What people like
- Does exactly what it promises
- Very helpful for staying on track
- Works well with hearing protection
What they complain about
- Alarms often fail to sound
- Ads interrupt the hourly chime
- Time zone changes are ignored
Great app
Works like a dream, does exactly what it should
Didn’t work
Follow the instructions, turned on the alarms, three in a row did not ring. Deleted
Given 58 minutes
Very helpful to just remind one that "yes, the day continues, time is linear and fixed, so if something needs to be done today, which stage of your plan for getting it done are you at?.....really?.....yes, tomorrow similar dimensions, what time shall we start? Time announcements need more volume.
Can barely hear the notifications
Something is off
No “chime”
It’s nice, tells the time in many languages. Wish there was options where it would just ding or “chime”
Awesome
Awesome
The hourly signal is not working
A useless app. Nothing is working.
Great App! In a noisy environment all day.
I use this with my Bluetooth hearing protection. Helps me keep track of time without having to look at the clock.

Just in time
Before I Wasn’t — Now I Am! YAY!!
Does not work for truck driver who travels in different time zone every few hours
I had bad experience with this app not catching up to my phone time zone its displayed either behind or ahead current time zone.
Few kinks need attention but otherwise alright
Wish there was a 5 minute heads up option available to toggle on or off before each hour, for those who need to be aware/pay attention that the top of the hour is about approaching. Otherwise works pretty well, unless the app has an ad going, cause if so the alarm does not always go off each hour.
I need this to work on Apple Watch
Not working on Apple Watch
Good but need improvement
Two Suggestions: 1. It Announce Hourly Chime before telling time Please make it announce only Time not its own name. 2. Add male voice as well
Me encanta
Don’t buy. It doesn’t do anything.
I set several hourly alarms and nothing happens when they’re supposed to go off.
Only up to 12 hours
I like the app, but it seems to only allow up to 12 hourly reminders, even with the paid version.
Great
Please give us options for different voices.
Audio not good
This app has a voice that speaks the name of hour. So at 2PM tou get a verbal notification that says, “2PM”. I prefer to be notified with a sound (e.g., a chime), but that’s not an option with this app. I plan to delete this app from my phone.
An Hourly Time Reminder
For a single dollar, you get an App that does one thing—Announce *The Hour*. This app does this one thing very well. You tell the App which hours to announce in the settings. When the hour comes, it says the time. That's it. I think this one is easy enough even for the occasional app dabbler and the newbie. Personally, though, I would like two options: 1. A Few Voice Choices, 2. The ability to announce at any time of the day or night. I use Apple Reminders, but I'd like to use this background app with a pleasant voice for a while. I need at least the ability to announce the time, say 10, 15, or 20 minutes before the hour. A few announcement options would be good, too. For example, "Time to get ready."
Not reliable
Some times it sounds, some time it doesn’t.
Reliability
Sometimes it skips an hour 👍
Far out!
Radical!
Doesn’t always work!
App worked for awhile but than stopped working!
Love app needs improvement
Like still announce hourly time without notifications on and announcing time in Military time because that’s what I have the time as on my iPhone.
No
Disgusting....It never speaks time....just showing in notification each time....none of use......regret on my decision of purchasing it....
It does whatever it wants
I set what times to state time, but it seems to decide that it wants to announce the time on hours i did not set.
Nice reminder
It has been so helpful to get a little reminder what time it is every hour
Whah
I wish it would CHIME
Great Product
Works very well.
Needs to follow iPhone time especially with time changes
I am traveling to another country and the time still reflects US time and not the time I’m traveling in. iPhones automatically adjust your phones time so I do not know this app does not reflect the change in time when I travel. Other wise it works okay
Good but a few things need fixing
In spanish the time in the afternoon is incorrectly saying manana pm. Also sometimes the app needs a reset when changing timezones.
Does not work
I configured it to chime every hour between 9am and 11pm. I selected all of those hours, selected “enable chimes”, AND I gave permissions for it to use my phone. It never chimed once. All it did was push noisy ads at me. FAIL.
Brilliant
I like it
，
Keeps me on time I love it!
I love this app it keeps me moving and by hearing the time every hour it helps me stay on track with my daily activities ❤️
First ad: tap thru to an Apple Store receipt scam
I suppose you could pay for no-ads. But I already am unhappy.
Plus + Minus =????? plus
It chimes not only @ O‘clocks but everytime you open the mobile, even if it half past time is over. Very very irritating. eg. It would announce 11 O Clock at 11.45 AM if you happen to switchon the mobile after sometime past
Helpful app
I purchased for security job so i would know when an hour passed to make sure i did hourly reports. It needs to allow max or alternative volume than default as sometimes in noisy environments.
Unflexible
Would be nice if I could set the time during the hour for the hourly chime to go off. Example: 10 minutes after the hour every hour.
Good
Good working as expected
Excellent
Does exactly what it says. Announces the hour, full flexibility to silence during night time.
