Funktioniert
Also ich weiß nicht was hier einige haben oder warum die App so schlechte Bewertungen hat. Sie funktioniert ohne Probleme und ich muss sogar sagen, dass die Videos und die Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung ziemlich gut ist. Ich erinnere mich auch, wie ich in Deutschland die Ausweis-App in Betrieb genommen habe und das war wesentlich komplizierter. Ich bin selber App-Entwickler/Programmierer und ich weiß wie komplex und voller Fallstricke diese ganzen online Identitätsnachweise sein können. Gerade deswegen ziehe ich hier meinen Hut und gratuliere den Entwicklern zu der App. In 5-10 min war die Sache erledigt hier. Und da habe ich extra lang gemacht, weil ich mir aus Interesse alles mal genau anschauen wollte. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich einen nagelneuen Reisepass und auch ein gutes, recht neues Smartphone habe.

It's alright but one thing stuck out.
I was setting up MitID for the first time. All was well, nicely designed. Simple and intuitive, plenty of instructions and examples. After completing every step, scanning the chip of my passport and scanning my face, it then tells me there was an error reading the chip on my passport. So it switch to a slightly different looking verification screen where i did the exact same stuff but this time it went through fine. It's just odd that it told me the chip did not read well after it already scanned the chip, i completed another step afterwards and only the it tells me the chip did not read properly.
QR scanner virker ikke. Ingen support.
Kan ikke kontakte support gennem app, så må blive her. Ved skanning af QR fader QR-feltet ud på mobilen og appen bliver inaktiv. Skanning er derfor ikke mulig og kernefunktionaliteten utilgængelig. 2 stjerner, så jeg ikke forsvinder i søen af et-stjernede reviews.

App Refuses to Work
I’ve tried over ten times to get set up. App refuses to read my passport’s chip, then sends me through the same exact process that I’ve already done again, just to end up denying the whole thing. Claiming my face doesn’t match the picture on my Passport. Sure, whatever. Went to the website to look for FAQ, no help there. Horrible app.

Doesn’t work
I’ve tried scanning my face over 20 times now. It’s ridiculous that it doesn’t work in any setting and doesn’t allow back camera use for scanning. Setting it up through this app is a waste of time. Wish I could give a 0 star review
app is frozen
Download a few days ago has not worked consistently/ and at the moment is waiting to download/. but zi did not seek to download and it is completely unresponsive. I cannot get into my bank account.

The instructions are incredibly unclear and it keeps rejecting my facial scans. Which makes so sense since I used facial scans and my passport to travel just a month ago, why does this app have such strict and mysterious parameters for their facial scans? Why can’t you redo your facial scans without restarting the entire passport scanning processes?? After 10 failed attempts i just had to give up and home I never need to access digital mail. Anyways why not make the instructions for photos clearer and give individual clear feedback on why photos are getting rejected
Håbløs godkendelsesprocess
Nu hvor man også benytter pasbilledet til at godkende op imod et scan, har man så man skridt i godkendelsen at se det begynder at ligne en joke. Står overfor en snarlig fornyelse af passet, og NemID kan ikke matche det gamle billede op imod hvordan man ser ud nu, og så er man effektivt spærret ude af alt digitalt. Hvordan i alverden pasnummer osv ikke er nok, er utroligt. Giv det fem år, så skal vi også levere en blodprøve, just in case…
It works
This is a second factor in a multi-factor authentication setup. The app does that and that is it. It doesn’t need to do anything else so for that it gets the 5 star rating. Oh, the RIFID scanner works as well.
Doesn’t work on key flow
Should be pretty easy, right? WRONG, when I try to scan my passport it crashes, mind you this isn’t an edge case, it’s part of the main flow, every foreign citizen who tried this problem experienced the same issue, tried to register and had to go to a citizen center. Why would you even advertise that you can do this online, when a basic function crashes the app. Just remove it at this point, say go to the citizen center and don’t waste your time trying to use this app

Den mest uhjælpsomme app
Mit ID er bare ikke vær noget som helst, man skal brug det til at log på de mest irrelevante og det er absolut umuligt at skifte det fra en gammel telefon til en ny. Man må udover det også kun hav mit id på en telefon så hvis man ikke har den med sig hele tiden er det bare uheldigt
Can’t log in without danish passport
I don’t know my user ID, and it will only let me log in if I have a danish passport which I do not. It says I must have EITHER a danish passport or a danish ID (I have the ID card) yet it won’t give me an option to use it although the app says it accepts it? Please fix this.
terrible
so many steps and none of them work. passport chip won’t read, face scanner won’t work, this is the most stupid joke of an app i’ve ever seen. i just need to get some important health information and im jumping through ridiculous hoops with this nonsensical dysfunctional terrible app. wish i could give it 0 stars i am beyond frustrated.
Face scanning (required feature) non-functional
Edit: after finally taking my photo outdoors, against a neutral wall, on a cloudy day without direct sunshine, I was finally able to maybe pass the face scanning (no error that there wasn’t a match). However I now get an error that I had taken *too long* to complete the authorization and I needed to start again for security reasons. It takes me less than 2 minutes the complete the flow, after practicing literally dozens of times I guarantee that there are few people in the world that take *less time* than I do. The passport scanning and NFC functions of the MitID creation flow work very consistently - I know because I have used them dozens of times over multiple hours, having to repeat them over and over because the face scanning simply doesn’t work. I have a brand new passport, with a photo taken only one month ago. I also have a Danish ID with a photo taken one year ago. The app cannot recognize my face to either of these photos. I have tried all the recommendations in the app, I am using a brand new iPhone 15 with updated software. I haven’t grown a beard or gotten facial surgery. I have tried standing in front of blank walls, different lighting conditions. If I am having so much trouble I can only imagine the difficulty of those who have slightly changed their look, have older ID photos, are using phones with lower quality cameras. I know MitID uses a third party face scanning technology, so to an extent it’s wrong to blame MitID, but they should really, really consider changing the technology. AND it’s critical to allow for multiple tries at face scanning without kicking users back to the start of the registration flow.

The app thinks that my iPhone is jailbroken, which I assume is because of the new iPhone version.
Improve the registration
Reviewing the registration: - The photo scan doesn’t validate me as me. For each fail I have to start all the way from the beginning before I can try a new photo scan. - I once got photo approved but then no ID was accepted as unique (even though I even tried a totally random ID) which I now also learnt is a known bug. So, improve the registration process, please.
Utter, absolute joke.
Agree with other reviewers: completely useless. The real shame is that, for us who spent years in DK, we still need access to things like e-boks but without access to the mit-id system, we’re shut out. Tak for denne gang lille Danmark!
