disponibile solo a pagamento e mancano i widget, assenza grave.

Sonuby: Wie man Nutzer garantiert vergraullt
Ich bin absolut **genervt** von dieser App! Jedes Mal, wenn ich Sonuby Wetter starte, werde ich mit aufdringlichen Aufforderungen zum Kauf eines Jahresabonnements bombardiert. Diese penetrante Werbetaktik erreicht genau das Gegenteil von dem, was sie bezwecken soll. Anstatt mich zum Kauf zu motivieren, treibt mich diese nervige Strategie nur zur Weißglut. Die ständigen Pop-ups und Hinweise auf das Premium-Abo sind **extrem nervig** und nehmen jede Freude an der Nutzung der App. Ich will einfach nur meine Wettervorhersage sehen, nicht ununterbrochen Verkaufsargumente hören! Was die Entwickler nicht verstehen: Solche aggressiven Marketingmethoden führen nicht zu Kundengewinnung, sondern zu **Kundenabschreckung**. Ich bin jetzt so frustriert, dass ich nicht nur kein Abo kaufen werde, sondern die App am liebsten komplett löschen und negativ bewerten würde. Mein Rat an die Entwickler: Weniger Druck, mehr Qualität! Zeigen Sie den Mehrwert Ihrer App durch gute Funktionen, nicht durch nervige Verkaufsmasche. **Fazit**: Finger weg von dieser App! Sie nervt mehr, als dass sie nützt.

Sehr gute Funktion, aber…
…ohne Widget Support ist das recht schwierig. Keiner geht heutzutage noch in eine App um sich Wetterdaten zu holen, die müssen angezeigt werden. Apple Watch Support wäre das iTüpfelchen😉 Hatte die Bazahlversion, aber so kein Mehrwert als eine Website.
Eigentlich gut….
Schönes Design und übersichtlich gestaltet. Aber warum findet die nicht mein Standort, obwohl ich diesen freigegeben habe? Der angezeigte Standort liegt ca. 1km weit weg. Bei andren Apps funktioniert das besser.

Attraktive optische Umsetzung
Die App macht einen ordentlichen Eindruck, die Darstellungen sind klasse. Das Premium-Abo zum Standardpreis (18€ p.a.) finde ich zu teuer für eine Wetter-App, als Angebot war es dann in Ordnung. Top Support, der superschnell auf Anfragen reagiert 👍🏼

This is an outstanding app, high quality, extremely detailed information. I have used quite a few weather apps, but none are as good as this one. If you like to follow the weather this app is a must have.

Die App ist schön gestaltet mit vielen Informationen. Widgets wären noch super sowie ein anpassbarer „Startbildschirm“ beim Öffnen der App. Beispielsweise die Wettervorhersage ausgewählter Orte direkt untereinander in minimalistischer Form. Freue mich auf die nächsten Updates. 😊
Extensive weather information well presented
I am a sailor who naturally pays close attention to the weather. I recently read of Sonuby, downloaded it, began using it, and within a few days subscribed, although extensive information is available for free. What you see is customizable and I think attractively presented. The developer has responded quickly and positively to my suggestion that a sailing profile be created in addition to those of other outdoor activities already available. I am very pleased with Sonuby and expect to continue using it on a daily basis.
Great Weather App with Room for Improvement
I’ve been using Sonuby Weather for a while now, and overall, I’m quite impressed. Terrific App for Landscape Photographer
Although it does not have a customized dashboard aimed towards photographers the app still provides invaluable information about the weather conditions for shooting outdoors. The skydiver dashboard is useful for photography. Looking forward to seeing enhancements and maybe a way to create your own customized dashboard?
Customizable, full of features, with “weather in motion” map view
Ever since Apple purchased, then dropped Dark Sky, I’ve longed for a better weather app. I love how this app slows customization of so many aspects and views. Best of all, for me, is a “weather in motion” map view! I love seeing if a line of clouds is moving toward or away from my area.
