Birthdays and (_____)
Love the app, just have a suggestion to make the app more useful - can you add the ability to change the "type" of event? The different groups are super useful but I would like the ability to add anniversaries, unique family holidays, or any other "type" of event and it seems like it would add a lot of value to your product and be an easy addition? Thanks!
Longtime not updated
This app not updating long time and not optimized for iOS 26 glass transparent theme
IOS 26
Buggy
It imported the birthdays but they were off by a day. The FAQ said to update the app, but there was no option to update. after I imported select contacts, I couldn’t see a way to import additional contacts, unless I deleted the app.
Thanks for this app
Thank you for this app
Imported dates are a day off
Issue has been going on for too long and this needs to be fixed.
Waiting for the dark icon for ios18
I’ve been using this app for years now and I couldn’t live without it! I could give it 5 stars if they finally implemented the dark mode icon for iOS. With iOS 18 most third-party apps have given us dark mode icons now and this is the only app that still shows a “light” version of the icon, which is sooo frustrating when you open the Home Screen or get a notification on your Lock Screen. Waiting for them to fix this little bug, in the meantime I’m giving it 4 stars.
Great but has a bug
This would be an amazing app except that the date is one day behind. It says my version should have fixed it but it did not. Don’t buy until you’re sure this has been fixed.
Great is here!
This is one great gizmo! Really helpful App!
Dates are a day ahead
Downloaded app and bought lifetime plan. All imported contact birthdays are a day ahead. Have reinstalled multiple times. FAQ says to update app but I have the most recent version downloaded (1.14). Emailed support about this issue, but might just have apple refund my money.
Started good but weird glitch
Thought it was a very lovely app at first until I noticed it changed all the birthdays by 1 day for some reason out of the blue 😅 which made for some annoying birthday messages and mix ups
Love it! Widget could be better.
Hi! As an iOS engineer with an interest in UI, I absolutely love your app! It’s very easy to use, and looks beautiful. The one thing I would suggest is improving the design of the larger widget. While it looks really good, it’s hard to tell who the people are. A couple suggestions: - Make the images slightly bigger (they look a bit too small, and it’s hard to recognize the photos at a glance). - “Days left until birthday” is useful, but not incredibly necessary for someone who will use the widget. It could be removed, giving you a decent amount of extra space to play around with. - Instead of the first few names showing up at the top in a single line, I would instead display a small version of each name under each picture. It seems far more useful and readable that way, and also viable if you make the changes I suggested above. Overall, I love the app. Thanks so much for such an awesome product with a clean design. Could you add a way to transfer birthdays between the Birthdays and the Countdown apps? I would love to do that, and I paid assuming it would be possible, but I can’t import my list from Countdowns. It would be great if I could transfer the images as well with each birthday, as it took me a looong time to add those. Once again, thank you! 5 stars!
Liquid glass was implemented into the settings button, but nowhere else?
Good example of a redesign gone wrong
Reclame…
Usually good
Worked fine, but when i turned off iCloud all of my birthdays got deleted. Major flaw
Love this❤️🥰😍
I love this it is the best I love it because I never remember bdays
unreliable
I don’t get why but it’s making everything a day earlier for some reason, i’ve been paying for a while now and i’ve embarrassed myself plenty of times because it’s putting people birthday earlier than it actually is
Love the app, but…
I love this app, but I recently reinstalled it (it was automatically offloaded) and the dates that are pre-set in my phone’s contact list are at least a day too early in your app. When I try to fix it, I set it to the correct date, and it bounces to 2 days before the person’s birthday. I’ll hit Save, because it won’t let me set the correct date, and it bounces back to 1 day before the correct date. Please fix this! Again, the dates are correct in Apple’s phone/contacts app.
Error
Date wheel is off. When entering someone’s birthday, you have to set it to the next day in order to show up correctly in the list. Example: birthday is July 31, 1991.. I had to set to to August 1 for it to reflect July 31??!!
Calendar synchronization
Please add the function to sync from calendars, not all the people in my contacts list have their birthdays written there, but they do in my calendars.
NanaJess
I absolutely love this app, my memory is horrible and now I don’t forget birthdays
Imports birthdays with wrong dates
Spent $10 to unlock the full app only for it to import all of my contacts birthdays as a day before their actual birthday. This seems like a glaring bug that urgently needs to be fixed. Just had to spend an hour updating them all by hand and feels like a huge waste of money.
Dates are off
I’ve had this app for a little while, and it was great at first - but in the last 6 months or so, new imported birthdays from my contacts are a day off - eg you have a contact with bday July 6, the app shows them as July 5; tried to manually add some to the app directly instead of importing, and you have to do the same thing inside the app ??? If you want someone to have July 6, you have to set them as July 7. Figured this would’ve been reported and fixed quickly, but just ran through reviews where folks reported it, the developer responded talking about it being important, but the issue is still there - recent review had a response in January from Dev, and still not fixed 7 months later.
Was mache ich falsch?☹️
Nice app, simple to use
Nice app for us people who always forget birthdays.
Imported every date 1 day early??
Wanted to love this app, but it imported every single birthday from my contacts *1 day early* - so every single birthday came in incorrectly. I’ll contact the team to see what’s up with that, but clearly a problem for a birthday app!
Praktische App
Sehr praktisch und einfach
Question
I just downloaded the app and I'd like to know, is it a one-time payment or a monthly subscription?
Ist
Cool
Perfect app to keep track of birthdays
I care about birthdays. And I care more about wishing someone a happy birthday when I see them on their day. I also want to know ahead of time so I can plan my wish or even a gift. Well until now I had a weekly reminder to check an excel table I manually made with birthdays to see which birthdays are in the following week. With this app however, it all got simpler. I have a widget that I always have infront of me. This app is amazing and the way you can customize notification times per group is fantastic. Big thank you to the developers.
Poor date handling
Every single birthday shows one day off. Makes the app pretty useless when it can’t get the one job it has right. Without that major bug, this would be a pretty decent app. This is still a problem as of Feb 2024. I will update my review if this is ever fixed, but as it is right now, nobody should pay for this app without checking if their time zone is also unsupported (anyone west of GMT is likely going to have the problem) They said they will fix it as soon as possible in their response, but the problem persists with no fix. Their FAQ says the birthday off by one issue is fixed, but it is not. Do not buy this app. Not they put big full screen ads for their other products. Definitely an app to avoid paying for. Update Sept 2024: They just responded that it was an apple bug and that it is fixed, but there is no way it is an apple bug (I was manually entering dates, not contact importing. As an iOS dev I know that it isn’t true), and it is NOT fixed with the latest release. Still an app to avoid paying for, especially with the obnoxious full screen ads after paying for the experience.
Really like the app and widget
Like the design, very useful. Would love an extra feature to show important dates created in a contact.
Love it 😍
I will add more detailed thoughts later
Even with 1.8.4 imports incorrect date
Imports date before the date stored on the contacts. The support page says it was fixed in newer build but is incorrect. Even after deleting all entries in app and re importing.
Jaja nice
Es kostet was
Not perfect
Was only able to import my information from contacts. Also there should be a option to import individual Facebook contacts

The date is one day off for birthdays
Once this is fixed, I’ll definitely update the rating and review.
Great app
Great and very useful. Would love a collapsed view that’s still in date order. When I collapse the list, it goes to alphabetical.
Good app though missing variety of widgets
I like the idea and the app, but my main concern is that it only has the small sized widget. I have a stack of medium sized widgets that I'd like to place it in and that isn't possible.
