It’s gone downhill
Used to be a great game, now it’s just pay to win. Proving grounds was fun, but now the only single player version is the campaign which gets repetitive after a few runs. Plus, you need to pay for generals. Why? It’s just pay to win, now.

The game is good and is very fun but when I played against anyone they just spammed generals and they had like 5 different generals in there deck

The game is good and all but the players ruin it. You can't play one match where you can have fun with the deck you made for fun and actually win because everyone else has copied the top player's decks. No matter what game mode you play in, if the deck you build is not a top tier one the top players have or a really good deck? normally then you'll lose every match you will play in or get lucky and get a person who is absolute noob level, otherwise? You can't play this game for fun other then story mode. Game is great but the players ruin it. I got this game to have fun, not to copy the daily top tier deck from top tier players and call myself good and ruin the fun of other people who actually play this game for fun because they like the stick game's this company makes. Other then the player base? Game is great in my opinion and actually really cool. I would of given it 5 stars if not for the player base.

It doesn’t work!
Had fun with the campaign.
This was everything I wanted when I first played legacy. I enjoyed the campaign and the multiplayer is cool too. I also appreciate that generals that cost money aren’t too overpowered. However… the state of multiplayer seems a bit rough right now. I’ve now faced the same (save for maybe an enchant or two changed) two archer spam and zombie invasion decks in 10 of my last 12 games.
Game basically no longer works
So like the title the game basically no longer works because in the middle of the game and the start it keeps lagging and then kicking me out of the game so I have to keep rejoining please fix this.
Its fun but theres one issue
Its really fun but with lots of stuff but when I play in 2v2s, I always get paired with teammates that have a lot lower elo than me

Stick war legacy is better
The downgrade
I used to play this game when it first came out. And I loved it. It had a sandbox mode, free events, a whole new brand of strategy (for me at least), and heroes that were super cool. There is no doubt about it, it was one of my favourites. I stopped playing it for a couple years, and decided recently to get it back, as it was so fun. I hate it now. The free heroes? Nah, sorry, the good ones now cost £5. The game’s PvP has turned so P2W, with most of my old decks using older characters like the Kai. P2W mechanics ruin strategy games like this. I would have accepted it if the things that I thought made this game what it was were still there. Sandbox mode? No more, only a campaign which limits gameplay, PvP, and events. But at least the events are free right? Wrong again I was, as now they cost gems to get, and a lot of them. Gems are not easy to get, unless you want to get out that wallet you have in your pocket. And the event access (to only 1) is gone after a couple of loses. That is not worth any of the cosmetic options that you can get from it. I’m really upset that the promising game that I saw years ago lose what made it stand out from all the other games like this.

I love the game
I’m still beginning the first campaign but I love the world building and the strategy you have to put into it. Also I wish the troops would show some form of an upgrade when I’m upgrading the light unit skill tree

Well I have played this game for a year or two (idk how many) and this game is absolutely amazing but one problem generals are now behind a pay wall and I’d been saving sooo long to start affording cosmetics for the generals and Im sure others have too so so please take away the pay wall and refund anyone who have - kind regards

Game
Game is put together nicely and enjoyable. However would like to see perhaps a new game mode introduced like a wave survival for example. And be nice to have some new troops & spells put into the game
OP Zombie giant
Used to enjoy playing the game, everyone used strategy to win. But now most players use the zombie giant that also can be used with the skeleton general. Now every match it’s just two players using giants constantly. No matter the line up you have soon as you see the opposition has the giants you might as well quit. I play free but the game is now completely pay to win.

I have all the walls unlocked but for some unknown reason it’s visibly only showing the default wall can you fix this issue ? The buildable wall by the miner shows the default one hope you fix it

Had to change my review was 5 stars but updates have completely changed the game.
The new updates have ruined the game, units now wander of alone archers will randomly separate and go on solo missions I feel the new game mechanics are awful, I was a daily player could have even called me addicted, got my mates to download it n have a go but we all feel the game is defective so have just stopped playing until the game is what it was !!!! 1/10 is the new rating, it was 10/10 but the game feels broken. Was so good of a game I even bought a giant lord sightless waste of money now I don’t Play 😒 I deleted the game

Was good then they decided to go down greedy monetisation. Commanders- the core of your units- are swapped every week unless you pay an absurd price for one. Meaning if you like a comp- good luck using it consistently
Kind of disappointed.
I don’t’ really understand why generals were locked behind a paywall despite being free before? And I don’t think there is any need for anymore skins. I think what needs to happen (in my opinion) is to focus on the chaos campaign first and add some more units. Make a way for the generals to be unlocked for free instead of just behind a paywall. It shouldn’t be FOR free because the people who paid for it will get angry. But it shouldn’t be JUST paid for because that makes the game p2w. If the devs want to add more generals, fine. Instead of rotations make a way to constantly free to access instead of paywalling them! For content, add some challenges so people won’t be bored out of their minds playing the only campaign offline or only having to play PvP. Or add some community events for people to work together with to achieve a goal! This is only my opinion and thoughts though, it’s up to the devs on what they want to do.

I have been playing this game since it was released and I will have to say it is one of the most funnest games out there.i love it and hope they keep adding more feature to the game. Have a good day and I hope you try this game out for yourself.
Pay to Win
I’ve played Stick Wars for over 3 years and it used to be an incredibly enjoyable game where paying real life money was meant for customising your army. Now it’s just pay to win and incredibly unbalanced to the point it’s just unenjoyable. The developers have entirely ruined it by allowing a win just by purchasing one or two special characters - pointless.
Make it better
Make it like stick war legacy and make units cooler and it’s to hard
Single player gone
Ok…. Why is single player gone I open up the game and boom! Simple players gone, you got to understand I have no friends and suck at the game so playing against players that are better than is not how I want to end the day.
