What people like
- Score and handicap in one place
- Much better than the old version
What they complain about
- Hard to find your last twenty scores
- App freezes and crashes frequently
- Missing disabled golfer information completely
Great app!
Awesome to be able to score and view your handicap all in one place.
Creating an Account
Not user friendly can’t even create an account
Last 20
I like the app but I wanted something in it to easily generate a PDF of my handicap and my last 20 rounds, which I needed to enter an overseas event. Can this be added to the app, or is it already there?
Backward change
Was much better a year ago
Ok but it has lost functionality
The quintessential requirement of the app is to easily be able to copy your and your friends GA (Golflink) numbers but that ability has disappeared. You need it to cut and paste into bookings etc. please bring it back.
Great upgrade
Big improvement from the last app!
Freezes when checking daily handicap
Terrible app, tried resetting my phone as I thought it might’ve been playing up but found it’s the app. Checking daily handicap it freezes, the rest button doesn’t work, the add player button doesn’t work. Woeful
‘Approved rule 25.2’ No longer present on app
Why is it you can add advertising to the app but you can’t add one line to the disabled golfers info. This is rubbish and discriminatory. FIX IT. Disabled golfers have to fight for their rights every time they play because you have removed that approval notification.
Developers pls fix search
The App is so basic in many ways. The Course Lookup search feature doesn’t work at all unless full access is given to location > privacy & Security.
No indicator of last 20 games
Why not differentiate last 20 rounds that contribute to handicap like the old version. Now I have to count 20 lines to see which flags are about to drop off. This app seems like a backward step over old one!
A huge step backwards
A prime example of how to take a functional App and make it significantly worse. The latest version removes useful features such as average round times and time remaining to play a hole on pace. Other features that are supposed to work, like adding players to the Daily Handicap screen simply do NOT work. And try to find a User Guide somewhere. Unobtainium! Whatever focus group decided that the new version is fit for market needs to have a rethink.
Stinker of an app
Gee. What a stinker of an app. Preferred the previous version and that wasn’t great. Can’t even see your “Adjusted Total Strokes” score for the round like you could previously. Very “meh” new version.
Rubbish
I never write a review for an app. But this one is just another level. Get your act together GA
Buggy
Absolute garbage this app. Do better golf Australia
Not designed for users
Either the app or its data server are very slow; it takes quite a while to load the first page. If it is possible to view the last 20 (+) rounds, the access has been very well hidden. I was an IT professional, and this smacks of a rushed job which took into account little or no user input.
Why did they bother
Why…. Why did they change. This app has been full of bugs for months. Can’t easily see you daily handicap. Horrible
Hopeless App
Installed it on my iPad and it froze first time I opened it. A total garbage app, both the performance and UI design are just awful. Giving it 1 out of 5 is extremely generous.
Unfathomable
This is the worst app I have ever used. Who employs these people? It is so convoluted, e.g. you can’t see your last 20 scores, it only displays last 3! Please fix it & return to previous app, which worked fine for 10+ years.
